The usage of selected logistic methods in the manufacturing concern
KOHOUTOVÁ, Anna
The main aim of this work was to rate the usage of selected logistic methods and introduction of the operating system Kanban to the production line in the project {\clqq}C214 Top Roll`` of the company Faurecia Automotive Czech Republic, s.r.o, Interior Systems. A minor aim then was to find out the knowledge level of the Kanban method. Methodics Hypotheses: 1.The logistic flows used in the Faurecia company already function sufficiently enough, the proof of which is the stabilised production. 2.Using the operating system Kanban for functioning production, logistics and the whole company Faurecia is rather advantageous. 3.Training all the employees is a vital part in the process of introducing the operating system Kamban. Methods: deducion, situation analysis - collection of information, interviews, survey, questioning brief, modeling Structure of the practical part is following: company profile, character of pruduction and setting of the main logistical flows, determination of zones and stock sectors, process implementation and using of Kanban in the production line "C214 Top Roll". The first hypothesis can be confirmed by the situational analysis which evaluates the processing and logistic method. The individual methods {\clqq}met`` or {\clqq}nearly met`` the demands and because all the methods together partake of the production and the production has provided very good results in the previous months, we can consider the production being stabilised. The second can also be affirmed. If the production on a particular assembly line is stabilised, it is possible to introduce the Kanban method. Why not to use it if a there is a great advantage of this method in simplicity and lower production supplies which result in decreasing the total costs? It is beneficial for all participating on the production and for the Faurecia company as a whole. Third hypothesis can be confirmed as well. There has been a survey based on short questionaires and the knowledge of working and using the Kanban has been found inadequate. The best form of providing all the important information will be a training as a part of the process of introducing and using the Kanban method. Both aims have been resulted in stating possible recommendations and improvement suggestions: - production is stabilized, Kanban is possible to apply on 1.9. 2008 - training is necessary, meeting of responsible persons, control, messing, measures, - training of current and new workers, - motivation, communication improve, - system of regural records about information and control of chief (material and production planning)

Alimony - what guides judge's consideration?
Trličíková, Michala ; Pavlík, Petr (advisor) ; Havelková, Barbara (referee)
One-parent families with minor children belong to households which are the most threatened by poverty. Most of these households are headed by women who must act as both caretaker and breadwinner. Part of the total cost associated with raising children is covered by alimony, but its amount is often inadequately low or not paid at all. Conditions for female sole wage earners are made even worse by their disadvantageous labor market position. As a consequence, a feminization of poverty occurs, and alimony can become a contributing element to reproducing inequalities between women and men. Alimony obligation is vaguely defined by the law, so the judge's consideration plays a main role in determining the amount of alimony. With this in mind, research interviews with judges were focused on views and procedures they make use of when judging. The analysis indicated a great divergence in their decision-making caused by insufficient unifying judicature. However, this lack of unity and its consequences was not adequately reflected by many judges in that they were satisfied with the present system and resisted proposed reforms. The neglect of a broader context of alimony and the adoption of fathers' or the state's perspective in preference to the one of women and children, whose interests judges declare to particularly...

Budiman, Michaela ; Oberfalzerová, Alena (advisor) ; Dubovská, Zorica (referee) ; Remešová, Blanka Michaela (referee)
The presented doctoral thesis called The Most Important Toraja Rituals and Their Current Form deals with the ethnic group of Toraja, who inhabit the province of Tana Toraja, located in the southern part of the Indonesian island of Sulawesi. The work presents Toraja culture with a focus on two of the most important rituals - funerals and weddings. The goal is to outline the original form of these rituals and to capture the major social and religious changes in Toraja society since the Dutch missionaries first entered the area of present day Tana Toraja at the beginning of the 20th century. The Dutch introduced Christianity to the Toraja people, who until then adhered to their autochthonous religion Aluk Todolo. Almost all of the Toraja people gradually converted to Christianity, though they did not fully leave behind their original customs. In this work, I advert to how much the newly accepted Christianity influenced contemporary Toraja rituals, with an emphasis on the shift in their form and meaning. The work is based mostly on the field research; I implemented the method of concentrated observation. I also conducted and recorded many interviews with local people. After returning from the field, I analysed all of the collected text, voice, and video materials. Based on its analysis and the specialized...

Technology of milking with milking robot in relationship to dairy welfare
KOUTEK, Martin
The theme of this bachelor thesis is focused on evaluation of influence of milking technology by milk machine on welfare milk cow. Ethologic displays of milk cows after milking and various parameters related to milking were found out. The main parameters were the amount of attempts to place teat-cups, the time from milk cow?s entering into the robot to successful placing all four teat-cups, the whole time of milking and the time between every single milking. Further, the need of fluid and food intake and lying down in the 30 minutes after milking were observed during the ethologic observation. At the end of the observation the state of health of milk cows with focus on mammary gland illnesses was assessed. Ethologic observations took place twice, always last 24 hours and the results were compared with the order of milk cow?s lactation and with every single observation. Part of the data were gain during the observation itself and part from the milk machine?s database. During both observations the average amount of attempts to place teat-cups was detected as about 1.6 per one milking. The average time from milk cow?s entering into the box to placing teat-cups was 2 minutes and 18 seconds. The whole time of milking per 24 hours was 12 hours and 37 minutes during the first observation and 11 hours and 48 minutes during the second observation. The time between milking was on average 11.5 hours when milking twice a day and about three hours when milking three times a day. As far as the activity in the 30 minutes after the milking is concerned, milk cows had similar habits, bigger difference was in fluid intake both from the viewpoint of every single observation and from the viewpoint of the order of milk cow?s lactation as well. The need of food intake was on average at 84 % of observed milk cows, the need of fluid intake was on average at 37 % of observed milk cows and the need of lying down was at 7 % of observed milk cows. The amount of mammary gland illnesses was at a low level. During the observations was found out that the using of milking machines has positive influence on welfare milk cows. Milk cows had permanent access to water and food, in the stable was quality climate, the amount of mammary gland illnesses was negligible. Milk cows had enough of space and were calm because they did all activities during the day wholly voluntarily.

