Relations between anthropometric characteristics and selected delivery parameters in pregnancy Author: Mgr. Martina Syslová Backround: This work searches relations between anthropometric characteristics and selected parameters in pregnancy. It wants to verify known correlation between assessed characteristics and finds new knowledge in the area of anthropometry in pregnancy. Obtained obstetric and anthropometric data are statistically evaluated and they are in context with knowledge from above all foreign studies. Methods: To the study was registered 155 mothers parturient in teaching hospital in Hradec Králové. These datas were recording: name of women, age, blood group, date of childbirth, week of childbirth, childbirth weight (g), childbirth length (cm), sex of newborn, high of mother (cm), weight before pregnancy (kg), weight before childbirth (kg), weight gain (kg), pulse, diastolic and systolic blood preasure, time of 1., 2. and 3. periode, total time of childbirth (minute), weight of placenta (g), blood losses (ml), pH of newborn, apgar score and incidence of ceasarean section. Evaluation and Auto-evaluation - theory, practice, contexts. With specialize in the leadership

The central theme of this thesis is auto-evaluation or self-evaluation of the school. The author discusses this issue in a comprehensive concept and interrelations - from theory to practice. He presents a fixed theoretical foundation, as well as analysis and interpretation of results from field mapping to professionals and practitioners. He offers to schools methodological guidelines for auto-evaluation activities. It also includes analysis of legislative framework, the discussion of the risks associated with auto-evaluation processes and current developments and planned changes (as of May 2011) in this area. Particular attention is devoted to the role of managers in schools in the autoevaluation process and its planning, organization and management. In detail, the author deals with some methods that can be used well in practice. The thesis is based on the current state of auto-evaluation of the Czech primary and secondary schools. It tries to grasp the issue in the broadest view. It also aims to provide schools the seizable platform of evaluation and auto-evaluation. Presented text adds on the topic new views, attitudes and perceptions.

Krajina v pohraničí a její specifika

ABSTRACT Author: Klára Dvořáčková Title of work: The landscape in the borderland and its specifics. The bachelor thesis is focused on the landscape of the borderland in the National Park Podyjí and ongoing international cooperation join venture with the Thayatal National Park. State of the arts is divided into five parts. The landscape of the national park is described in the first section. Especially it is biotic and abiotic nature. The second and the third fundamental components are agriculture and forestry in this area and their effect on the landscape. The fourth and the fifth section describes the water regime of the National Park Podyjí including tourism related to the municipalities of the national park, following by the practical part of the thesis. The practical part contains the analysis of the economy, especially in the National Park Čížov and the cross-border cooperation with Austria -- neighbouring country. The results discribe situation in the crop and animal production in the area of Čížov and the subsequent care of the landscape. An integral part of the results is the international cooperation between the Podyjí National Park and the Thayatal National Park and their collective activities and administrations of parks. The conclusion presents the development of more environmentally friendly farming in the area of Čížov, and the gradual conversion of the whole area of cultivated land into permanent grassland. The natural location of Čížov creates good conditions for the development of tourism and recreation, which will continue to be developed and supported the common activities of both parks.

Burnout syndrome of general nurses in the Prison Service in Czech Republic

The extended essay is aimed to find out an occurrence of burnout among nurses working in prisoner services in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part is interested in a definition of bucnout. It describes symptoms, phases, diagnostic, the differences from the other psychic states and ways of antistress programme. It shows characteristic specialities of work in prisoner services. The practical part gives the result of the questionnaire research done in January 2009 among the nurses working in prisoner services in the Czech Republic. The main goal of the research was to state the frequency of the burnout among respondents, comparsion of the differences among nurses working in different types of prisons. It compares the differences between the intensity and the length of burnout syndrome in the practice of prison. It offers a precaution againsts the occurrence of burnout syndrome among nurses working in prison.

The dynamics of participation in leisure time activities by soldiers on foreign missions in dependence on their current mental states

3 Summary The deployment of soldiers on foreign missions can be accompanied by both mental and physical strain. Consequently, it is necessary to search for alternative ways of preventing any adverse phenomena and keeping the soldiers in a good mental and physical form. The possible action seems to be the creating of such conditions on military bases that would match soldiers' existing standards of living and ensure sufficient number of motion and leisure time activities. (English version) Title: Stability of phytocanabinoids during storage of Cannabis sativa Author: Mgr. Jitka Myšíková Supervisor: RNDr. Michaela Hamerníková, Ph.D. The rigorous work deals with the problems of determination of ∆9 -THC, CBD and CBN and their precursors. It assesses the influence of storage time and way on marijuana and on n-hexan extract of marijuana. A validation of the method of ∆9 -THC, CBD and CBN determination was carried out through HPLC with UV detection at wave length of 220 nm, mobile phase methanol : water ( 85 : 15), colomn SUPELCOSILTM LC-18-DB. The main aim was to detect the influence of various storage ways and storage time on principal content items of marijuana. There were 2 samples of marijuana available, each of them was divided in 12 parts, whereas 6 parts were placed in a plastic bag and the other 6 in a linen bag. After that one part of the sample in the plastic bag and one in the linen bag were located in 6 places, respectively from each sample. The places of storage were choosen with respect to possible location by marijuana users or to their possible experiments with this drug. The observation went on for 8,5 months. Social entrepreneurship demostrated by practical example

