Cohesion policy of the European Union focussed on the Czech republic

This thesis deals with cohesion policy in programming period 2007-2013. There are sources of regional development and targets of the European Union and Czech republic defined in the first part of the thesis. In the second part the allocation for Czech republic is compared with the allocations of the other member states of European Union and up to now drawing from structural funds/Cohesion fund is being evaluated. in the 17 operational programmes. The last chapter is focussed on impediments to a successful drawing.

The Integrated Urban Development Plans on the example of Usti nad Labem

The content of this thesis is the analysis of the Integrated Urban Development Plans in the Czech Republic, which is then particulary demonstrated on the example of Ustí nad Labem. The regional capital has now initiated the creation of three Integrated Urban Development Plans, two of them have a zone character -- IUDP Center and IUDP Nestemice -- Mojzir settlement, and one with a thematic orientation on the transportation -- IUDP Mobility. In the theoretical part is the urban dimension of Cohesion Policy discussed, followed by its form and metodology in the Czech Republic. The specific IUDPs of Usti nad Labem are subsequently summarized in the practical part which is focused on the application of the documents, the evaluation of the actual interconnection of projects and find new starting points for the next programming period

Regional Policy of European Union

Annotation: A fundamental progress of Regional Policy of the European Union is described in this dissertation. The dissertation is devided into individual chapters which deal with the historical summary, the concept of Regional Policy and the programming period which starts in 1957 and finishes with the current period 2007-2013. The aim is to elaborate the output as a methodical material which will be clearly organized as the content regards. The text can be also used as an aid while studying Regional Policy of the European Union. The programming period of Regional Policy of the European Union 2007-2013 is analysed in the depth study. The dissertation processing is based on studying of extensive sources. The information and data were used as a foundation for the topic processing. Specialized literature was the mentioned source. This literature concerns with the given topic, statistical data, specific documents which refer to the European Community and its Orders. This data are available in the electronic form. Therefore the data and information are borrowed from the Internet portal of the European Union. Heuristic methods in the Internet background were used in the dissertation. The dissertation also uses the analysis of the sources, the information, the comparative method which compares the data for the particular regions and the programming period.

Cohesion policy and its influences on North-East cohesion region

This work describes cohesion policy on three levels: cohesion policy of EU, of Czech republic and of North-East cohesion region. The first chapter is about cohesion policy in EU. It contains information about legal and programming documents and about development of cohesion policy. The second chapter describes cohesion policy in the Czech republic. It deals with documents, programs and authorities. The third chapter is about cohesion policy in the North-East cohesion region. It characterizes situation in the region, operational programs and concrete projects.

Regionální politika Evropské unie je v současné době velmi diskutovaným tématem. Různé subjekty v České republice mají již přes tři roky příležitost získávat finanční prostředky ze strukturálních fondů EU. Záměrem práce je podat přehled a analyzovat regionální politiku, vymezit její nástroje a zabývat se její obecnou podstatou. Dalším cílem je ukázat na konkrétním projektu z praxe, jak postupovat při zpracovávání odborných studií - Studie proveditelnosti a Analýzy nákladů a přínosů, které jsou ve většině případů povinnou přílohou investičních projektů spolufinancovaných Evropskou unií.

Diplomová práce analyzuje činnosti Místní akční skupiny Jemnicko, o.p.s. Teoretická část práce obsahuje základní, zákonem upravené, formy spolupráce obcí a také jejich praktické příklady v praxi. Text uvádí problematiku financování místních akčních skupin na národní a evropské úrovni. Praktická část analyzuje investiční a neinvestiční projekty, které zrealizovala MAS Jemnicko, o.p.s. v minulých letech. Analýzy hodnotily její úspěšnost v získávání finančních prostředků, využitelnost a obsazenost jednotlivých projektů a byly doplněny o výsledky dotazníkového šetření.

Práce pojednává o veřejných výdajových programech v rámci politiky soudržnosti Evropské unie. Jsou zde popsány základní pojmy regionální politiky jako takové, principy fungování politiky soudržnosti, včetně jejích specifik ve Velké Británii a České republice. Taktéž je zde obsažen popis komunikační strategie strukturálních fondů a komunikační nástroje. Je zde popsán postup sestavování, výběru a hodnocení projektových žádostí. Praktická práce zjišťuje a hodnotí zkušenosti organizací ve veřejném sektoru s činostmi souvisejícími s procesem získávání finanční podpory ze strukturálních fondů.
