Human Resources Management in Specific Family Business

Benefits of this thesis are comprehensive mapping of the current situation in the selected family business and creation of consequent proposals for those human resources activities, where improvement, modification, specification or variation would be suitable. Especially after generational change in family business, proposals of this thesis can become a topic for further consideration and basis for the successor activity in the area of human resources management.

This thesis engages in the analysis of personnel work at Prague City Apartments, Ltd. Its aim is to examine the personnel activities that are performed in the organization and suggest recommendations to increase their effectiveness. The intention is to identify the main weaknesses of the system and propose possible solutions. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part includes the definition and explanation of the key human resources activities that currently take place in the enterprise; the practical part examines these activities and interprets them. To meet the objectives of the work various methods were used, including examining internal company documents, observation, conducting interviews, questionnaires and a summarizing SWOT analysis. The study indicates that human resources activities exist in the company and have a lot of positive aspects; however, there are several deficiencies that need to be corrected and improvements to be made in order to increase the effectiveness of the personnel work and therefore overall performance of Prague City Apartments, Ltd.
Analysis of the Personnel Work in an IT Company

The aim of this thesis is to analyze personnel work and find the pros and cons in the company - Trask solutions a.s., Czech consulting and technology company that helps clients use information technology in an effective way. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes selected personnel actions like employee selection, hiring, adaptation, evaluation, compensation, and employee training. The practical part analyzes human resource activities and compares theoretical knowledge with practice of IT and on the basis of acquired findings, proposes alternative solutions.

The thesis deals with the education and development of employees in the company providing logistics services. The company wished to remain anonymous, and therefore for the purposes of the thesis entitled NOVACS. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical section contains basic definitions of concepts, relationships and connections related to the issue of education and staff development. The methodology used in the theoretical part includes an analysis of available literature and supplementary documents. Practical content is an analysis of staff education and development in the department of informational technologies of the company NOVACS. The practical facts are compared with findings in the theoretical part. The system of education and staff development at NOVACS is examined and assessed from the perspective of senior manager of IT department, whose job performance in the field of education and staff training and development is analyzed too. The result of the thesis are identified strengths and weaknesses of the education and development of employees in NOVACS, and the related advices and recommendations to improve the system by the author of the thesis.

This thesis focuses on the topic of human resources management in a small business. The goal of the thesis is to analyze human resources management in a small business PAT, show their strengths and weaknesses and eventually suggest some corrective steps. In the theoretical part after the terms human resources management and small business are defined, the differences between human resources management in a small and in a large business are described as well as individual human resources activities and their specifics in a small business. In the practical part of the thesis the concept of human resources management and of human resources activities of the chosen business PAT is analyzed. The thesis is based on scientific literature, company documentation, interviews with the employees and personal experience of the author.

This paper is focused on analysis of the most important human resources activities in company Lázně Poděbrady, a.s. Particularly it concerns the following activities:creation and analysis of working positions, obtaining and choosing of employees, accepting and adjustment of employees, evaluation and education the employees, rewarding them, and welfare of employees. The aim of this paper is to explore and assess the key human resources activities at chosen company, compare the investigated results with theoretical knowledges and eventually suggest solutions, recommendations or changes of current system in accordance with the best practices and trends. The paper is divided into two parts. The teoretical part summarises the main contemporary conceptions in this fiels and functions of human resources department, there are briefly characterized selected human resources activities. The second, practical, part compares and evaluates human resources activities applied in analyzed organization with theoretical knowledges. Further there are presented the observation and recommendation for development and improvement of human resources activities.

The objective of this bachelor paper is to analyze human resources activities of a family company GRUND Inc. with the help of observation and questioning. The aim is to learn the way in which the individual activities of the company are performed, what the conventional procedures in solving particular situations related to human resources work are, and if it is possible to make all the branch of human resources more effective.

Aim of this bachelor thesis is to make analysis of human resources activities in company SPG Czech,s.r.o. which produces machines. Thesis is divided in theoretical and practical part. In theoretical part human resources activities are described: work analysis, obtaining and choosing of employees, accepting and adjustment of employees, managing the job performance and evaluating the employees, education and formation of the employees, rewarding of the employees and care of the employees. Based on interview with personnel manager and gained internal documents, in practical part there is mentioned how the company performs each human resources activities. Finally, possible recommendations are suggested which should lead to improving quality of human resources management in the company.
