Office Centre
Ďureje, Andrej ; Šmak, Milan (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
The content of diploma thesis is designing, project development and static estimation of the supporting steel structure in two different variants of the atypical office building (business center). The object is located in densely built-up location in the Brno. The building is designed as a seven storey. The entrances to the above ground floors are designed from balconies, which are roofed and situated on the edge of the object. The footprint dimensions are 57,6 x 57,6 m. Variants are compared based on weight and size of the coating surfaces supporting construction of the object. Drawing documentation, static calculation of joints and details of the construction are processed for the best variant.

The Roofing of the Sport Multipurpose Hall
Koteš, Mário ; Bajer, Miroslav (referee) ; Buchta, Stanislav (advisor)
Main task of this thesis is to design a roofing of multi-purpose sport hall. Multipurpose sport hall has a floor dimensions 48 x 35 m and is 16.0 m high. The hall is composed of cross-linked steel girders saved on rolled profiles of columns, which transmit loads into concrete pile foundations. Gable roof has a slope 7° and it is hidden behind a parapet which consists of steel square profiles. The construction consists of thin-walled purlins made by the company Voestalpine. Rigidity is ensured by steel elements in the plane of the roof structure in the longitudinal plane and gable walls. The thesis is carried out in compliance with the Eurocodes.

The main supporting system is composed of truss girders. On the one side the truss girders are pinned on column, on the other side they are pinned into foundation. The truss girders are arc-shaped, with structural height 1,5 m. Distance between main structures are 6 m. Construction is designed as system without purlins. Bars of the steel structure are from rolled profiles and are designed according to current standards. Supporting elements are designed from steel of class S 355 and S 460.