The ethology of gorilla (\kur{Gorilla gorilla}) in nature and captivity
GALLISTLOVÁ, Renata
Results of ethological studies on gorillas are mainly based on the observation of the behavioural traits of mountain gorillas in the wild. Gorillas living in zoos have adapted to small spaces and being exposed to quite a few visitors. Long-term stress, nutritionally unbalanced diet and other factors create risks associated with abnormal behaviour such as covering their ears which had never been seen before in the wilderness. Zoos try to provide the most suitable environment to gorillas to eliminate these behavioural traits. For instance, they create a suitable social group, a ragged living habitat with hiding places, or various activities to support the typical behaviour of gorilla species. Thank to the introduction of envrionmental enrichment of food, their feeding time has been prolonged with the consequent reduction of vomiting and the resumption of food intake. In addition, brain teasers like puzzles encourage the cognitive process of gorillas.

Influence of sedentary work on human posture from the perspective of physiotherapist
RAZIMOVÁ, Kateřina
The subject of my Bachelor?s thesis is the influence of sedentary job on human posture from the view of a physiotherapist. Theoretical part of the thesis includes generally the description of posture, problems with motor system caused by longtime sitting, ergonomics and suitable ergonomic chair. Great attention is devoted to a technique of correct sitting and other variations of sitting. In the end of the theoretical part I tried to make a description of compensatory exercise, techniques or methods suitable for therapy of problems caused as a result of sedentary job. The aim of the practical part was to find out the informedness of patients, whether they know what risks a sedentary job bears and their interest in prevention. The ultimate goal was to create a set of recommended compensatory exercises. Especially helpful to me in accomplishing the above stated goals were the following methods and techniques of qualitative research ? unstructured interviews, participated observation, kinesiological analysis and questionnaire. Examined group was made from three patients working in sedentary jobs, who have developed typical problems caused by longtime sitting. First of all, I asked the patients questions in the from of questionnaire in order to determine previously set goals. During the therapy, first of all an anamnesis was taken, followed by visual examination, palpation, examination of gait, examination by plumb line, goniometry of root joints, cervical spine and wrists. Then it was followed by examination of spine mobility, diaphragmal test, therapy itself and suitably chosen compensatory exercise. A short-term and long-tern rehabilitation plan was set for all patients. According to personal discretion, I recommended them suitable ergonomic lay-out of workplace; I mainly focused on motivation for a correct posture and carrying out compensatory exercise.

Differences in comunication with father with different degree dependences on care other persons in Home for seniors in Milevsko
JAROŠOVÁ, Jana
An importance of the communication with seniors is often neglected. I chose this topic for my bachelor thesis to draw an attention to its importance. The communication is one of the most important life necessities. By communicating we become a part of a society. An interpersonal communication is present at each meeting of two or more people. It is impossible to get by it and especially helping professions should have it in mind. It is inconceivable that the care could take place without any communication. Taking care of a user, the nursing staff cannot do with common communication ways they use every day. That is why it is necessary for them to learn how to communicate professionally. By talking with a senior, we can inform him/her about just ongoing activities, but we can also obtain information, encourage and motivate him/her etc. The quality of the provided care does not manifest itself only by using the latest technologies and materials, but also by the ability, how the staff can communicate with users. The ability of the nursing staff to make a contact, to hold a conversation in a qualified way and to gain a confidence is almost a rarity in present hectic times. The communication is an important part of the life for all of us, it accompanies us already from the birth and especially the seniors need to have a possibility to speak with somebody, to tell him about his/her feelings. The bachelor thesis has been focused on the issues of the communication with seniors. The aim of the thesis was to find out whether there are differences in the communication with seniors with various degrees of dependences on another person´s care. The theoretical part defines concepts as a communication and its types ? verbal, nonverbal and paralinguistic, an old age and a senior, seniors´ home and specifics of the communication with the senior. The practical part deals with a research survey. The research sample consisted of the staff and seniors from the Seniors´ Home Milevsko. The data collection technique was an observation and interviews. Everything was carried out with an approval of the organization management. Interviews were conducted independently and with different employees. The observation was carried out secretly at chosen seniors. In the practical part there are recorded important information from the interviews with the staff and the findings from the observation. The most significant answers to the questions are indicated in an authentic wording and highlighted in italics. Results of the research in the bachelor thesis inform about differences in the communication with the seniors. It was found out that it comes to an infantilization of seniors; the used method of the communication is similar to conversations with small children. The staff talks about the senior as about the third person during a care of a badly speaking user, they do not pay a necessary attention to harmonizing of their verbal and nonverbal expressions. It often leads to a stigmatization of the users ? they classify seniors into certain groups. The bachelor thesis can be used for improving the communication between the staff and users of the seniors´ home.
