Dynamic Kohonen maps and their strusture
Křižka, Radek ; Sýkora, Ondřej (referee) ; Mrázová, Iveta (advisor)
My diploma thesis deals with one of the most widely used model of artificial neural network named self-organizing Kohonen neural network. We can find there a detailed description of several thoroughly analyzed mutually compared models of Kohonen map. We will verify their functionality, robustness and generalisation rates on artificial input data. Their real applicability and properties are tested on real data of traffic accident frequency. We will focus on the detection of significant input data attributes. The possibilities of solving the interesting questions and aspects of road transport are examined by means of Kohonen maps. At the end of the work there is presented a summarized review of the results and there are mentioned possible options of modifications that could improve the properties of these models.

Robustní testy normality a jejich využití při ověřování slabé formy efektivnosti akciového trhu
Střelec, Luboš
Submitted dissertation is focused on methods of robust normality testing and applications of robust tests in verifying hypothesis of the weak form of efficiency in stock markets. In the dissertation, theory of efficient markets and approaches to verifying the weak form of market efficiency and normality assumption are being discussed. Novel robust testing procedures of testing normality are proposed in this work to overcome shortcomings of classical normality tests in the field of financial data, which are typical with occurrence of remote data points and additional types of deviations from normality. Results of power simulation study of classical and robust tests of normality against several types of alternative distributions, i.e. symmetric heavy-tailed, symmetric light-tailed, asymmetric heavy-tailed, asymmetric light-tailed, selected mixtures of normal distributions and outlier models, are presented. Based on outcome of the power simulation study, selected normality tests were consequently used to verify the weak form of efficiency in stock markets in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Germany, Slovakia, United States and Japan during years 2000-2009. In addition to selected classical and robust normality tests, Ljung-Box portmanteau test was also used. In conclusion, there is a discussion and comparison of results carried out and future trends of these markets are outlined.

Complex permittivity measurement of materials at microwave frequencies
Polák, Radek ; Hertl, Ivo (referee) ; Láčík, Jaroslav (advisor)
This article describes some methods of measuring complex permitivity in milimeter – wave band, their characteristics, anvatages and disadvantages. Discused are here the reasons for their use in the construction of work place. On the basis these reasons is chosen the best method for practical measurement. That is cavity resonant method. Article contain description of designed measurement system. Whitch is verified by computer simulating of developed model in HFSS Ansoft. Text contain also result of simulations and execute computing of comlex permittivity and tangent loss. In Conclusion is desribed results of practical permittivity measure with realized measurement system.

Study of the local structure of binary surfaces by electron diffraction (XPS, LEED)
Gereová, Katarína ; Matolín, Vladimír (advisor) ; Pavluch, Jiří (referee)
Study of local structure of binary surface with usage of ultra-thin film of cerium deposited on a Pd (111) single-crystal surface is presented. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and diffraction (XPS, XPD), angle resolved UV photoemission spectroscopy (ARUPS) and low energy electron diffraction (LEED) was used for our investigations. LEED and X-ray excited photoemission intensities results represent a surface-geometrical structure. As well, mapping of ultra-violet photoelectron intensities as a function of emission angles is used for a band mapping and an electronic structure determination.

Materials for Solar Cells Based on Thin Silicon Films
Fekete, Ladislav
Thin lm microcrystalline silicon is the most promising materiál for large area PN junction solar cells. As microcrystalline silicon is a heterogenous material composed of two phases (amorphous silicon tissue from which crystalline grains of micrometric dimension grow). The Raman spectra are commonly used to determine the crystallinity of mixed phase silicon thin lms by analyzing the contributions of amorphous and crystalline phase to TO phonon band. Many dierent empirical or semi-empirical methods of evaluating crystallinity from the Raman spectra exist. In this master's thesis the microcrystalline Raman spectra were studied and a better way of evaluating crystallinity was searched for. The decomposition of the microcrystalline spectra of the series of the samples, where a single deposition parameter was changing,by tting them with Gaussian bands was performed. We also report on the development of a special software for the band decomposition by non-linear least-squares tting based on Marquardt-Levenberg algorithm and demonstrate its use for a series of lms with structure changing from amorphous to fully microcrystalline.

Inovative educational materials in teaching literature at secondary scholl
KLŮSOVÁ, Andrea
This master thesis is focused on education of literature. In theoretical part, it maps spectrum of educational materials for teaching on the second grade of elementary school. In the thesis, the main didactic aspects in 1970s, 1980s and their changes after the year 1989 till the present day are also compared. In these periods, the reading books and used methods are analyzed in detail. The question of obligatory reading is also discussed. In the frame of practical part of the thesis, the set of twenty didactically processes of working sheets for novel education of literature on the second grade of elementary school (for each class five working sheets). These sheets are elaborated in accordance to time-tested, but also innovative methods for work with text. Their aim is to develop the literacy of the readers and communication competence in accordance with educational requirements stated in RVP for elementary education. So, the working sheets offer an inspirational and practically usable source for teachers of literature education. The usability of majority of the working sheets or literature education was also verified in praxis.

Love as a sociological problem (Investment theory of love)
Zandl Eckhardtová, Dita ; Duffková, Jana (referee) ; Šubrt, Jiří (advisor)
The investment theory of love considers love ( or intimacy relationship in general) as being a social exchange phenomenon. The theory uses several already verified theories (ABX-C theory of family adaptation to crisis, scenarios in Berne' s approach and love types defined by Lasswel and Lobsenz. The initial investment depends on level of matching of scenarios and love types. Additional deposits or withdrawals are factors of conversations dealing with crisis or stresses. If the process of reaching an agreement is considered to be positive (by both partners) the investment grows. If the process is negatively percieved, the total sum diminishes. This procesus happens on severals levels: biological (sexual satisfaction), emotional (including sense of fulfillment), social (family, children ... ) and practical. The conversations could be analysed by neurolinguistical programming methods.

Surface free energy of plasma polymers

SMV-2016-22: Investigation of the local microstructure changes of nanolaminate coatings caused by dynamical indentation
Sobota, Jaroslav
The aim of the contracted research was to study the mechanical properties of the coatings deposited on high speed steel substrate. The classification of the coatings was performed using an impact tester our own construction in a dynamic mode and enabled us to predict the behavior of the coating.\n\n
