Energy demands of localization algorithms
Maňák, Jiří ; Červenka, Vladimír (referee) ; Morávek, Patrik (advisor)
This masters thesis deals with technics of localization for wireless senzor networks with a focus on anchor free location algorithm by authors G. Jianquan and Z. Wei. It also describes the available simulations frameworks based on OMNeT++ platform and implementation of the anchor free algorithm in the simulation program Castalia. Furthermore, it deals with the energy demands of this algorithm based on results of simulations that were done for the communication unit IRIS.
Analysis of multicast protocols of wirelles sensor network
Krajíček, Tomáš ; Červenka, Vladimír (referee) ; Koutný, Martin (advisor)
This work deals with the issue of multicast traffic over ZigBee wireless network and implementation of corresponding protocols in to MATLAB background, further with realisation of multicast data transmission, consequential energy performance evaluation and comparation of particular protocols.
Energy Optimization and Operation of Public Lighting
Houdek, Michal ; Škoda, Jan (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
An objektive of this university graduation work is an essay about any possibilities for energy savings with operation optimalization of public lightings. Understandings and introduction operation problems of public lighting is devote in first part of this work. Here we can chapters as Importance of public lightings or Gulations and norms in ralation to public lightings. The bigist and special attention is concentrated to description to public lightings systems and it is basic components. Another main part of this work is demonstration of used systems that are leading to energy savings for public lightings. These problems are detailed and explained in chapter Regulation of public lighting systems. This graduation work is describing individual types of regulation with the systems that are used with these regulatios in systems of public lightings. The assignment of last part of graduation work was to make sample calculation of energy demand and calculatin of yearly consumption on exemplary temporary system of public lightings. For this occasion was extra special auxiliary application sytem set up inside the Microsoft Excel program where all individual calculations were done.
Energy self sufficient house
Hrncsjarová, Hana ; Talanda, Tomáš (referee) ; Chovancová, Michaela (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with the issue of energy self-sufficient houses. The search of requirements and technical applications usable in the design of energy self sufficient house is presented. There are some of the legislation relating to the issue too. Thesis includes also the examples of implemented projects in the Czech Republic and the design of modifications of the particular house for the possible energy self-sufficiency.
Wind energy
Král, Ondřej ; Brázdil, Marian (referee) ; Kracík, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis discuss wind energy sector. The first chapter focuses on basic construction types of wind power plants, their classification and description of the main parts. Basic physical principles by which electrical energy is produced, presents the next section, which deals with the lifetime of wind turbines, too. The final chapter describes the development of wind power in history, wind energy is here compared with other energy sources, and finally it is dedicated to matter of wind turbines’ energy payback.
Real consumption of primary energy of plug-in hybrid and electric cars
Bochníček, Ondřej ; Pokorný, Jan (referee) ; Fišer, Jan (advisor)
The topic of bachelor thesis is to evaluate a consumption of primary energy in electric cars and plug-in hybrids depending on the place of the operation and also to compare a particular representative with similar classic cars with combustion engine. Another criterion used for evaluation is the emission of carbon dioxide for one driven kilometer. For the consumption of primary energy in electric cars and plug-in hybrids is essential to know how is the electricity produced in the chosen area. With the energy mix of each state, characteristics of given ways of producing electricity and consumptions of selected cars the consumption of primary energy of selected cars and emission of carbon dioxide for one driven kilometer were determined. From the computed data results, that the lowest energy consumption have the electric cars driven in countries with dominant representation of renewable energy sources. Conversely the worst conditions are in the countries with high part of fossil fuels in electricity production. From the comparison of single electric cars and plug-in hybrids with classic cars results that electric cars or plug-in hybrids are at the time of writing this thesis practically in all cases more energy efficient and also produce less emission of carbon dioxide.
Energy performance of block of flats
Jakeš, Martin ; Fišer, Jan (referee) ; Hejčík, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis was created for comparing energy performance of common slab block before energy saving reconstruction and after it. Five floors slab blocks are situated into slab block estate. During reconstruction all wooden windows were changed to plastic-framed windows. Walls were insulated by using polystyrene foam boards. The bachelor thesis is divided into several parts. Through the thesis general requirement of minimizing of energy consumption is performed by standardized calculation. Consequently is possible to compare energy consumption before energy saving reconstruction and after it.
Energy self-sufficiency residential units
Orlová, Lenka ; Škorpík, Adam (referee) ; Výskala, Miloslav (advisor)
This Bachelor’s thesis deals with the special community way of living in the residential unit called cohousing. The aim of the practical part is to define the possibillities of the heat and electrical supply to the cohousing by the renewable energy, make a price calculation and specify the return of the investment.
Calculation of Energy Performance of Buildings
Hartman, František ; Maurerová, Lenka (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis in the first part deals with changes of energy assessment of the building by introducing decree 78/2013 and compares it with the previous decree 148/2007. In the next part are specified energy systems entering the calculations and individual computing procedures for determining the energy requirements for individual HVAC systems. In the last part is calculation of the energy performance of the building. As an evaluation mechanism was chosen, the energy performance certificate. There were dealt different variants of calculations in terms of data input. The results are shown in the comparative charts and diagrams.
Analysis of Possibilities and Implementation of Grant Programms to Achieve Higher Energy Standard in Construction
Šíma, Zbyněk ; Hromádka, Vít (referee) ; Chovancová, Jitka (advisor)
The work addresses the issue of low-energy construction in the Czech Republic and mapping programs that are offered by the state and the European Union, designed to improve the technical and economic performance of buildings. This work also addresses the impact that these subsidy programs can have on the economic situation and the environment. The output will be treated overview of these capabilities in a simple table.
