Akcelerace porozumění problematiky Brownfields (a možné zdroje jejího financování)

Analýza současného stavu znalosti problematiky území označovaných jako brownfields a návrh strategického postupu akcelerace této problematiky. Zpráva je zaměřena na potřebu akcelerovat know-how transfer v oblasti problematiky Brownfields‚ potřebu vypracovat strategii‚ jak toho lze dosáhnout a jak získat finanční prostředky‚ na docílení co nejširšího vzdělání‚ na vypracování národního vzdělávacího programu a národního informačního zdroje‚ na nutnosti využití jiných než vlastních zdrojů k získání potřebného know-how a předpoklady‚ jak toho dosáhnout‚ na potřebu koncentrovat‚ zpřístupnit a rozšířit takto získané know how‚ na identifikaci možných zdrojů zkušeností a prostředků‚ na výhody a nevýhody postupu a na návrh možného přístupu k akceleraci oborového know-how.

Ekonomická efektivita péče o životní prostředí

Problém hodnocení ekonomické efektivnosti veřejných výdajů není dosud komplexně vyřešen v ekonomické teorii a jeho aplikace trpí různorodostí v přístupu. to se projevuje mimo jiné tím, že jak ex-ante tak ex-post evaluace nejsou v žádném případě samozřejmostí, není k dispozici jednotná metodika nebo algoritmy pro její provádění u veřejných projektů a veřejných programů včetně environmentálních. Finanční dopady opatření v oblasti životního prostředí jsou vždy specifické z hlediska zdrojů financování, tj. finanční prostředky z veřejných zdrojů, zahraničních i soukromých zdrojů. Hodnocení efektivnosti realizovaných opatření se provádí na základě komparativních metod porovnáním vynaložených finančních prostředků a dosažených přínosů. V oblasti životního prostředí se porovnávají náklady vynaložené na zlepšení životního prostředí s dosaženými environmentálními efekty (např. snížení emisí dané škodliviny do ovzduší, do vody, do půdy). Efektivita opatření realizovaných v oblasti životního prostředí je nejpodrobněji sledována v rámci Státního fondu životního prostředí ČR, který je ze zákona vybaven jak nástroji, tak i finančními prostředky. Rešerše bibliografických publikací je pokusem o zmapování situace v dané problematice.

Ekonomická efektivita péče o životní prostředí

Cílem je vyhodnotit ekonomickou efektivitu současného systému péče o životní prostředí v České republice a v Evropské unii. Projekt nejprve navrhne metodiku hodnocení efektivity péče o životní prostředí a následně ji vyhodnotí. Projekt bude zaměřen na Státní fond životního prostředí a oblast sankcí za znečišťování životního prostředí. V roce 2004 byly vypracovány rešerše péče o životní prostředí v České republice a v zahraničí a byla započata práce na metodice stanovení nákladů na životní prostředí a na metodice stanovení ceny životního prostředí.

Vytvoření podmínek pro efektivnější využívání ekonomických nástrojů: Podklady pro finanční podpory a finanční politiku MŽP

Zpráva uvádí hlavní metodické výsledky. Evidenci návrhů na finanční podpory, která řeší způsob sběru a uložení informací o připravovaných dotačních titulech. Registr návrhů na finanční podpory, který je zdrojem dat pro hodnocení návrhů na podporu, slouží jako datový sklad pro údaje potřebné k vyhodnocení efektivity návrhů na podpory. Návrh metodiky hodnocení návrhů na tituly finančních podpor, která řeší, zda a jakým způsobem daná podpora ovlivňuje životní prostředí či přírodní zdroje a zda jak slouží k naplnění cílů Státní politiky životního prostředí. Do rozhodování je zakomponován i institucionální a sociální aspekt, včetně problematiky lidských práv, udržitelného rozvoje a administrativně politických aspektů.

The role of the International Monetary Fund in solving the crisis situation in selected countries

The aim of this thesis is to clarify and assess the role of the International Monetary Fund in solving the crisis situation in selected countries. The first chapter is focused on general characteristic of the IMF. It describes country membership in this institution, operation development, financial assistance realization and also it mentions a critical view on its efficiency. The nature of existence of the IMF is described in the second chapter, which covers an analysis of financial assistance for five countries (Greece, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Ireland) and usefulness of the IMF.

This thesis deals with the analysis of the Greek crisis and with the shape of the Greek economy before the crisis. Furthermore, this work focuses on development in other European Union countries that have found themselves in similar problems, as the Greek ones. The final part of this thesis deals with provisional solutions of this crisis, at both national and international level. The thesis is divided into three main parts, which are gradually focused on meeting the objectives above.

Initial Public Offering of Shares in the Czech Republic

Capital market is an important part of the economy. Its development undoubtedly influences efficiency of the economy and thus the overall development of the country. This master thesis analyze the process of initial public offering ("IPO") in the Czech Republic, because I believe that IPO can significantly help to develop capital market and thus the entire economy. I analyze the IPO process in terms of the main factors that affect the value of issued shares and through it the basic objective of the joint-stock company in IPO, to maximize equity gained from the process of going public. The analysis shows that significant weaknesses in the Czech regulation have been removed and the IPO process is regulated on the same level and in the same extend as in other EU countries. However, IPO remains an option that many companies do not involve in their strategic planning because of its complexity and high costs. Thorough preparation and analysis of legal options of how to go public in the legal environment can maximize profits from the issue and, moreover, it contributes to achieving higher long-term profits.

The European Union Structural Funds and their use in the South-Bohemian Region

The bachelor thesis deals with the European Union Structural Funds and their use in the South-Bohemian Region. The first part attends to the regional development strategy of the European Union and to the drawing financial assistance from its funds during the pre-structural period of the Czech Republic and after its entry into the Union. The second part analyses the drawing of the structural aid in the South-Bohemian Region during the 2004-2006 programming period. Based on the acquired figures the analysis is elaborated in the form of tables and graphs.

Company purchase of own shares and financial assistance

The master thesis covers the topic of company purchasing of own shares. In the meantime, this kind of process in the life of a company has been completed by another important phenomenon -- financial assistance -- which is the second topic of this thesis. The thesis aims to analyse the changes, that have been noticed in the Czech system of law, concerning the company purchase of own shares and the financial assistance during the last eighteen years, i. e. since the Commercial Code entered into force in the Czech Republic. There are also included the reasons of the legal regulation of the process of purchasing of own shares, that are of economic, legal even ethic character. In fact, the company law in the Czech Republic has been influenced in a significant way by the European sources of law, as well as the other branches of law. Thus, the evolution of the European legal framework of the company purchase of own shares and the financial assistance, and its impact on the Czech company law, have to be mentioned. To be more illustrative, the thesis refers to the judicature of the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic, to the judicature of the Court of Justice of the European Union, and standard practice of the Securities Commission.
