Object Oriented Library for Controlling an e-Puck Robot
Plátek, Ondřej ; Mráz, František (advisor) ; Černo, Peter (referee)
E-Puck is an educational robot with differential drive and it is sufficiently equipped with sensors. The result of present thesis is the C# object oriented Elib library, which allows to control an e-Puck robot from a host computer over the Bluetooth wireless technology. The model examples in the TestElib console application presents the usage of the Elib library in program for the e-Puck robot. Moreover, it offers a comfortable system of help and documentation. Enclosed sets of tools allows more effective debugging of programs, which use the Elib library.
Design and measurement of a small induction motor
Fišer, Jan ; Klíma, Jiří (referee) ; Mach, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with design and measurement of a small induction motor. The introduction describes a structure and an operating principle of the induction motor. The following part deals with analytical calculation of three-phase induction motor‘s properties. Next are executed an analytical calculations and a finite element method calculations by the Maxwell software. In the end are these calculations compared with results from measurement.
Wireless Communication in Home Automation
Prokop, Michal ; Gutman, Jiří (referee) ; Hynčica, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is about how to make wireless communication network by IQRF technology which is intended for a home automation. It’s created by using DPA custom handler. This network can be made without programming thanks to DPA custom handler. This wireless network is realized by light model that is controlled by coordinator or by a button on a node. After that I measured latency and energy consumption on several various synchronous network and asynchronous network.
Efficiency Improvement of Small Induction Motors
Vilím, Martin ; Veselka, František (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
In this bachelor´s thesis I discuss about asynchronous engines in general, describe their construction and principle of operation, using. It also includes measurements of a specific motor and design engine. The first part deals with theprinciple of the engine options including the fundamental control over speed and torque. The second part deals with the measurement of the size of the searchengine and losses. The last part provides a proposal for a new induction motor.
Control of excitation of synchronous generator
Horník, Vincenc ; Červinka, Dalibor (referee) ; Huták, Petr (advisor)
The main focus of the work is to create the optimal design of the reconstruction of synchronous generator excitation system of small hydro power plants with regard to the economical and technical performance, description of synchronous generator excitation, possible technical solutions to the reconstruction of excitation systems and their driving.
Design and analysis of three-phase induction motor
Svoreň, Jan ; Skalka, Miroslav (referee) ; Vítek, Ondřej (advisor)
This project is focused to projecting and analysing the three-phase induction machine. It starts with introduction to principle functions of electrical machines and their design issues. The main objective is to develop a method to calculate and analysis a smaller machine. The design involves the calculation of the main dimensions of the machine, the calculation of the number and dimensions of the rotor and stator grooves and calculation of the stator windings. Designed machine is analysed by calculation and finite elements method.
Classification of asynchronous motors
Čala, Václav ; Dušek, Jiří (referee) ; Singule, Vladislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with a creation of a “Classification Document” of asynchronous motors with a short-circuit armature with axial heights of 355, 400, 450, 500, and 560 mm. Furthermore, it is concerned with a creation of an integral design documentation for the production and assembly of these motors at the company TES VSETÍN, s.r.o. By writing this diploma thesis I would like to achieve a simplification of communication with the customers during the processing of asynchronous motors orders and to speed up the processing of asynchronous motors orders not only in the design department but also the complete technologic preparation of the production which will surely be provided by this integrated documentation.
Analysis of dynamic load from induction machine current signature
Pavláček, Jan ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the analysis of the dynamic behavior of the load from the measurement of stator currents of induction motor. Work is sorted from basic engine failures equations, mathematical models, types of signal processing, simulation and measurement. The practical part deals with the design of the motor model in Matlab Simulink, the simulated and the measurement of the pump BETA 12 YC On the Department of Fluid Engineering Victor Kaplan. Use appropriate types of signal processing evaluate the results. The aim of this work is to analyze the dynamic changes of the load.
Operation of small hydroelectric power plants and employment of self-excited induction generators
Horník, Vincenc ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (referee) ; Vítek, Ondřej (advisor)
The main focus of the work is the design and construction of static excitation unit of asynchronous generator small hydro power plants with regard to the economic and technical demands. Description of the issue excitation asynchronous generators and possible technical solutions use asynchronous generators in island networks.
Design of high-speed induction motor
Svoreň, Jan ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (referee) ; Vítek, Ondřej (advisor)
This work deal with troubleshooting of problem parts of high-speed induction machines. Introduction is about conception of induction machines with reference to construction specialities due to high rpm and because machines are fed by inverter. Next part is focused to design problems. A classical induction machine was measured to determination change of various losses in classic and high-speed induction machines. The computation of laboratory sample high-speed motor was specified for calculation of effective resistance and leakage reactance of solid-steel rotor with copper layer. The results of numerical calculation were validated by using finite elements method and machine design was adjusted for improving operation characteristic.
