The Roof Structure of a Multipurpose Sport Building

The goal of this bachelor work is designed and reviewed the roof of the timber construction of multifunction sports structure, the span is 40 m and the length is 60 m. The design of the structure is located in Ústí nad Orlicí. The shape of the hall is arc sector. The structure is designed from glue laminated timber, solid timber and steel load bearing elements. The main load bearing elements are solid girders, which static function as two hinged arch. The stability of the girders is ensured by purlins and transverse stiffeners. The stiffeners are situated in four fields. Front sides are made by girts and truss columns.

The subject of the thesis is solving roofing of counseling center NNO Údolní (Otevřená zahrada v Brně) . It is a flat green roof of administrative building. For that phase is handled by a engineering report, assessment transport routes, bill of quantities and itemized budget, technological prescription, design of site equipment, construction schedule, design of machine assembly , inspection and quality plan and work safety. It also includes a drawing of the site.

The steel roof structure of a hangar

This work contains the design and assessment of the steel roof structure of a hangar for Cessna propeller aircraft. Ground plan dimensions are 40,0 x 60,0 m, approximate height is 12,0 m. The supporting system of the structure consists of plane elliptical trusses. The design is selected from two pre-solved geometrical and structural variants. They are compared on the basis of price, the size of painted surfaces and the weight of structure. For the selected variant is made detailed static assessment and drawing documentation.

Diploma thesis is developed the design and static assessment supporting steel structure Exhibition Hall of the overall ground dimensions 47x66m with a maximum height of 15.4 meters. Layout is designed in accordance with architectural requirements. The design is considered for Brno´s area. The proposal of roof system is designed in two versions whose dimensions are identical. The first option consists of a two-aisle hall object, parabolic truss girder, pin supported on fixed columns. The second variant also two-aisle building with truss frame structure assessed in static calculation. At the end of the thesis, comparison of both variants is elaborated. Content of this master‘s thesis is construction technological project of apartment block in Boskovice. The masters’s thesis contains technical report of the building, suggested construction site installations, proposal of suitable machines and mechanisms required for construction, further it solves wider relations of transport lines to construction site, budget and time schedule. Detailed procedure of assembly of the load-bearing roof truss and the roof sheathing is provided in specifications. Safety and health protection, control and test plans are elaborated for stage of the building roofing.

This Master´s thesis deals with the realization of roofing winter stadium in Krnov. Selected points of construction technology project are technical report, financial plan and schedule, project site facilities and design of the main construction machinery. Detail work solves rough superstructure. This part contains the technological prescription of specifications supporting the roof structure, transportation of oversized glued arched trusses, inspection and test plan, risks and precaution, a detailed schedule and itemized budget. The work also includes a draft contract for work.

The topic of the thesis is a project of roof of a multifunctional sport object with a ground-plan covering area 35x48m, and maximum height of 16m. This construction is projected for Brno and its surroundings. The project of roofing is evolved in two different variants. First one is formed by double-jointed arched latticed truss. Supporting components such as purlins, lateral and longitudal bracings, frontal column and anchorage are designed and assessed in static calculation. At the end of the thesis, comparison of both variants is elaborated. Design documentation, which consists of dispositional drawing, drawing of truss for manufacturing, drawing of indicative details and plan of anchorage, is a part of the thesis.
Roof construction over scating ring

This document describes the design of the roof structure for the dimensions of the rink. It was designed and evaluated three roofing solutions – steel truss structure, concrete arch with external prestress and prestress truss roof girder with concrete roof panel. One option was selected – prestress truss girder. This variant has been further developed. In the beginning was drafted several proposals geometry respecting the demands on the type of construction. Within the static calculation was created a mathematical model of the structure of the program Scia Engineer. Using this model were obtained values needed for the assessment of individual elements of construction and design assessment as a whole for the ultimate limit state and usability. According to the proposed geometry and opinions parts of the structure was drawing documentation structure as a whole and individual parts of the structure solved in this thesis. The last proposal was visualized structures together with the phases of the construction by program ArchiCAD and rendered by program Artlantis.
