Historical-geographical aspects of the population development of the town of Dvůr Králové nad Labem

The purpose of my thesis is to analyse with an emphasis on the Industrial Revolution historical-geographical aspects of the population development of the town of Dvůr Králové nad Labem, compared with the development in other cities of the Hradec Králové Region. The study is composed of an introduction explaining my principle objectives and initial hypothesis and also of three chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of this problemacy. Chapter One defines basic terminology and describes historical and geographical character of the studied town and region. The next chapter is subdivided into two parts: the analytical one focuses on relevant reasons to examine differences in the population development and provides a comparison with the chosen periods; the synthetic part divides the population development of the Hradec Králové Region into two zones on the basis of achieved results from the previous parts. Subsequently, it also summarizes main aspects of the population development in the chosen towns and makes a conclusion to indicate future situation. Finally, Chapter Three concentrates on problems resulting from my initial hypothesis and deals with accomplishing of my objectives drawn in the introductory Chapter. The thesis contains a large number of charts, graphical and geographical attachments.

Návrh ochrany drobných vodních ploch a mokřadů bez statutu zvláštní ochrany

Výsledky terénních průzkumů ukazují, jak z naší přírody neustále mizí zbytky remízků, drobných tůní a malých mokřadů. Tyto drobné plochy jsou ohroženější než rozsáhlá území. Nejedná se o chráněné plochy, význačné výskytem zvláště chráněného druhu živočicha či rostliny. Nespadají do soustavy NATURA 2000, ani nemají žádnou jinou ochranu, a tím jsou odsouzeny k postupnému zazemňování a zárůstu náletovými dřevinami. Byl proveden výběr lokalit ve třech vzájemně vzdálených oblastech (Plzeňský kraj, Královéhradecký kraj a Olomoucký kraj) cenných z přírodovědeckého hlediska (tůně, mokřady), které nemají žádný statut ochrany, ale jsou důležité pro udržení biodiverzity . U výběru lokalit byla zohledněna kritéria: lokalita není v NP, CHKO nebo v nevhodné oblasti, poloha v agrární krajině, přítomnost drobné vodní plochy nebo zde tato v minulosti byla a bude možné ji drobným zásahem obnovit, plocha vyžaduje managementový zásah, volný přístup na lokalitu (není oplocena – VP, vodní zdroj, atd.), souhlas majitele. Popis jednotlivých lokalit z hlediska herpetologického, malakologického a botanického a návrh opatření v jednotlivých lokalitách.

The Tourism Development Strategy of Selected Region – Hradec Králové Region

This thesis examines the topic of the management of tourism destinations. The main aim is to summarize the potential of tourism in Hradec Králové region on the basis of the performed analysis and suggest a strategy for further tourism development. The first part deals with basic definitions and theories of destination management and marketing. The second part is devoted to tourism in Hradec Králové Region. It includes an analysis of the key factors of tourism development, an analysis of the current situation of tourism in the region, a SWOT analysis, and possibilities for further tourism development.

Na základě srovnání a vzájemného působení základních krajinných složek - terénu, vody, vegetace a vlivu lidské činnosti byly v území vymezeny základní krajinné typy. Podle zachovalosti typického vzhledu byla vymezena pásma ochrany a obnovy krajinného rázu. Z hlediska prostorového utváření krajiny a převažujících charakteristik bylo řešené území rozděleno na krajinné celky, krajinné prostory a místa krajinného rázu. Pro každou popisovanou entitu jsou uvedeny limity využití území a doporučení (funkce území, plošné a prostorové uspořádaní a priority).

Regional policy instruments in Hradec Králové region

This thesis is written about the regional policy instruments, specifically in Hradec Králové Region. The goal of this study is to evaluate the regional policy instruments in Hradec Králové Region, research the strengths and weaknesses of these instruments and suggest possible improvements in their application. The methods of synthesis and analysis are used in this thesis. The theoretical part of this research deals with the most commonly used system of classification by different authors; furthermore, describes their development and demonstrates their situation in the Czech Republic. In the practical part, socioeconomic profile of Hradec Králové Region is briefly presented; moreover, the instruments applied in the studied region are specified and evaluated, strengths and weaknesses are demonstrated; and lastly, recommendations for future development are presented. The conclusions are summarised in a table for clarity, where strengths and weaknesses and recommendations for each instrument can be found.

Transport in Hradec Kralove and Hradec Kralove Region

The main aim of thesis is to map the traffic conditions in the Hradec Kralove region, especially in Hradec Kralove. The work is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part are explained all the concepts related to traffic issues that occur at work. There are also general (across CR) described the various means of transport, transport subsystems and transport infrastructure. The practical part is focused specifically on transport already in Hradec Kralove and Hradec Kralove region. Part of this section is to outline the possibilities of linking Hradec Kralove with Pardubice by trolleybus connections, including a small survey.

Integrated transport system of the Hradec Králové Region

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to decribe and evaluate the integrated transport system IREDO in the Region of Hradec Králové. The thesis consists of the theoretical part and the practical part. Basic terms and the nature of the integrated transport system are explained in the theoretical part. The practical part is focused on the integrated transport system IREDO, its origins, development, present situation and future. The Evaluation of the system is the most important chapter of this part.
