Project of a Database for a Czech Red Cross Critical Evacuation Centre

This bachelor’s thesis deals with design of a database for a critical evacuation center of the Czech red cross. There are theoretical basics described in the first part. It offers basic overview of knowledge, which is important for reaching assigned aims. There is also analysed internal situation of the Czech red cross and defined requirements to the database. Obtained pieces of knowledge are processed in the practical part and they are utilised for the main proposal. Suggested design of the database is summed up in the final part.

Vexation at highschools in Kroměříž county

ABSTRACT In today´s world chicane becomes more pronounced term and is considered to be the most significant negative aspect of current school system. In addition unlike chicane in the past today is displays more alarming features. That includes in particular increasing number of chicane occurrence in schools, lower age of offenders and increased aggressivity and brutality of such behaviour. Chicane is a complex and cross-society problem. And it is defined as any behaviour with the intention to harm somebody repeatedly, threaten or intimidate other student or group of students. This intentional violence is focused on individuals or groups of students who don{\crq}t know how or cant defend themselves for whatever reason. It includes physical attacks in form of beating, extortion, robberies, damaging of property of others as well as verbal attacks in form of invectives, aspersions, assault or humiliation. It may also have the form of sexual harassment or even sexual abuse. Chicane occurs also indirectly as notable neglecting or ignoring of a student or students by the teacher or other group of students. Danger of chicane is based mainly on its severity, long term effect and related consequences for mental and physical health. These are the reasons why chicane must not be neglected and underestimated. The purpose of this diploma work is to map occurrence and severity of chicane in secondary vocational schools in Kroměříž district. In my opinion this objective has been achieved. The research objective was to prove or disprove the following hypothesis: H1: Chicane occurs in secondary vocational schools in Kroměříž district. H2: Most of chicane cases are not of severe character in secondary vocational schools in Kroměříž district. H3: Most of chicane offenders also display discipline problems. H4: Boys are more often chicane offenders than girls. The H1 hypothesis has been proved. 66 % of students in secondary vocational schools in Kroměříž ever experienced chicane and 21 % of students experience chicane in their current school. The H2 hypothesis has been proved. Chicane is not of severe character. The most common form of chicane is verbal attacks, humiliation and aspersions. The H3 hypothesis has been disproved. The research did not prove that chicane offenders also display discipline problems. The H4 hypothesis has been proved. The result of the research conclude that boys are more often chicane offenders, in 60% of cases. In addition the research pointed out the problem of chicane reporting and solving. Chicane often remains unreported or is reported but not addressed. As concerns the chicane abatement issue in secondary schools, also 8 % of students is of the opinion that their school effectively addresses chicane and less than 61 % of student does not even know if their schools are addressing this problem at all. Therefore I would recommend to schools to pay more attention to communication with students about this socially pathological problem and take preventive measures.

Pupils' knowledge level research related to aspects of Russian life and customs

SUMMARY: Elementary school pupils' knowledge of aspects of Russian life and customs is the prime object of this diploma thesis. The thesis inspects this field differences among students taught Russian language and those who are not educated in Russian, as well as it considers the cross-curricular activities. The main hypothesis presumes to find the group educated in Russian in better knowledge conditions while all of the students are supposed to be equipped well with information - thanks to cross-curricular activities. The hypothesis is expected to be verified or refuted by the question-form method of the research and following datarevaluation. Research results bring a conclusion: sufficient time allocation, effective cross-curricular activities and didactically controlled motivation are the explicit knowledge level dominant factors.

Resolving stellar surfaces with binary gravitational microlensing

Binary gravitational microlensing has demonstrated excellent prospects for studying the surface brightness distribution of stars. In this work we study the extended-source eects that aect the amplication of the source ux. We identify regions in the geometry that are sensitive to the extended source and nd previously unknown areas between facing cusps of multi-part caustics. We nd out that the probability of detecting the extended-source eect can be as much as two times higher than the probability of observing pure caustic crossing. We explore the chromaticity of binary microlensing and compare two classes of models of limb darkening. We describe spectral changes during binary microlensing and compare their amplitude to the point-lens case. Finally, we investigate the linear fold approximation and nd signicant residuals even in cases favorable for the method.

Chronicle of the monastery of Cross-bearers with the red star in Cheb in 1829-1936 and its relevance for the monastery's history from the 1550s to 1631

Ve velmi nedávné době byl ve Státním okresním archivu v Chebu konečně pořízen inventář zde uložené části archivu zdejší křižovnické komendy. Součástí tohoto archivu je také kronika komendy, kterou začal psát tehdejší chebský komtur Leopold StOhr v letech 1829-1836. Podstatná část knihy je věnována historii chebské komendy od samotného založení špitálu. Podrobněji mohl díky zachovaným dokumentům kronikář popsat historii komendy počínaje polovinou 16. století, protože právě dokumenty týkající se reformace a událostí za třicetileté války mu byly k dispozici v archivu komendy, který se tehdy nacházel v sídle chebského komendátora u sv. Bartoloměje. A navíc, což ještě v té době nebylo zcela běžné, kronikář důsledně odkazuje na zdroj, ze kterého poznatky pro svou kroniku vyčetl. Lze tedy přímo jeho práci porovnat s některými dochovanými prameny z 16. a 17. století, na které se autor kroniky odvolává. Není však úplně jednoduché dokumenty dohledat, protože archiv byl rozdělen a jeho část převezena do Prahy, kde byl roztříděn do kartonů. Přesto jsem se alespoň částečně pokusila porovnat kronikářovo pojetí s autentickými prameny a na některých místech ho snad trochu doplnit. Na počátku bych se alespoň krátce zmínila o původu a charakteru Řádu křižovníků s červenou hvězdou. Podnět k jeho vzniku dala samotná Svatá...

