Design Optimization of Contact Force Vector Sensor
Vála, Pavel ; Vlach, Radek (referee) ; Krejčí, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this work is an optimalization of vector contact force sensor properties which prototype is at the moment designed. The principle of sensor is based on transformation active part of sensor using three tensiometers and following value indentification of loading force vector using neuron network. Sensor has a bad sensitivity when axis force load or near to axis of sensor. To solve this problem ''MKP'' model of sensor was used on which suitable optimalization method was applicated. From the result of optimalization modificated sensor will be proposed and will be made a utility verification using neuron network.

Slowik, Ondřej ; Pukl, Radomír (referee) ; Novák, Drahomír (advisor)
This thesis presents the reader the importance of optimization and probabilistic assessment of structures for civil engineering problems. Chapter 2 further investigates the combination between previously proposed optimization techniques and probabilistic assessment in the form of optimization constraints. Academic software has been developed for the purposes of demonstrating the effectiveness of the suggested methods and their statistical testing. 3th chapter summarizes the results of testing previously described optimization method (called Aimed Multilevel Sampling), including a comparison with other optimization techniques. In the final part of the thesis, described procedures have been demonstrated on the selected optimization and reliability problems. The methods described in text represents engineering approach to optimization problems and aims to introduce a simple and transparent optimization algorithm, which could serve to the practical engineering purposes.

Optimization of EMI filter Circuitry
Surovec, Vojtěch ; Soldán, Josef (referee) ; Dřínovský, Jiří (advisor)
In introduction of work, I presented the state of the art of measuring insertion loss of the EMI filter and the description of individual methods of measuring is also included. After that I dealt with global optimization methods and some of them I theoretically described. Mainly PSO method was studied carefully, and the principle of optimization in details are presented in the thesis, because this method was used for optimization of the filters parameters in the thesis. Next part of work deals with theoretical and mathematical expression of insertion loss of the EMI filters. Due to the mathematical expression of the insertion loss, the values of parasitic elements of given filter have been optimized in different measuring systems. This optimization was applied on synthetic data. By this step the functionality of optimization was proved and also the fitness function has been tuned and optimised. The last part of thesis works with optimization on measured data of given filters. I found out inaccuracy in mathematical expression of given model of EMI filter, therefore it was necessary to come up with the new filter model. The accuracy increases by using the new filter model. In next step the new model was enlarged by new spurious components.
Optimization methods for inverse problems with energy norm
Hrtus, Rostislav ; Haslinger, Jaroslav ; Blaheta, Radim
The paper deals with the application of the energy norm in the inverse problem which is based on a minimization of a nonlinear least squares function. Three different parameter distribution examples are solved by the steepest descent, nonlinear conjugate gradient and Newton methods. Efficiency comparison is also presented.

Support the Principles of Operation´s Research in TASW Oriented on Road Transport
Habarta, Přemysl ; Gála, Libor (advisor) ; Basl, Josef (referee)
In this contemporary world, when the globalization is on the first place, is possible to satisfy one's needs immediately. Road haulage becomes in last few years a significant market's part, which is necessary to the right function in all branches in the Czech Republic. The aim of this thesis is to analyse level of principle operation's research's support in TASW solution for the society, which is directed at road transport. Simultaneously I project a study, which supports a solution for small shippers, who aren't able or willing to acquire an expensive software for haulage entrepreneurship. I characterize issues of transportation's company to achieve my aim and I think about the principle's uses and method of operation's research in process of haulage entrepreneurship. I analyse a situation of operation's research's support with TASW, which is oriented on haulage entrepreneurship. After that I describe a study, where I project a solution for small shippers, which takes in the consideration the components of operation's research in their processes and TASW and this contributes to make the decision of small shippers easier to buy the suitable software for haulage. This thesis is divided into few parts -- at the begging I theoretically follow up haulage entrepreneurship, its division and kind of current freight. I describe the price creation to make really obvious, which knowledge the shipper have to know. I explain particular disciplines of research's operation, which are connected to make more effective the workings of haulage entrepreneurship. I use these results of the theoretical parts to create my own model of haulage entrepreneurship. I analyse the market's system in the Czech market, which is fixed to support process of haulage entrepreneurship, which applies the principles of operation's research. In conclusion I compare the variants of using different types of IS for transport. The biggest benefit of my thesis I see in that also the laymen can understand it. It makes easier to choose a specialized software for haulage entrepreneurship and the process analyse binding on possibly company's analyse and on field operation's research, which enable more effective delivery.
Application of Methods for Unconstrained Optimization in Computation of Normal Contact Vector
Kopačka, Ján ; Gabriel, Dušan ; Plešek, Jiří ; Ulbin, M.
The stability of the contact algorithm using the penalty method is significantly affected by choosing of the penalty function. The penalty function is defined like a magnitude of the penetration vector multiplied by the users-defined constant - the penalty parameter. The penetration vector is obtained by solution of the minimum distance problem between the node/Gaussian integration point and the segment of the element. For a general quadrilateral contact segment this task leads to the system of two nonlinear equations. It is shown that the popular Newton-Raphson method is inadvisable for this problem. In this paper, alternative methods like quasi-Newton methods, gradient methods and the simplex method are presented. Especial attention is put on the line-search method that is crucial for a general success of quasi-Newton methods as well as gradient methods. All mentioned methods are tested by means of numerical example, which involves bending of two rectangular plates over a cylinder.
Review of methods for local contact search
Kopačka, Ján ; Gabriel, Dušan ; Plešek, Jiří
The local contact search is a numerical procedure of a contact algorithm which is used for computing of a penetration vector between so-called master and slave segments of contact surfaces. There are several approaches. In this paper the minimum distance problem between the master segment and the integration point of the slave segment is used. For quadrilateral elements this approach leads to the system of two nonlinear equations. For its solution several methods was tested (Newton-Raphson method, least square projection, method of steepest descent, Broyden's method, BFGS method, DFP method and simplex method) and efficiency was compared.
Korekční metoda pro nehomogenní magnetické pole
Hadinec, M. ; Bartušek, Karel
In this work, we developed a method, which is used for approximation of basic magnetic field B0 inside a specific spherical volume. The coefficients of spherical function expansion obtained from approximation process can be used for determination of shimming currents which are feeding correction coils of tomograph.
