Remote control of low voltage motor circuit - breaker
Brtnický, Jiří ; Musil, Vladislav (referee) ; ABB, Stanislav Korčián, (advisor)
The master´s thesis describes the design of the remote control, which is used as accessories for motor circuit-breaker. The work is based on the concept of control realized in the bachelor´s thesis. Master’s thesis contains a literature review of management method stepper motors with integrated circuits. standards relating to the control and switching low voltage devices were rehearsed. It was compiled schema of an entire unit after designing optimal control section of a stepper motor with integrated circuits, which consists of four parts (power supply, power section for driving an coils of stepper motor, control section and section for driving external devices). Design and realization of PCB are based on compiled schema, PCB was mounted with components and final PCB was recovered. The last part of thesis is about verification a functionality with using measurement of a prototype parameters.
Control Unit for Autonomous Vacuum Cleaner
Matějů, Jan ; Kopečný, Lukáš (referee) ; Žalud, Luděk (advisor)
This paper is in introduction focused on review of robotic vacuum cleaning and evaluation of available products qualities. However the main focus of this paper is system design of all subsystems, control systems and PCD design of robot electronics. In this paper is also described a method for evaluating approximate distance of robot from the obstacle. There are also described problems of system design of IR proximity sensors. The last part of this work is development of control software for robot and its testing.
Creation of network drivers for the Windows family of operating systems
Krkoš, Radko ; Hošek, Jiří (referee) ; Růčka, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis describes the approach in designing and implementing a driver marking network traffic for quality of service provision. In the beginning distinct technologies usable for the driver development are discussed and compared to each other while the most suiting candidate is chosen for driver development. Next the thesis discusses the design of the driver according to specification and depicts a list of more specific requirements affecting the driver design itself. The focus point in design is the least possible impact on network traffic performance and the running system itself. In addition to the driver an application programming interface usable from user mode is designed and so the system as a whole ensures the marking of network traffic entirely. In the end the created driver architecture is described and the application programming interface is described in terms of use.
DC/DC converter
Němec, Martin ; Kuzdas, Jan (referee) ; Procházka, Petr (advisor)
This project deals with transistorized converters in particular a four-quadrant bridge. The main part of project discusses the drivers of transistors and a possible way of controlling a converter. The proposal of control electronics and the regulation structure are involved in the second part. This project also includes a construction of an apparatus which will be used as a teaching material.
Wireless thermostat
Králíček, Martin ; Viščor, Ivo (referee) ; Kincl, Zdeněk (advisor)
The Master’s thesis discusses wireless thermostat for a control boiler. In order to complete the project we have to design and realise the whole project with software design. The system contains two units, a master control and a measurement of regulation units. The project initially talks about regulation of heating systems for family houses and larger buildings like schools and stores for example. Next, the project describes the control and regulation units and their potential extension for effective and economical operation. Both units are equipped with microcontrollers, which these control each of function. The communication between both units is provided by wireless interface in free radio band ISM. There is a user interface for the master control unit’s regulation process. The measurement and regulation unit has only the possibility to switch between manual and automatic control for regulation of heating system.
Class D audio amplifier for active loudspeakers
Cupák, Jan ; Punčochář, Josef (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with design of D class audio final amplifier, which was output power 400 W for 4 ? load impedance. Designed audio amplifier is specifical for active speaker, which consists of satelite speakers and subwoofer. Further more it deals also with other functional blocks, e.g. balanced input preamplifier, active crossover and protection for safety running. Outcome of this work are schemes of each functional blocks of D class audio amplifier, whose functionality was verified by simulation. Thesis also contains full reference material including mechanical arrangement of functional blocks on printed connection board. The conclusion contains the measured parameters of function blocks of produced prototype and complete photographic documentation.
Development of cell sorter system using optical tweezers and microfluid chips
Novák, Pavel ; Šerý,, Mojmír (referee) ; Zemánek,, Pavel (advisor)
In this master thesis I have been dealt with the design and construction of an instrumental platform that used positioning focused laser beam (so-called optical tweezers) for manipulation with living cells without their damage.
Industrial state indicator
Růžička, Zdenek ; Štohl, Radek (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
Diploma work deals with industrial display systems, indicators and their proposal. These systems are used everywhere that is necessary to mediate transmission of information. Own proposal of indicator is very specific and depends on given application and used display. In practice there is possible to use a few types of displays but in this diploma work there are used only sedmisegmental and matrix. Common component of proposal is microcontroller. No less significat and important part of the proposal is a choice of interface and communication protocol. The correct choice of hardware that is completed with software we will obtain complete status indicator.
Audio speaker system with baffle made from alternative materials
Hüttl, Ondřej ; Schimmel, Jiří (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis firstly consists of an analysis and a description of materials suitable for construction of loudspeaker enclosures and a design of the loudspeaker system with the enclosure made of a synthetic stone. Electro – acoustics drivers have been described with a focus to a frequency range, a principle and a construction for an explanation of their function. Drivers based on electrodynamic principle have been described closely. An analysis of materials used for the loudspeaker enclosure production has been done and tradicional and alternative materials have been described as well. Specific modulus, density and stiffness have been taken as an objective evaluative criterion. An evaluation indicates appropriate properties of plastic, aluminum and stone based materials. The function and kinds of loudspeaker enclosures have been described. The function, properties and design of a vented box loudspeaker system have been described closely. The last part of this thesis is individual design of a two-way vented box loudspeaker system with the enclosure made of synthetic stone. A simulation of a driver behavior built in the enclosure and compensation circuits and crossovers design and simulation have been done. The enclosure has been designed with high stress to minimize negative effect of the enclosure to the final sound quality.
Semiconductor laser driver for 1Gbit/s
Chlachula, Filip ; Křivák, Petr (referee) ; Prokeš, Aleš (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with a solution of the driving circuits of semiconductor laser. In the beginning of the thesis there is an analysis of semiconductor lasers and its characteristics. Then the principle of laser diodes and its excitation is described. This thesis is focused on semiconductor laser excitation through the use of direct and modulating current. Several circuits are described, designed and simulated. The best resulting circuit is realized and measured in the laboratory.
