2D Photographic Analysis for Evaluation of Women Posture in Late Stages of Pregnancy
Císařová, Jitka ; Jelen, Karel (advisor) ; Tlapáková, Eva (referee)
Title of the thesis: 2-D photographic analysis for evaluation of women posture in late stages ofpregnancy Aims: Based on literature search to characterize biomechanical changes in up-right posture of pregnant women. To propose a process of evaluation and segmentation of side-view photographic pictures of pregnant women. To evaluate prevalence and intensity of back pain among the group of selected pregnant women. Methods: The 2-D analysis of photographic pictures was used as the main method in the AutoCad® software, by which the body segmentation was carried out. Position of the center of gravity projection to the ground plane was found by the Kistler® device (Multicomponent force plate with glass top plate). Evaluation of back pain was realized by a questionnaire search. Results: Our analysis showed that the center of gravity projection to the ground plane does not change during pregnancy. The mechanism by which pregnant women balance the increased mass in the bottom part of the trunk consists in a backward shift of the upper trunk segment and in increased buttocks mass. The prevalence of back pain found among the group ofselected pregnant women was 92,3%. Key words: Back Pain; Center ofGravity; Posture; Pregnancy

Early vegetation succession at conifer forests in CR
Šmidrkalová, Monika ; Hadincová, Věroslava (advisor) ; Macek, Martin (referee)
In coniferous forests take place natural or human-made disturbance processes (wind, fire, pests, logging,…), which disrupt forest landscape. These processes are the main force driving the forest dynamics around the world. Damaged or destroyed sites in forest after disturbances immediately starts regeneration. Forest development on disturbed sites depends on various abiotic and biotic factors, which are: seed availability (seed sources, distance from clearing, disturbed site size, dispersal ability, surrounding vegetation effect), suitable stand (open site, climatic conditions of site, soil properties, site topography, presence of animals) and site history before disturbance. Idealized course of succession, take place in forests after disturbances, starts with ruderal annual species entrance and it is continued with herb perennials and shrubs followed by early-successional trees and late-successional trees. The most common method in research of succession is phytosociological sampling of different aged successional stages. Vegetation succession on disturbed sites in coniferous forests of the Czech Republic has not been described a lot so far and we also particularly miss studies researching a succession in the areas of pine forests with dominating Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris). Clitic reduplication of object in contemporary Spanish
Ziková, Kateřina ; Čermák, Petr (advisor) ; Zavadil, Bohumil (referee)
In this work, the pronominal reduplication is interpreted as an agreement of the verb with the object by means of a clitic. In this way, the object resembles the subject, which agrees with the verb by means of an affix. However, while the subject agreement is absolutely regular, the agreement of the object, or reduplication, is conditioned by diverse factors. These factors are the main object of investigation in this work. The reinterpretation of the object clitics as agreement markers is the consequence of their grammaticalization from the original character of unstressed personal pronouns towards the character of verbal affixes. The dative clitics are rather further in this process than the accusative clitics - they conserve less pronominal features, and also the reduplication of the indirect object is much more frequent than the reduplication of direct object. This is related to the fact that the indirect object is by its nature closer to the subject, therefore it favours more the regular agreement with the predicate. What is the Predicative Ability for Unemployment Rate of Different Methodologies for Output Gap Estimation?
Holá, Martina ; Kubíček, Jan (advisor) ; Chytil, Zdeněk (referee)
The submitted diploma thesis is dedicated to the calculation of the estimation of output gap by three estimating techniques (Hodrick-Prescott filter, Kalman filtering, and Cobb-Douglas production function) for the Czech Republic during the years 1995-2009, and, consequently, to their usefulness for testing the Okun's law as a suitable predicative tool. In other words, which of the mentioned methods is the most appropriate one for an accurate prediction of the rate of unemployment. To achieve this, the Box-Jenkins methodology is used for modelling and designing the cyclical unemployment forecasts and dynamic version of the Okun's law. The results indicate that, for the given period, there is relatively strong and unstable relationship between changes in output gap and changes in cyclical unemployment in the Czech Republic. The most suitable technique for the estimating of the future development of unemployment gap seems to be the Cobb-Douglas production function approach. This is namely based on the quantity of gained forecast errors and Granger causality.

attribute in spanish
ČERMÁKOVÁ, Michaela
The thesis "Attribute in Spanish language" is aimed at the analysis of the word patterns that are used to build an attribute. The target of the thesis is to define attributes as a part of a sentence and describe every particular kind of them. This analysis is based on the study of linguistic materials coming from both, Czech and Spanish sources. First, the theoretical part will be focused on the unification of the terminology. It will also be attempted to connect these two very different language systems in one. Further, the attribute will be described in detail from various formal points of view. In the practical part the findins from the theoretical part will be applied to analyze some text taken from Spanish periodicals. The results of analysis will be stated in the third part of the thesis, conclusion. The graphical illustration of the chosen results is would also be presented in the conclusion. Résumé in Spanish is also part of this thesis.

Database of recordings for detection of voice activity
Pelikán, Pavel ; Hudec, Antonín (referee) ; Míča, Ivan (advisor)
This thesis deals with voice activity detection (VAD) and requirements for creating a speech database. One of the existing tools for marking recordings was chosen. On the basis of the gained knowledge, database of isolated words, sentences, text and spontaneous speech was created. The practical part consists of a detailed description of database and mark creation. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the conversion of marks into Matlab. There are also some auxiliary scripts for operations with marks. Prepared and a database was created in an anechoic chamber and includes recordings from 16 speakers.
