Students´ Activation in Economic Subjects of the Educational System at Commercial Academie

The thesis is focused on the basic principles of activation methods as a useful tool for complementation and diversification of the education process. Every method is distinguished in a way that the reader can consider applicability of its use and its significance. The thesis should draw attention to advantages of activation methods when compared to standard direct teaching and introduce the reader to some non-standard methods. Included is a questionnaire research among students and teachers of two commercial academies as well as an outcome of the research. Its aim is to determine whether teachers of the commercial academy use activation methods during the education process of specialised subject and whether students perceive them. Complex evaluation of the questionnaires and interconnection of the results - answers from the students and teachers will help us to evaluate teaching methods used at given schools and knowledge of activation methods by the teachers themselves. To conclude, an analysis of the up-to-date state will be made, based on the outcome of the research, and proposition of possible improvement of the education process will be drawn.

Application of critical thinking in teaching Czech Language, literature and art education at the primary schools

This thesis deals with the application of methods of Critical Thinking in the teaching of Czech language, literature and art education in secondary schools. The work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of teaching methods in general, discusses the principles of the Reading and Writing for Critical Thinking, classification and description of its each method and also a question best alternative arts curriculum or components of the Czech language for the application of methods of Critical Thinking. The practical part includes ideas for lessons of Czech language, literature and art, created according to the principles of Critical Thinking and using its methods.

The project is focused on traditional dishes of Norwegian and Czech cosine that were realized by students from participating countries.

The Museum: A Meeting Point for Formal and Informal Curriculum

This thesis deals with the linking of school education with museum educational activities. It focuses primarily on the possibility of primary schools. It assesses how the museum can be used in the implementation of educational activities. He draws attention to specific forms of educational activities at the museum. In Detail, it is focused on defining the various teaching methods that can be prioritized in museum education. The thesis describes the role of museum education program, which is applicable in the project classes at school. The entire work points out apparent effort to integrate extracurricular learning opportunities taking place in the museum with school hours. Museum learning is seen as complementary and expanding the classroom. Yet he constantly emphasizes the uniqueness of the museum. Museum with a different environment from the school can offer a remarkable experience associated with teaching.

There were two walks ready for processing of this thesis, one of them was a field trip and the other was a chat with naturalist. The aim of this thesis is to suggest activities leading to cognition of the neighbourhood of Moravské Budějovice and to place these activities in convinient natural subjects-oriented at primary school (especially natural science and elementary teaching and national history and geography).

Basic teaching methods and their use in social studies class

It also includes a description of the methodology and survey results of a public inquiry, which aimed to find out how students 6th grade of primary school are seen in the group work. The effort was made to increase the activity of the students to adopt an appropriate leadership lesson and to achieve a better understanding of the curriculum in social studies.

Comparison of chosen teaching methods in learning about nature at primary school

Diploma thesis work with chosen teaching methods which are used in learning about nature. This diploma thesis contains many instruction, recommendatious for teaching nature studies at primary school. It also contains a review of books, requisites and didactical plays which can be insert into seperate lessons. At the end there are single results of tests, which lead to comparison of chosen methods of student´s working, which are used by acquireing knowledge about nature. According to the results we can find out also the successfulness of solving separate types of questions in the test.
