Audio Interface for Embedded PC
Staroň, Martin ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
The scope of my master thesis is a designing computer sound interface including measurement of audio performance. This work is concerning both design analog front - ends and digital support circuits. The sigma delta Analog to Digital (ADC) and Digital to Analog (DAC) converters is included in this conception. Those converters has been made into two separate printed circuit boards. All signal paths in this circuitry are utilizing differential mode that are quoted as balanced among audio engineers. Modern circuit components are used in this design, such as fully differential operational amplifiers, electronically controlled gain preamplifiers, low drop linear stabilizers with low noise level, DC component suppression circuits and low jitter active components. Theoretical part of this thesis contains specification of choosed sound defitions, questioning audio program loudness leveling. Further criteria of suitable active and passive components are included. In this thesis the simulations of fundamental circuits block are meant likewise. Practical part involve complete layout of printed circuit boards of and prototyping. Designed prototype device has wide application usage. It is intended to use not only as industrial computers, but also as dedicated sound converters, measurement cards, mixing consoles, switching matrixes, active loudspeakers, embedded systems.

Linear prediciton and cepstral synthesis of speech signal in the TTS system
Mekyska, Jiří ; Stejskal, Vojtěch (referee) ; Smékal, Zdeněk (advisor)
This work deals with a linear prediction and cepstral synthesis of speech signal in the TTS (Text-to-Speech) systems with the opportunity of modeling the prosody. The work contains a description of speech signal in acoustic and phonetic plane, the principle of speech production and the way we can figure the speech signal in time and frequency domain. Next, there is the TTS block structure mentioned, whereas each block has its own detailed description. In the work, the modeling of prosody using the three most important suprasegmental features (fundamental tone, continuation and speech intensity) is also described. At the end of this work, there is a design and realization of universal Czech TTS system which is based on the speech synthesis in frequency domain. This system is implemented in program MATLAB.

Analog 0-10V to Ethernet convertor
Hlúpik, Martin ; Štohl, Radek (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This Master`s thesis concern with problematic of connection analog sensors with voltage output 0-10V to a ethernet communication network. Due to a quick evolution and an application ethernet nets to industry and building technologies is possible to use this solution for connection remote diagnostics and setting of existing analog sensors without bus communication interfaces on instrumentation level of field bus networks. The converter is based on Rabbit module, which can be used like webserver for setting, calibration and data recording. For purpose of wide converter use the data output will be purvey on ethernet interface by Modbus TCP and on asynchronous serial interface RS232. First part of thesis is aimed on description of existing solutions and introduction with principles of linearization and calibration of A/D converters. Description of communication standard Modbus TCP widely used in industry applications. Second part of thesis describes design a realization of project. Here is described equipment block diagram with detail description of each block and devices used. In the part of implementation is description of device firmware with program function description and control. Last part is engage with module function verification supported with plantz of measurements and tests. The thesis is ended with evaluation results, knowledge and detections found out in development of project.

Design of regulated laboratory source with current measurement
Panáček, Jiří ; Šteffan, Pavel (referee) ; Magát, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with problematic and design of linear laboratory power supply. The first impulse start design of this device was requirement of simple and low cost laboratory power supply with good performance for debugging and measuring electronic circuits. This design keeps modern trend in lab power supplies with driving via microcontroller. This solution makes device easy to control and it is possible change program equipment.

Sky-line carriage
Pelikán, Jakub ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
The main topic of this bachelor’s thesis is to design sky-line carriage used for removing logs from inaccessible areas. The task is design sky-line carriage for carrying capacity 3500kg. The thesis includes recherche, functional calculations of bearings, welds, tight tongues and linear hydraulic engine. Also is there the design of sky-line carriage as a whole with its brake system.

Positioning table for 3D optical profiler.
Kuruc, Marek ; Prokeš, František (referee) ; Šperka, Petr (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with design and technical elaboration of positioning table for a 3D optical profiler, which is supposed to enable linear translation in two axes and tilting in two identical axes. Research of contemporary available solutions is made. Design priorities are precision of translation and tilt adjustment and achieving as low structure as possible.

Description of linear feed systems of machine tools
Kocanda, Petr ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Blecha, Petr (advisor)
The Work contains a detailed description of parts forming the linear displacement system of machine tools. The Work is also focusing on several producers who deal with this issue. High attention is paid to the merits, qualities and methods on how the making of single machine parts is solved; this is described both from the design and process viewpoints.

Prediction of ash production as a side effect of burning coal in the coal power plant Ledvice
Zikmundová, Alena ; Kuncová, Martina (advisor) ; Houšková Beránková, Martina (referee)
The topic of this thesis is the prediction of production of ash as a side product in the coal power plant Ledvice. The goal of the first two chapters was to present the development of consumption of electricity and the resources of electric energy in Europe, show the trends in energy industry at the beginning of the 21st century, introduce the energetic company ČEZ, summarize the issue of side products in power plants and present the new block of the coal power plant Ledvice. In the theory section, the methods of linear programming, simulation models, linear regression model and artificial neural networks were presented. These methods were used in the application section to create an optimization model for the processing of the side products of burning coal, to create a simulation of the production of side products and to use the results to optimize the processing of the side products of burning coal and to create a model to predict the production of bottom ash to coal burned ratio based on the characteristics of the coal burned moisture, ash and lower heating value using artificial neural networks.

The influence of chosen psychical factors on performance of competitor in wild water slalom
Kubričan, Pavel ; Bílý, Milan (advisor) ; Hátlová, Běla (referee)
Title of diploma paper: The influence of chosen psychical factors on the performance of Competitor in wild water slalom. Aim: The aim of the work is based on the results of the questionnaire CSA-I 2 to determine the values of all three components Racing anxiety and their impact on the performance of the plant itself. Methods: To determine the values of competitive anxiety questionnaire was used CSAI-second results They were processed using the statistical program SPSS. The comparison was used for data nonparametric correlation research. results: Water slalom have higher cognitive and somatic anxiety and lower confidence than top athletes from other sports. has not been demonstrated linear relationship between the individual components racing anxiety and own performance in a given race. Keywords: Racing anxiety, self-confidence, sports performance, water slalom. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
