The proposal of tourism development project in selected part of Šumava foothills

The project is to build a multifunctional building for tourism development in the area. For this purpose it is necessary reconstruction of the former vicarage and its surroundings. Attractive village center and to create conditions to support the development and management of tourism in the region of Šumava foothills. This is connected with the office building of destination management organizations, information corner (info-) for tourists and space for a small museum exhibition. The project will assist not only the tourists who come to the place, but will also help operators of tourism services in the region and local residents. The purpose of this project is to exploit the potential of tourism in the region for its development. Among these conditions rectory building return to operational status and help to improve the visual view of the village center.

Bachelor's thesis analyzes the potential for tourism in Ústí region with methods of analysis, synthesis and statistical data. Theoretical part is focused on importance of tourism for regional development and development of tourism in Czech Republic after the year 1989. Practical part is aimed on Ústí region and analysis of the potential for tourism was made based on data available from the Czech Statistical Office. Last part of practical part contains plan for education trail realization, which might be a new place to visit.
Evaluation of tourism development in Liberec region

The tourism is considered to be fast growing economic sector which has significant impact on regional development. The Czech Republic is a major European tourist destination and has good potential for further development. The thesis focuses on tourist development in the tourist areas of the Liberec region. The introductory part is focused on tourism from a theoretical perspective. The practical part is devoted to the status of tourism in the Czech Republic and the position of the Liberec region in the country. Liberec region has very favourable natural and cultural-historical prerequisites for the development of tourism, the best potential for its further development have the tourist areas: Jizera Mountains, Giant Mountains and Czech Paradise.
The Tourism Development Strategy of Selected Region – Hradec Králové Region

This thesis examines the topic of the management of tourism destinations. The main aim is to summarize the potential of tourism in Hradec Králové region on the basis of the performed analysis and suggest a strategy for further tourism development. The first part deals with basic definitions and theories of destination management and marketing. The second part is devoted to tourism in Hradec Králové Region. It includes an analysis of the key factors of tourism development, an analysis of the current situation of tourism in the region, a SWOT analysis, and possibilities for further tourism development.
Analysis of the use of financial resources from the European Union for supporting tourism development in the Olomouc Region

This bachelor thesis analyzis the use of financial resources from EU funds for tourism development in the Olomouc region. The aim is to determine whether funding from the European Union can help to develop the region and enhance its tourism potencial. The first part is theoretical and aims to regional and structural policy of the European union. The development of regional policy and main goals for the programming periods 2004 - 2006 and 2007 - 2013 are characterizated. Further funds financing the regional and structural policy of the European union are briefly described. The regional policy of the Czech Republic and its possibilities of drawing money from EU funds are outlined and operational programme ROP NUTS II Central Moravia, which can be used for the tourism development of the Olomouc region, is presented in detail. The second chapter is practical and consists of two parts. In the first part is made the socioeconomic characterisation of the Olomouc region and analysis of its potential for the tourism development. Within the characterisation of the Olomouc region is also made the SWOT analysis and on its basis are suggested possible solutions of the regional problems. The second part focuses on the specific example of a succesful project which was implemented in the Olomouc region and analyzes its impact on tourism development.

This bachelor thesis aims to work out the tourism policy concept of the town Žďár nad Sázavou. The thesis deals with marketing management of destination and characterization of stakeholders involved in destination management in the region. The thesis also analyse Žďár nad Sázavou as a holiday destination and includes the proposal of measures to further development of the tourism in the town.
The Analysis of Travel and Tourism in the State of Arizona

The thesis deals with travel and tourism in the state of Arizona, USA. The first, theoretical part, defines basic tourism related terms used in this thesis; i.e. definition of tourism, tourism typology, types of tourism participants, tourism destination and prerequisites for a tourism development. The second, analytical part, introduces the state of Arizona from the point of its geography, climate, demography, economy and political situation. Next chapters are devoted to the prerequisites of tourism development in the state of Arizona, tourism organizations operating in the USA, analysis of visitation of the state of Arizona, and to the impact of travel and tourism on the Arizonian economy. The thesis is completed with the SWOT analysis evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of the destination Arizona, as well as its opportunities and threats for the future.
Strategy of tourism development in Central Bohemia Region

The utilization of potential of the region Pěnčínsko for tourism development

This thesis analyses the potential for tourism development in the region of Pěnčín near Jablonec nad Nisou- current supply of the tourism porducts, unexploited potential, planned projects and investments. The questionnaire research among the locals is also part of the analysis. It should demonstrate the attitude of locals to tourism and its possible development. This analysis and findings from the theoretical part of thesis are used for suggestion of tourism operating in this region.
