Parallel Computer Systems Based on Numerical Integrations
Kraus, Michal ; Kubátová, Hana (referee) ; Kollár,, Ján (referee) ; Kunovský, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with continuous system simulation. The systems can be described by system of differential equations or block diagram. Differential equations are usually solved by numerical methods that are integrated into simulation software such as Matlab, Maple or TKSL. Taylor series method has been used for numerical solutions of differential equations. The presented method has been proved to be both very accurate and fast and also procesed in parallel systems. The aim of the thesis is to design, implement and compare a few versions of the parallel system.
Design of hybrid computer for modelling of dynamic systems
Rujzl, Miroslav
This paper deals with the design of an analog computer with digitally controlled components for the simulation of linear and nonlinear dynamic systems or for the study of transfer functions of electronic filter or oscillator topologies. The device should allow partial adjustment using a standard computer and also record the measured results in digital form.
Design of Gm-C integrator for asynchronous delta-sigma modulators
Kekelák, Miroslav ; Prokop, Roman (referee) ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (advisor)
This thesis deals with the study of the design of Gm-C integrators suitable for asynchronous delta-sigma modulators. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the principle of synchronous and asynchronous delta-sigma modulators. A separate chapter is devoted to integrators used in Delta-sigma modulators. Another separate chapter is devoted to transconductors and linearization problems. In the practical part, selected circuits were implemented in I3T80 technology and verified in Spectre simulator.
Design of basic analogue building blocks with fractional-order transfer
Theumer, Radek ; Staněk, Miroslav (referee) ; Langhammer, Lukáš (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on design of the analogue circuit structures with integer-order and fractional-order transfer. The ways in which fractional-order transfer functions can be achieved are mentioned in the introduction. Two basic building blocks with the ability to control its transfer function order and frequency, such as integrator and differentiator respectively, were designed. A non-traditional active element was used in proposed analogue building blocks. In addition, the inner structure of this active element has been improved to provide the ability to control another suitable parameters. Aplication of the proposed fractional-order integrators is presented by employing into the frequency filter. Simulations are performed with help of transistor-level models of two different technologies: CMOS TSMC 0,18 um in the OrCAD Pspice software and I3T25 in the CADENCE Virtuoso software too. All proposed circuit structures are realized on the printed circuit board (PCB) and then measured experimentally. The last part is focused on comparative measurements of the filters with fractional-order integrator proposed by another author.
Hardware Realization of Higher Order Numerical Integrator
Matečný, František ; Veigend, Petr (referee) ; Šátek, Václav (advisor)
This work describes numerical integration and solution for ordinary differential equations by the Taylor series by different types of integrators. The next part is a description of floating point and fixed point arithmetic. Subsequently, we are presenting designs and calculation methods for parallels multiplication and division integrators in floating point and fixed point arithmetic. The designs were realized in VHDL and implemented on FPGA. Finally we summarizes the proposed solution and compare time complexity with another numerical methods.
Triangular and square wave generators based on multi-terminal active elements and their application in PWM
Šterc, Filip ; Domanský, Ondřej (referee) ; Šotner, Roman (advisor)
This paper deals with design of new solutions of the triangular and square wave generator and their application for pulse width modulation (PWM). The proposed circuitries employs modern active multi-terminal elements e.g. Current Follower Differential Input Transconductance Amplifier (CFDITA) or Universal Voltage Conveyor (UVC). These designs suppose an electronic adjustment of parameters (repeating frequency, duty cycle).
Multiple Integral Effective Computations
Iša, Radek ; Veigend, Petr (referee) ; Šátek, Václav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design system for multiple integrals for diferential expression with space variables. Today, integration is one of engineering problems. Reader is acquainted with different method of integration, then with numerican integration and Taylor series. The practical aim of this work is to design software and hardware system of numerican integration multiple integrals.
