Causes and consequences of heavy households indebtedness
Procházka, Ivan ; Tuček, Milan (advisor) ; NÁHRADNÍ, OPONENT (referee)
Bachelor thesis Causes and consequences ofheavy household indebtedness deals over the issue of indebtedness of households in the Czech Republic. Finding the causes and examines the implications of this present phenomenon. The first part defines the trend of household heavy indebtedness, which is almost ten years, an upward trend, and that brings along the risk of insolvency. Furthermore, looking over and defines the causes household indebtedness. To this purpose, using an analysis of various stakeholders of this phenomenon. For each of them analyzes its interests, behavior, the relationship with other stakeholders, but also the possibility of interference with the issue. Finally, it summarizes all the findings and describes the interaction between various stakeholders.
Automatic Categorization of Unknown Words Based on Derivational Relations
Faltusová, Marie ; Dytrych, Jaroslav (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the construction of a system for automatic classification of~unknown words based on derivation bonds. For this purpose, the system was designed to~extract derivative links based on electronic dictionaries and to create word-forming models from them. Based on this knowledge, it is then possible to incorporate unclassified words into existing nests formed from the obtained bonds, and their models, or create new ones. The reader will be gradually acquainted with the reasons that lead to the continuous transformation or expansion of the lexicon, the ways in which the words in~the~Czech language are derived and how to obtain information about the changes caused by this derivation process. This system builds on and extends the research of the branch of morphology in~the~project of a morphological analyzer of the Research Group of Knowledge Technologies, working at the Faculty of Information Technology of the Brno University of~Technology.
Propedeutics of differential and integral calculi
Malachov, Martin ; Halas, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Slavík, Antonín (referee)
Propaedeutics of Differential and Integral Calculi Author: Ing. Martin Malachov Department: Department of Mathematics Education Supervisor: Zdeněk Halas, DiS., Ph.D. Department of Mathematics Education Keywords: propaedeutics, derivative, Riemann integral, applications Differential and integral calculi both are interesting and beautiful branches of mathematics with many interdisciplinary overlaps and significant and practi- cal applications. Learning as well as teaching of these topics is very difficult and demanding. In this thesis we show that the derivatives and integrals have much to offer in the high school education while the schooling can be eased and made attractive with intentional propaedeutics and knowledge of rich background of applications. First part of the thesis presents short contem- plation on the current state of teaching and literature, we focus on the urge for the propaedeutics of the differential and integral calculi revealed by us. We identify key terms that can be used to build useful preconcepts during the whole high school education, even in the elementary education. In the latter part of the thesis we offer teacher innovative texts and a rich set of origi- nal exercises that can be used for motivation, application and propaedeutics of the differential and integral calculi. We also present...
Harmonisation of Language Resources for Word-Formation of Multiple Languages
Kyjánek, Lukáš ; Ševčíková, Magda (advisor) ; Zeman, Daniel (referee)
In the field of Natural Language Processing, word-formation is under-resourced comparing to inflectional morphology. Moreover, the existing resources capturing word-formation differ in many aspects. This thesis aims to review existing language resources for word-formation across languages and to unify them to a common data structure and file format. Basic notions of word-formation are followed by a review of existing language resources and their comparison in both quantitative and qualitative aspects. In the core part of the thesis, the harmonisation process is presented. Design decisions on the unification procedure are presented, and the selection of the resources to unify is described. The resources are unified to the rooted tree data structure and stored in a lexeme-based file format, which is already used in DeriNet 2.0. The procedure applies supervised machine learning model and the Maximum Spanning Tree algorithm. While the model scores word-formation relations, the MST algorithm uses the scores for identifying the rooted tree structure in each word-formation family. The resulting collection of harmonised resources covering 20 European languages was published under the title 'Universal Derivations' (UDer).
Euler's number in calculus
RÁLKOVÁ, Lucie
The main aim of my thesis on the topic of "Euler's number in mathematical analysis" is to create an overview of the Euler numbers in calculus. This essay in the first part deals with the rise of the number e, in other parts of the current use of calculus. Purpose of this work is the insight students of secondary schools and universities to problems Euler numbers and to better understand the importance of e not only in mathematics.
Properties of derivative
Marková, Hana ; Zelený, Miroslav (advisor) ; Hencl, Stanislav (referee)
In the bachelor thesis we relate the concepts of derivative, the Darboux pro- perty and the function of the Baire class one. It is shown that each derivative has Darboux property and is of the Baire class one. Furthermore, we characterize the functions of the Baire class one using their associated sets. We introduce the concept of Zahorski classes and put them in connection with the functions of the Baire class one with the Darboux property. At the end of the thesis, we prove the Clarkson-Denjoy theorem.
Using of the GeoGebra software to solve problems of mathematical analysis
VAVRUŠKOVÁ, Radka
The present thesis deals with the solution of examples of mathematical analysis, specifically from the examples of derivatives of functions using mathematical GeoGebra. Derivative taught in secondary schools, but in practice, the school will meet them, especially in the last years of grammar schools. In this thesis, we will show examples of different solutions using GeoGebra. These examples are selected from different collections of tasks so that the whole issue has undergone differentiation. Calculated model examples should assist students in practicing derivatives. Together with examples and their solutions are given basic definition of derivatives, which are necessary knowledge to himself counting derivatives.
Czech ekvivalents of German composites on the example of selected texts form the field of hotel industry and tourism in Austria
ŠINDELÁŘOVÁ, Andrea
The thesis deals with the differences in Czech and German language in the word-formation, specifically the issue of composite. The main part is devoted to the word-formation of both languages possibilities of vocabulary enrichment are given, important terms of the word-formation are defined and word forming kinds are introduced. It is further processed the theory of composite concepts from different authors. The aim of this work is to demonstrate that in German language appear significantly more composites than sketched options of their Czech equivalents and create a list of Czech equivalent structures. As the basis for this analysis are used texts from the field of hotel industry and tourism in Austria, which are available online on the websites of tourist portals (www.oberoesterreich.at and www.niederoesterreich.at).
Analyzing measured data in MATLAB
Loup, Martin ; Pazdera, Ivo (referee) ; Huták, Petr (advisor)
Analysis of the measured data is an integral part of each measurement. The focus of this bachelor's thesis was to facilitate the processing of results of measurements. Therefore an application was created that can retrieve the data from the file and further analyze them. The application is thus able to create a variety of graphical dependencies, to calculate a new variable from the loaded values, save all variables, to determine the basic parameters of the signal or convert a signal to another signal type.
