A contrastive study of -ingly adverbials with special regard to disjuncts
Jarkovská, Martina ; Dušková, Libuše (advisor) ; Voráček, Jaroslav (referee) ; Malá, Markéta (referee)
The present study is concerned with -ing participle base adverbs as one realization form of this word class and their Czech equivalents. The focus of our study is on -ingly adverbials especially in their sentence modifying function. Sentence modification is present in both languages, English and Czech; however, based on morphological and syntactic differences between the two languages, the means of Czech and English sentence modification do not always correspond. Above all, this is caused by the fact that -ingly adverbials, a productive class of disjuncts evaluating the content of the clause from the speaker's point of view, structurally more or less do not have Czech corresponding counterparts. In English -ing participle base adverbials can be regarded as condensed forms of clausal realization (surprisingly ~ it is surprising). Although in Czech such adverbial forms are structurally possible, they are not in common usage (překvapující ~ *překvapujícně). This often results in applying different means of attitudinal evalution as counterparts of -ingly disjuncts. Therefore a primary interest of this work is a comparison of morphological, syntactic and stylistic differences in the sentence modification between English and Czech. Unlike in Czech where the word order is flexible, in English the position of a...

Simulation of Car Traffic
Gregor, Ivan ; Hladík, Milan (referee) ; Pudlák, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis describes the main components of the program that simulates the car traffic. It describes the representation of road system, agents, simulation in progress and its output. It also describes several results reached during the simulation of concrete traffic situations. Moreover, the comparison between this program and multiagent systems is included in the end of this thesis. The road system consists of roads and crossroads which are controlled by traffic lights. The user of this program can observe different agent's behaviour. The only condition is that the class that represents an agent implements a uniform interface. The term agent means the car and its driver together. It is autonomous object that moves inside the road system respecting given limits of the simulation. Consequently, behaviour of agents is limited by the simulation rules. Agents are possibly controlled by simulation in order to avoid collisions and not to break traffic rules. The output of the simulation is used to compare the successfulness of individual strategies of agents in terms of length of the drive or fuel usage.

Prolactin And Systemic lupus erythematosus
Moszkorzová, Ludmila ; Dostál, Ctibor (advisor) ; Pokorný, Jaroslav (referee) ; Hrnčíř, Zbyněk (referee)
Prolactin (PRL) is a polypeptide hormone of 23 kDa molecular weight made up of 199 amino acids, and produced by lactotropes, acidophilic cells of the anterior lobe of the pituitary. PRL is also synthetized in some other parts of the brain and in certain peripheral blood elements. Whether this extra-pituitary PRL, also known as PRL-like hormone, interferes with serum PRL radioimmunoassay (RIA) and whether it also has a feedback effect on PRL secretion in the pituitary, has yet to be elucidated. There is, however, proof of its apocrine and paracrine function of cellular growth factor, a function enhancing mitogenesis and lymphocyte differentiation at the site of inflammation and thereby their own production of yet other mediators and immunomodulators - including interleukines (IL) and growth factors. PRL also directly interferes with the synthesis of some acute-phase proteins in the liver (stimulating, e.g., alpha-2-macroglobulin synthesis). As a result of these discoveries, PRL was classed among immunomodulators, and the hypothesis was advanced of its part in the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases. The aim of the thesis was to verify the presence of hyperprolactinemia (hyper- PRL) in SLE patients compare to patients with other auto-immune diseases and to healthy controls and to find its association...

A personality of University teacher and ways of coping of exigeant events in classroom
VINTROVÁ, Eva
Content work deal with personality university teacher. In theoretic parts is out of print his structure and dynamism, further conflict in role, pivotal jurisdiction, tutorial style, themselves-cognition and autoevaluation. Next part is sight on theory stress, protective gadgetry, coping exacting situation in class, contact style, interaction and communication teacher and student. In practical parts I, from basic exploration method pedagogic research, using talk, sighting and questionnaire, with the aim of chart opinion surface choice pedagogue on possible manners coping exacting situation in class. At the close I lumped gained piece of knowledge.

Dynamic stability and post-critical processes of pendulum related auto-parametric systems
Náprstek, Jiří ; Fischer, Cyril
The existence and stability of the semi-trivial solution of the auto-parametric system is analyzed. Individual types of post-critical states are discussed (limit cycles, quasi-periodic response types, chaotic processes, transition processes). General considerations are demonstrated on particular DDOF and MDOF cases in both classes mentioned above. Sensitivity of several systems to stability loss with respect to their parameters, excitation amplitudes and other factors are evaluated. Bifurcation mechanism and diagrams are developed and analyzed. Important transition effects together with physical interpretation are investigated. Some open problems and possible future research strategy are outlined.

Auto-parametric vibrations of simple systems related with inverse pendulum
Náprstek, Jiří
The aim of this study is to point out one special class of auto-parametric systems related with basic properties of the inverse pendulum. Sensitivity of these systems after the dynamic stability loss is significantly higher than the others as their effective stiffness has rather a softening character.

The analysis of positions of Volkswagen brand in the market of new cars in Czech Republic.
Vorobev, Vitaly ; Kuncová, Martina (advisor) ; Skočdopolová, Veronika (referee)
The purpose of my thesis is use of various methods of multicriterial evaluation of alternatives in a reality, and particularly the estimation of positions of Volkswagen brand at the market of new cars in Czech Republic and which positions do they take in comparison with other carmakers. The following purpose was to help customers who are going to get to itself the car. The aim was to order cars in each of 10 classes on the basis of results of each method. For my analysis I use methods WSA, TOPSIS and ELECTRE III. For calculations I used MS Excel and program SANNA.

The motorism phenomenon - The development of motorism in our country from 1987 to the present
Kovářová, Marcela ; Jakubec, Ivan (advisor) ; Szobi, Pavel (referee)
In the present bachelor thesis, I will deal with the development of motorism in our country from the turn of the 19th and 20th century to the present. The issue will be treated from the social-historical point of view. At the beginning of the last century, a car was owned only by the richest class. Nowadays, hovewer, motorism became an absolute phenomenon and almost each family in the Czech Republic own a car. In my work, I will attempt to find out the main factors leading to this development. I will analyse the increasing living standards of the population. I will deal with the increasing density and quality of the road network in our country. Describing the density of the railway network, or bus connection, I would like to answer the question whether they were able to ensure transport and travelling facilities for inhabitants sufficiently, or whether a car represented a necessary possession in this respect. I will follow the development of our car factories (Škoda plants, Tatra Kopřivnice), concentrating on the sales development on the internal market. At the end of this work, I will sum up the main factors of the motorist development. In my work, I will use published sources and the latest specialized literature.
