New approaches in the human resources management related to leadership

The objective of this bachelor study is to specify decisive approaches in the human resources management related to leadership of people. Research was realized in cooperation with headquarters of Allianz in Czech Republic. For the purpose of research the level of human resource management, leadership and access to new methods of management was used the questionnaire survey supported by other techniques such as uncontrolled interviews or a participating observation. The research shows that the human resource management in the organization could be at a higher level. There are visible differences between employees on lower positions and the middle management. This may affect a performance, results and relationships on the workplace. Based on the analysis can be recommended to the organization to focus on communication flows, especially a downward flow. In addition, the organization should also focus on awareness of employees on lower positions, because these people have the feeling that they are overlooked. Other recommendation concerns trainings and educational events at work. Employees on lower positions have opinion that training and educational events are not adjusted for their knowledge and needs. Therefore is justified that the organization have to focus on the needs of employees, to reflect on how to further engage employees and what courses would be suitable for them to develop their potential. Proposed changes could help the organization to higher employee satisfaction, better relationships at work and would also built a stronger HR system.
Analysis of manager´s leadership approach in selected company

The main aim of this work is to analyze manager´s leadership approach in the selected company and determine recommendations to improve the current state. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. Theoretical part is focused on defining terms related to leadership and management, approaches to leadership, methods of team leadership and style of employees´ manners. The second part of the thesis is focused on analysis of leadership approach of selected manager. Based on observation, survey and structured interviews results were evaluated and recommendations to improve the current state were determined.
Coaching as a leadership and development method of the employees of an organization

Coaching is one of the most effective methods of leadership and development. This thesis concentrates on different aspects of coaching, mainly, on internal coaching in the working environment. The goal of the thesis is to evaluate internal coaching in practice. The goal is fulfilled by describing internal coaching in T-Mobile, showing the savings generated by internal coaching in comparison to the external and by evaluating the feedback given by the coachees. Theoretical part gives a review of coaching applications, methods, tools, presents the coaching leadership style and serves as a basis for the practical part, which concentrates on T-Mobile.
Application of HRM principles to activities of Junák

This work deals with personnel management in nonprofit organization and is looking for parallels between the HR management of staff and volunteers. It is built on the principles of analogy of functional HR management in the commercial sector and their subsequent time into the basic methodology for non-profit organization. Besides the theoretical section describing the general principles of personnel, and includes a methodological part for leading nonprofit organizations representing specific steps for the management of volunteers.
Managerial style in the organization

This work deals with the managerial style a leader applies by managing. The aim of this thesis is to determine the managerial style asserted by leading managers of an engineering oraganization, assessment of satisfaction of their subordinates with this style of management, compared with other managers surveyed and drafting of measures to increase employee satisfaction with the manager and the company itself. Theoretical section summarizes the basic knowledge of the issue, practical part analysis of the results of the qustionnaire survey and the plan to improve the current situation.
The Influence of Coaching on Leadership of Teams

The first part is dedicated to organization of available information about coaching to the clear structure. It defines that technique and its styles. It also describes its main instruments (function of questions, active listening, feedback, relationship between coach and coachee) and models (particularly The GROW). Furthermore, it covers also explanation of the notion leadership role and development of teams. The second part is focused on analysis of current state of the local committee AIESEC Praha. It serves as the base for proposal of solution. In the last part, there are presented concrete possibilities of the coaching implementation in the committee. The final suggestion takes into consideration its reality and future plans. For that reason, the recommendation of using basic coaching principles prevails over its direct introduction as effective style of leadership.

The information about established practice in leading people was acquired by the help of questioning among managers. In my diploma thesis I am going to focus on motivation and satisfaction of employees. In the first part I will describe in theory what motivation and satisfaction of employees include. In the second part I want to outline the procedure which I employed to collect information. In the following part I will define services provided for employees in company ABC. I made questionnaire analysis, which was an important source of information for me. At the end of my diploma thesis I will propose the solution for a better satisfaction of all employees in company.

Tato práce popisuje kvality a nedostatky manažerů úspěšné a nyní krachující české elektro-montážní firmy. Obsahuje teoretické poznatky, analýzu zkoumaného souboru, vyhodnocení a doporučení každému manažerovi. Model efektivního manažera je rozdělen do 4 částí: Osobnost, sebeřízení, manažer a tým, vedení lidí. Na závěr se v práci čtenář může dovědět něco nového na základě srovnání manažerů v manažerské mřížce GRID a podrobný popis výsledků z mřížky. Dále doporučení firmě jako celku, aby se nedostala do nesnází a dále mohla růst.