Planar frames and curved bars. Study of the significance of the influence of normal and shear forces on deformation characteristics of the centerline

The Aim of this thesis is to write up the relevancy of particular resultant inner effects (further denoted as RIE) on the central line bars and plane frames deformation. The relevancy of particular RIE on the choice deformation characteristic bars in dependence on the ration of central line length and characteristic cross-section proportions, support type and bar load is analyzed in the sample examples. We solve a problem whether a bent bar should be comprehended as a shall bent or as a forte bent bar and we also analyze how does the stiffness shift influence the fractional bar deformation. When solving the sample examples we suppose that the bar expectations are fulfilled. When determining the central line deformation we use the Castiglianano’s theorem because it enables to include supplies of particular RIE.

Popular Religiousness and Liturgy. The Renewal of the Pilgrim Place of Smržov

Anglická anotace PEOPLE'S RELIGIOUNESS AND LITURGY THE RENEWAL OF THE PLACE OF PILGRIMAGE IN SMRŽOV This work focuses on the relation between people's religiousness and liturgy. In the theoretical part it deals with their defining and mutual relation. One of the chapters pays attention to the Czech special characteristics of this relation and of the historical development. Futher, this work deals with selected forms of people's religiousness, e. g. pilgrimage, places of pilgrimage, stations of the Cross and awe of the Virgin Mary and some of its forms. Awe of the Virgin Mary is detailed dealt with for the time between 1850 and 2007. This is the time of building and life of the Smržov Chapel. This chapel is the subject of the practical part of this work. The selected forms of people's religiousness are described in their complexity of the historical development. The practical part focuses on the description of manifestation of people's religiousness and liturgy at a country Marian place of pilgrimage and its renewal after 1989 in the light of church documents. It also pays attention to the possibilities of laymen to take part at these activities. It offers an excellent opportunity to show the link between the secular and church life. Controversial symbols - Comprehension of the meaning of symbols by contemporary young people

CONTROVERSIAL SYMBOLS Comprehension of the Mening of Symbols by Contemporary Young People Annotation This thesis considers controversial symbols and deals with a conception of this topic in school education. It attempts to involve a rate of knowledge of young people in symbology. It also surveys an approach to this topic in our educational system. The main aim of this thesis is to suggest a suitable model of teaching this topic. I have chosen four symbols:a swastika ( and nazi symbology), a red star with five tips ( and communist symbology), a cross and a skull. These symbols present a topic of a questionary distributed in classes and they are a topic of a school project suggested at the end of this thesis. The Cooperation of Nursery Schools with Centres for Environmental Education in The South Bohemia Region

In my work I deal with its implementation of environmental education in kindergartens in co ? operation with EETP centres (environmental education training and public awareness) in South Bohemian region. In the area of education is EETP centre one of the cross-section themes entered into the framework of training programmes for all levels of education: pre-school, primary, basic customization of training students with mild mental retardation, for special education elementary school, for high school, for special training. The general objective of environmental education is to awaken in people interest in nature and lead them to the protection of the environment. In the framework curriculum of pre-school education is an environmental education represented by areas called The Child and the world. But it permeates through the other areas because this is a cross-section theme. The realization of the environmental education in the motherly education we can utilize many methods and means. We can also use some of the services of the EETP centres. In the South Bohemia there are 12 EETP centres that offer their services in the context of environmental education to nursery schools. The aim of my work was to find out the offers of the programs and services for nursery schools in the South Bohemia region and determinate whether the nursery schools in the South Bohemia region consider offers of EETP centres within sufficient. Furthermore, I have focused on the implementation of environmental education for integrated children with disabillities in nursery school, as well as to whether the centres are willing and able to adapt their services to these children. To get the result I used the qualitative research, query´s method with technique interview. The results indicate that the centres have a wide range of services involving a range of tutorials for nursery school, a number of projects. They also hosts occasional events, seminars for educators, various lectures, competetions, exhibitions, provide methodological support to nursery school, they lend a variety of materials and equipment and offer advice in the field of environmental education. The most widely used EETP centres in the South Bohemia region are CEGV Cassiopeia and the Protection of Fauna in the Czech Republic. Nursery schools are satisfied with offering services from EETP centre. They would have changed nothing on its content. Most of their training programs and workshop for educators are the most widely used. With regard to the integrated children, EETP centres are trying their services up to adapt to their needs. Nursery schools are satisfied with offer and appreciate the efforts of the EETP centres with a maximum redesign for this target group. And yet, when working with these children, it is necessary to adapt the activities to their facilities. EETP centres mostly missing programs targeted to children with disabilities which I see as a major shortcoming. The first in the South Bohemia region in this project was CEGV Cassiopeia ?I can´t see, I can´t hear, but I know?, that was aimed at EETP for pupils with disabilities from elementary school. I think that this should be changed. An example might be Gartentherapie, Garden ? therapy project implemented by the company Chaloupka which is aimed at the social inclusion and inclusion of disadvantages groups. Environmental education in nursery school has its substantiation as shown not only from theoretical knowledge but also from practise. A child of pre-school age creates its value, we can lead him to love and respect for nature and for its protection.

Bachelor thesis deals with analysis of two protectorate journals, daily paper Ceské Slovo and magazine for women Eva, with regards to the call appeals and articles arousing readers to support protectorate institutions. Bachelor thesis focuses on the appeals of the protectorate authorities for social assistance towards the Third Reich by contributing to the German Red Cross and Winterhilfswerk, or by filling posts freed by soldiers fighting at the front.
