Rate of narratives development in school age individuals with dysarthria
This diploma thesis deals, in the theoretical part, with the application of social assessment methods on the public projects decision making - particularly the multicriterial analysis. In the empirical part, it deals especially with the effects of capacity traffic communications impacts on environment. The multicriterial analysis is applied on the assessment of two motorway R35 options in the corridor between Turnov and Úlibice and discusses the results of the MCA comparing them with the official supplement document "Doplnění dokumentace Posouzení vlivů konceptu Územního plánu velkého územního celku Libereckého kraje na životní prostředí o porovnání koridorů silnice R35 v úseku Úlibice - Turnov dle zákona č. 244/1992 Sb. (The environmental impacts assessment of the Territory plan of higher territory Liberecký kraj comparing the R35 corridors between Úlibice - Turnov in compliance with the Act 244/1992)." Finally, the main factors affecting the MCA results in the sensitivity analysis are discussed.

Project Draft Business Intelligence
Šídlo, Petr ; Jelínek, Jiří (advisor) ; Novotný, Jan (referee)
This dissertation titled Designing Project Business Intelligence focuses on data warehouse in a medium-sized company. The theoretical portion of the thesis describes the topic of data warehouse and dimensional modeling. In the first theoretical chapter, I compare and contrast two approaches to datawarehouse building - Bill Inmon's and Ralph Kimball's. Then, basic terminology used in the field, principles of dimensional modeling and various approaches of database use will be described. Furthermore, the thesis illustrates the role of the Mondrian system as a mediator between the relational database and the OLAP server. Possible uses of the MDX language in working with multidimensional databases are outlined. The theoretical portion of the thesis ends with a description of the applicational interface XMLA, which can be used for facilitation communication between applications and the OLAP server. The practice-oriented portion of the thesis includes a complete design of the Business Intelligence project. The project is divided into the following parts: Feasibility Study, Project Planing, Business Requirements, Design and Development, and Deployment and Maintenance. The entire project operates exclusively on Open Source Software. Consequently, the project shows that small and medium-sized companies can afford to run a fully operating Business Intelligence system.

Collaborative vector editor
Šimonovský, Martin ; Bureš, Tomáš (referee) ; Kofroň, Jan (advisor)
The work describes GChat, a multi-platform collaborative vector editor specialised in diagram creation. GChat is a real-time (synchronous) system, which allows its users to work on the same document in the same time while immediately seeing other users' changes. The application is based on the shared document replication principle and uses Jabber protocol for communication. Among others, consistency and intention maintenance methods are described. Furthermore, distributed undo and redo operations are presented, including a rather novel selective mode. In its rst part, this work also tries to summarise both current software products and algorithms in this course of study.

European and Czech principles of contract law
Horáková, Monika ; Černá, Stanislava (advisor) ; Oehm, Jaroslav (referee)
8 Summary European and Czech Principles of Contract Law This thesis is focused on principles of contract law. In the first instance, it explains the theoretical conception of principles of law and adverts to their status in the Czech legal system. The second Chapter of the thesis dissertates about basic principles of the Czech private law starting with the principle of freedom of contract, ends with the principles of good faith and fair dealing. The main part of the thesis deals with the European principles of contract law. A contract is an indispensable instrument of a market economy. There is a close relationship between the European contract law and a proper functioning of the Single European Market. The European Union as an economic community requires harmonisation of private law, mainly the branch of contract law, to eliminate those differences between national laws which are inimical to the efficient cross-border business within Europe. The Commission on European Contract Law, as an independent body of legal experts from all the Member States of the European Union, under the chairmanship of Professor Ole Lando, started the way towards the consolidation of European contract law. It established the Principles of European Contract Law as a response to the need for a Union-wide infrastructure of contract...

Development of Slovak-Hungarian Relations in Context of the Dispute Gabčíkovo-Nagymaros
Tóthová, Tímea ; Cibulková, Petra (advisor) ; Trávníčková, Zuzana (referee)
The thesis deals with the development of Slovak-Hungarian relations from the 50`s on. The need for close cooperation between Czechoslovakia and Hungary emerged during the building of the dam Gabčíkovo-Nagymaros. The period of Kadarism in Hungary and the inauguration of Alexander Dubček into the post of Secretary of Communist Party favoured bilateral plans in Eastern block. Undergoing social and political changes in the 80`s caused politization of the issue in Hungary and different perception by both sides of the Treaty of 16 September 1977. Even after the unilateral execution of the option-C by Slovakia and the International Court of Justice judgement, Slovakia still insists on the implementation of the foundng Treaty. Hungary now seems to be trying to evade this unpleasant question of the past.

Marketing Communication in the International Marketing
Šíšová, Lenka ; Boučková, Jana (advisor) ; Vašková, Dana (referee)
Abstrakt: Marketing communication is one of the most culture-oriented tool of the marketing mix. The companies can use different strategies in the international marketing communication. These strategies must be based on the all-over strategy of the company. The general strategy is divided into particular strategies for divisions and departments of the company (marketing department, sales, production etc.). We observe two main strategies in the international communication of the companies -- globalisation strategy which tries to normalize all marketing communication activities through different countries, whereas the adaptation strategy forces the companies to think locally and act locally. Global company Sara Lee operates at almost all the markets of the world and owns about 80 different brands of food, beverages, body-care and house-care products. In Czech Republic Sara Lee owns a leading brand in tea market -- the Pickwick brand. The Pickwick brand is an international brand because besides Czech Republic it operates also on the other 7 markets in Europe and also in the United States. The tea market in the Czech Republic is very important for Pickwick Brand, because it is one of the markets where Pickwick enjoys the biggest success. The specifics of this market are based not only on the consumer behaviour and preferences, but also on the activities of the competition and also activities of the various sales channels of which the most important are the international retail chains. International communication of the Pickwick brand is based on the marketing strategy approved centrally. The communication strategy, positioning of the brand and tactical steps are decided by the managers of different countries together. We can see either normalisation features or adaptation features in the communication strategy of the Pickwick brand. The examples are the activation of the novelties of the Pickwick brand in Czech Republic or Hungary. Both countries have chosen a different concept of 360° idea, which they worked out in different activations. The Pickwick brand develops in long-term, and nowadays her goal is to strenghten its well-being segment (green, white and herbal teas), because this segment is the most dynamic one. Besides this segment the Pickwick brand could also focus on other, smaller segments such as teas for children. A large number of the products in originally "adult" categories prove that this segment is very interesting and attractive, too. The Pickwick brand has done alrady the ads focused on children, and that's why the brand could follow easily the communication schemes.
