Error correction of pronunciation of Czech students in German lessons

TITLE: Error correction of pronunciation of Czech students in German lessons ABSTRACT: This master thesis deals with error correction of pronunciation of Czech students in German lessons. Theoretical part of this thesis explains the importance of phonetics in German lessons, first the term error is defined in general sense and then the thesis focuses on pronunciation errors of Czech speakers. The thesis also deals with methods of pronunciation correction, question what is considered as an error in the field of phonetics and also reflects the error tolerance of teachers while correcting the pronunciation errors. The practical part of the thesis introduces a phonetic experiment that was conducted at elementary and secondary schools in Prague. On the basis of the evaluation of phonetic questionnaires and analysis of the inspections in the classes, the thesis comes to the conclusion about the tolerance threshold of teachers while correcting pronunciation errors of Czech speakers. Předmětem předkládané práce jsou územní změny v obcích, jeden z neprávem poněkud opomíjených feno-ménů první republiky. Přitom se jednalo o jev v této době v českých zemích velice rozšířený, ba mohli bychom říci masový. I když počty realizovaných sloučení, rozloučení a změn obvodů obcí v prvním desetiletí existence samostatného československého státu jdou do stovek a dokonce se blíží až k magické tisícovce, nebyla jim do-sud věnována patřičná pozornost. Právě tato okolnost vedla k výběru tohoto tématu, které zároveň tvoří samo-statnou kapitolu našich správních dějin. Šlo o procesy společností ostře sledované, jež se tu více tu méně promít-ly do života téměř každého obyvatele obce, která takovou změnou prošla. Ale i tam, kde zůstalo pouze u žádosti, měl zahájený proces po nějaký čas značný vliv na život v obci a také na vzájemné vztahy se sousedním celkem či celky, jež měla požadovaná změna "zasáhnout". Už samotným podáním podnětu ke změně se mnohdy napros-to bezproblémové soužití lidí žijících vedle sebe v těsné blízkosti na relativně malém prostoru, ale nezřídka na katastrech dvou různých obcí, změnilo ze dne na den v rivalství, odpor, nevraživost až nenávist. Tyto negativní důsledky úspěšně i neúspěšně proběhnuvších kauz územních změn se často projevovaly ještě několik let poté. Na první pohled v sobě...

PPP Projects in Health Care

The subject of this diploma thesis is PPP projects in healthcare. The thesis is focused on assessment of relevance of PPP projects securing public services in the healthcare sector in the Czech Republic. It is intended to assess whether PPP projects are a suitable instrument for securing public services in the healthcare sector and if so, under what conditions and to what extent. The first part of this thesis inquires into the definition of public private partnership and PPP projects in a strict sense and describes individual types of PPP projects. Second part defines in more detail the legal and institutional framework for implementation of PPP projects and discusses the current status of PPP projects in the Czech Republic. Third part analyses in detail the assessment instruments for PPP and guidelines for such assessment concerning projects in healthcare. Fourth part is focused on analysis of implementation of PPP projects abroad and fifth part evaluates PPP projects in healthcare implemented in the Czech Republic. Sixth part reviews this actual experience and findings concerning PPP projects in healthcare. The conclusion summarises results of the assessment.

Multiparametric segmentation of MR images

The aim of the thesis was familiarity of segmentation methods for automatic segmentation of MR images, using multiparametrical display. The theoretical part focuses on the description of methods of segmentation techniques. In the practical part are implemented K-means and level-set method. The methods are tested on the images of the brain obtained by different sequences (T1, T1c, T2, FLAIR). Segmentation methods are implemented in the program MATLAB. Implemented segmentation accuracy is demonstrated on data which there are reports reference results. Evaluation methods is performed using different classifiers decision. The K-means method is tested different metrics and different combinations of the input image. Finally, both methods are compared with one another and visually evaluated against the reference image.

Developement projects in Usti Region

The diploma thesis focuses on the Usti Region in terms of development projects which have been implemented. The irst part explains the basic definitions related to the development projects, includes the theoretical basis of the developement projects management, which is a defining element of it´s success and describes characteristic of non profit organizations. Usti Region has very specific economy and other characteristics, that´s why the detail analysis is part of the practical chapter and gives us general overview to the situation in the region. The interest in the development is progressive in time, that´s why the analysis of completed projects in Oparno Mill is included in the thesis. It aims to assess whether the projects were implemented correctly and their influences are positive for the territory. We work with hypotheses that were confirmed. We can conclude that human resources have an impact on the region development and also the n-goverment non profit organizations may contribute to the development of the territory with limited resources.

Specificitions of human resource management in the middle size company

The Master's Thesis engages the processes of education, hiring, choice and adaptation of new employees in a middle size company. Human resources activities, which are necessary for the practical part, are introduced in theoretical part of the thesis. Organisation, where has research been made is introduced in the practical part. Research has been made by a questionnaires, individual interview and mystery shopping. The methods of the mystery shopping and questionnaires were used twice in the thesis, once for research before the education project from EU funds and for second time after it. Main task to reach the goal of the thesis is the comparison of results from both researches. There is a recommendation for improvements of the education processes in the company. This recommendation should be a basement for set-up a new education system in the company.

Analysis of projects implemented within ROP Central Bohemia in the municipality Rožmitál pod Třemšínem the programming periods 2004-2006 and 2007-2013

This thesis focuses on the regional development of the territory, with particular emphasis on the development of the village Czech Republic. It provides a comprehensive view of the theoretical basis of regional development and regional policy of the European Union, including in particular its application to the territory. The thesis analyzes programs that have been co-financed by the European Union under the regional operational programs in the programming periods 2004-006 and 2007-2013. Then it evaluates each programming period and summarizes their impact on community development. To complete the development of the work is completed by a SWOT analysis of the village, where they outlined the strengths and weaknesses of the territorial unit, including possible development opportunities and threats.

The influence of elderly care for dependent senior to the relationsships among family members

This paper deals with the relationships between family members in a later stage of the family life-cycle, parents have lost their full self-sufficiency. Adult children support their parents, interaction is frequent and this situation often leads to relocation. The basic question of this study is how these circumstances affects a relations between family members and especially intergenerational relationships between adult children and their parents. The paper is mainly based on the concept of ambivalence and the model of intergenerational solidarity. The research conducted in Czech Republic is a further important background. Data from the research titled "Family Cohesion in the Elderly Care" are analyzed. This research is implemented under the guidance of Prof. PhDr.Hynek Jerabek, CSc. and has a qualitative and quantitative part. Author uses the concepts such as conflict, ambivalence and affectual solidarity to describe intergenerational relationships. The conclusion is that intergenerational relationships in families are characterized by a very strong emotional bond, although high degree of conflict and negative emotion also appeared.

Postoj obyvatel České republiky k finanční podpoře neziskových organizací poskytujících sociální služby

This diploma thesis is focused on the Czech citizen attitude to the issue of donation and is aimed at finantial support of non for profit organizations providing social services. It deals with understanding preferences and behavior of donors. To achieve the goal the author uses a questionnaire survey conducted on sample of 500 respondents. The data for quantitative survey were collected from March to April 2015. The qualitive survey was done through the with in-depth interviews (n = 22), data was collected from April to August 2014. The survey results allowed to formulate recommendations for non for profit organizations providing social services.