Objective of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the current state of social entrepreneurship in the Czech Republic with a demonstration of good practice. The theoretical part is focused on the definition and principles of this activity. The first part of the practical part deals with the conditions for the creation, development opportunities and sustainability for this type of business in Czech Republic. Part of this thesis is to map the current state of the field of social entrepreneurship and the possibility of financial support for our country. The second part is devoted to selected companies - Ethnocatering and Baby Office, s.r.o., which will allow a better understanding of the opportunities, pitfalls, advantages, disadvantages and meaning of social entrepreneurship. Conclusion, the author devotes to overall assessment and proposes her own recommendations for aspiring entrepreneurs.

Z dnešního pohledu patří Jiří Weil mezi přední prozaiky české předválečné, zejména však poválečné literatury. Ne vždy tomu ale tak bylo. Místo v dějinách literatury bylo tomuto výraznému spisovateli se vzácnou vypravěčskou schopností, kterou mu připsal ve své recenzi na knihu Moskva-hranice už v roce 1937 Pavel Eisner, přiznáno až po dlouhé a trnité cestě životní i spisovatelské. Vše začalo vydáním románu Moskva-hranice v roce 1937, který komunistická literární kritika tvrdě odsoudila jako klepařské, pomlouvačné dílo téměř bez jakékoliv umělecké ceny. Za tímto ostrým odsouzením knihy stála vlastně výjimečnost a jedinečnost zobrazení poměrů v Sovětském svazu, jež měl autor možnost velmi dobře poznat. Naprosté novum bylo to, že pohled na překotně se vyvíjej ící zemi nebyl jako doposud v českém prostředí (zejména v komunistickém tisku) převážně prvoplánově obdivný a oslavný. Weil se ke koncepci svého románu vyj ádřil v článku Jen několik slov, kde píše: Napsal bych velmi špatný román, kdybych líčil jen světlé stránky. Podobal by se oněm románům na obj ednávku, které j sou odsuzovány právem celou sovětskou kritikou. (Weil 1937b: 309) Navíc pohled dostal netradiční uměleckou podobu. TO LOVE LIFE IS A TRUE DIVINE SERVICE - Analysis of selected moral-theological treatises from the period of Joseph II

Loving Life Is the True Divine Service - Analysis of Selected Morally Theological Treatises from the Period of Joseph II Jaroslav Lorman The work is focused on morally theological treatises from the period of Joseph II (1780-1790). From the point of view of Christian ethics, this period can be seen as the culmination of its gradual achievement of independence of dogmatic theology happening since the sixteenth century. The analysis is mainly based on three works: Augustin Zippe, Anleitung zur christlichen Sittenlehre der Vernunft und der Offenbarung (Prague 1778) and Von der moralischen Bildung angehender Geistlichen in Generalseminario zu Prag (Prague 1784) and Ignaz Fabiani, Grundzüge der kristlichen Sittenlehre (Vienna 1789). The main goal was to verify the existence of so called Catholic Enlightenment in the Czech environment. If it were shown that the Enlightenment authors, in our case the authors from the Joseph II period, did not act against the Church and religion and in fact they even identified with it, this would be an important argument against the old cliché that the fundamental elements of the Age of Enlightenment are antireligiosness and anticlericalism. Paintings rate of return and their determinants of market price in Czech Republic.

Abstract The goal of this diploma thesis is to explore the potential of Czech paintings as an alternative investment asset. Using hedonic model, I estimate the main sale price determinants such as painting technique, size, author, auction hall and the rate of return. Observed rate of return is than compared to global rate of return of art on one hand and to common investment tools such as gold and the Stock Exchange on the other. At the same time I examine the impact of GDP growth and inflation. I find a positive effect of GDP growth on the art market. After taking these questions into consideration I found, that even though art is associated with relatively low rate of return, it is eligible investment tool. Since it is unrelated to joint stock, it can serve as a convenient instrument of portfolio diversification. At the same time, Czech paintings may also serve as a very good store of value.
