Transformation process in Slovakia - strong and weak sites
Kavčák, Adam ; Klosová, Anna (advisor) ; Konečný, Tomáš (referee)
The work will examine the fundamental transformation process of economic development in Slovakia. It seeks to define the initial stage of the Slovak economy, depending on the political power of the state. Interconnection policy and the economy has significantly affected the direction of the country and therefore the objective of this work is to characterize the development of purely economic, but rather in terms of political and economic. The work deals with the liberalization, privatization and structure of international trade.

Converter for wireless temperature sensing
Řežucha, Tomáš ; Horský, Pavel (referee) ; Kolka, Zdeněk (advisor)
Thesis focuses on design, construction and measurement of wireless power transfer module, which will be used as a feed for wireless temperature sensor in subsequent bachelor’s thesis. An analysis of available solutions on the wireless charging market is performed, which describes its capabilities in terms of the maximum transmit power, the scope of applicability and effectiveness. Further is described an electromagnetic resonant coupling between two inductors and the possibilities of optical data transmission.

Prostředí pro vytváření umělých hráčů Texas Hold'em pokru
Müller, Pavol ; Majerech, Vladan (advisor) ; Hric, Jan (referee)
Hold 'em poker, a card game with incomplete, sometimes even misleading information, is probably going to be mastered by computer programs within a few years. This might be a big issue for the on-line poker gaming industry. In some variations of the Texas hold 'em poker it is already happening. This thesis explores a possibility of creating an automated no-limit tournament player for the less explored and the hardest variation of Texas hold 'em poker from a computer player point of view. Tools and methodology which allows universal and simple automated data extraction from on-line casinos based on optical recognition are going to be created. Automated operations in these casinos and environment for poker intelligence implementation will be included as well. An artificial poker player capable of playing in two casinos will be implemented in this environment to demonstrate its strength and usability. Known poker strategies and ideas are going to be introduced from the point of view of poker robot implementation. At the end, the automated poker player will be confronted in real situations and questions regarding misuse of automated poker players in on-line casinos based on gained experiences and results are going to be answered.

The Role of Furosemide on Intrinsic Optical Signals in Hippocampal slices
Kuta, Igor ; Konopková, Renata (referee) ; Otáhal, Jakub (advisor)
Title of work: The Role of Furosemide on Intrinsic Optical Signals in hippocampal slices Objective: Learn how furosemide affects the internal optical signals in the rat hippocampus. Method: Measurement of IOS on slices of hippocampus in electro DG. detection IOS changes in the application of furosemide. Results: Internal optical signals are dependent on the activation of tissues and exhibit regional differences in hippocampal different layers. The concentration furosemide increases optical response of a tissue. Conclusion: The physiological processes in the nervous tissue are associated with changes in their optical properties. Furosemide in our work increased intrinsic optical signals. The change was more pronounced in dendritic compared with CA3 pyramidal layer. Keywords: hippocampus, an inner optical signals, furosemide, neuroglia, light transmission Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Height Measurement in Digital Image
Olejár, Adam ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Říha, Kamil (advisor)
The aim of this paper is a summary of the theory necessary for a modification, detection of person and the height calculation of the detected person in the image. These information were then used for implementation of the algoritm. The first half reveals teoretical problems and solutions. Shows the basic methods of image preprocessing and discusses the basic concepts of plane and projective geometry and transformations. Then describes the distortion, that brings into the picture imperfections of optical systems of cameras and the possibilities of removing them. Explains HOG algorithm and the actual method of calculating height of person detected in the image. The second half describes algoritm structure and statistical evaluation.

Electronic Communication vs. Communication Face to Face
Pipková, Zuzana ; Krtilová, Kateřina (advisor) ; Bystřický, Jiří (referee)
This thesis deals with new forms of communication particularly electronic ones. The main goal is to distinguish electronic communication from face to face communication in a way that differs from traditional media theories. By using examples of the most important medium in electronic communication, Internet, it is shown that nowadays we have such forms of electronic communication that surpass the traditional classification of oral/written communication, immediate/mediate communication, face to face discourse/computer discourse. Critical views of significant media theorists are presented as well, mainly of Jean Baudrillard, Paul Virilio, Marshall McLuhan and Vilem Flusser which are also related to the best known and used examples of new forms of communication (e-mail, chat, Facebook, Youtube, Skype, blog etc.).

Static model of scene
Sikora, Jan ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
This thesis deal with various methods of background detection and with it related motion detection in a scene. It's progressing from simplest methods to more comlex. For every one are reviewed the possibilities of using and her drawbacks. In introduction are described various types of scenes according to background and foreground type e.g . according to movement objects speed or presence of movement in background. Is proposed several common or specific improvements for obtaining better background even by using simple method. Next part of work solve real situation of shaking camera. There are tested two basic methods for optical stabilization. The first is registration of images by template matching. Alternative method used interest points (corners). Both methods are closely examinate and is sought best way to match following pictures. Except shaking of camera this work deal with rotating camera and in theory solve detection background from cameras placed on ridden car. Part of work is creation database of different types scenes

Support of decision making process in entreprenurship
Procházková, Katarína ; Žebrák, Miroslav (advisor) ; Nábělková, Petra (referee)
This bachelor thesis is about the decision making process in entrepreneurship. Step by step it defines the word as managerial decision making, and knowledge management. These two disciplines is in Business Intelligence, which gives the data into undestandable form. One of the system that uses Business Intelligence is also customer realtionship management. It is a system, which helps to organise the realtionships with customers, collects data and gives very valuable source of information, according to which the company can make the decision about its next steps in business. The second part is about usage of CRM in AIESEC organisation, which uses CRM on everydaybase. The aim of the thesis is to suppose the solution for this CRM so it can be used in the wider role, to support the decision making in AIESEC, and make it more efficient, quick and smooth. There are two suggested options in the thesis. From these chose one, which is according to the criteria more suitable for AIESEC.

Fíla, Lukáš ; Vařacha, František (referee) ; Prokeš, Aleš (advisor)
The work explores ways to generate the OFDM signal and LDPC channel coding methods. Describes the creation of basic modules of the communication system in Matlab and simulation methods for atmospheric transmission environment, including effects of turbulence, attenuation along the route and weather conditions on the transmitted signal.

Teaching aids for fibre optics, optical communication and optoelectronics
Hrbáčková, Petra ; Křivák, Petr (referee) ; Wilfert, Otakar (advisor)
This thesis presents basic characteristics of the optical detectors, transmitters and optical plastic fibres. The basic optoelectronic transfer, principle of transmission, information transfer by the plastic fibre and principle of receiving are described. The practical aspect of the thesis serves as a basic illustration of the logic analogue signal transfer through the fibers by optoelectronics methods.
