This bachelor thesis focuses on how physicians perceive the use of telemedicine and information and communication technologies (ICT) in their practice. The work responds to the situation associated with covid-19, which has had an impact on increasing of ICT and telemedicine in healthcare. The aim of this work is also to find out how physicians can strengthen the role of patients in the physician-patient relationship and whether ICT or other digital technologies help them with this. The whole theoretical part is devoted to the relationship between physician and patient, where the shift of medical care from paternalism to consumerism is reflected and the theoretical concepts of patient centered care and patient empowerment are presented. The research data were obtained through semi-structured interviews with 9 physicians who are in regular contact with their patients and have at least minimal experience with the use of ICT in their practice. The interviews were then analyzed using a thematic analysis, which showed that telemedicine and ICT contribute to strengthening the role of patients. Keywords telemedicine, patient centered care, patient empowerment, ICT, self-monitoring, paternalism, consumerism, physician-patient realtionship Title Telemedicine as a means of strengthening the role of patients
Application For Heart Rate Estimation Using Smartphone
Šara, Kryštof
This work deals with estimation of the human heart rate (HR) using a mobile phone camera. The goal was to create a functional application for a smartphone with a real-time HR detection. A preliminary functional algorithm was tested on a sample of 10 independent subjects and a mean deviation of 8.3 beats per minute (BPM), relative to an ECG reference record, was reached. Considering only visibly calm subjects, the mean deviation was 1.5 BPM.

Cílem této bakalářské práce je poskytnout přehled dronů využívaných v oblasti integrovaného záchranného systému a popsat technologie související s těmito drony.
Compression and Quality Assessment of ECG Signals
Patologické signály byly komprimovány s nižší efektivitou a kvalitou než signály fyziologické.

The development of telemedicine in the context of cross-border healthcare services in the European Union: comparative approach France / Czech Republic The role of the European Union, within the context of its support in the field of public health, consists of helping the Member States to achieve the goals defined in the multiannual framework program. Among these goals, telemedicine is a priority of eHealth. Telemedicine is a form of healthcare provided remotely using Information and Communication Technology (ICT). It aims to improve the efficiency of medical care systems faced with the ageing of the European population. This thesis is a study of cross-border telemedicine in the context of cross-border medical care as it is regulated by European Union law. However, the deployment of cross-border telemedicine depends on the competence of the Member States. A comparison between French and Czech legislation, in terms of the implementation of telemedicine in these Member States, reveals different strategies regarding the integration of telemedicine into their healthcare systems. In light of these two significant examples, it will be possible to show how the deployment of telemedicine in domestic law influences its cross-border development. European legislation encourages states to use cross-border...

Accelerometer-based quality estimation and segmentation of ECG signal and compression of high-quality segments
Opravilová, Kamila ; Smital, Lukáš (referee) ; Němcová, Andrea (advisor)
This diploma thesis is devoted to segmentation of ECG signal based on its quality and compression of quality segments suitable for diagnostics (in telemedicine). A completely new approach is to use accelerometer data to estimate ECG signal quality. This is possible thanks to the Bittium Faros mobile recorder. It records both the ECG signal motion – accelerometric data. A total of 34 features were extracted from accelerometric data. Using these features the predictive model was taught to classify the ECG signal into 3 quality groups according to the level of noise. Quality segments were compressed. The wavelet transform in combination with high-frequency bands zeroing and length encoding was used as a compression method.
