Main task of this thesis is to create a gallery of architecture, design and contemporary art in close proximity of Brno ring road - on the edge of the historic city center. My proposal makes available part of the plot for the next townhouse and concentrates mass in a thin, high box, which is well accessible to the public. Showrooms are located on the top floors. Below them I placed block of workshops communicating with the street space. The entrance area leads into an atrium that divides the gallery into two parts. In this area, the interaction of all visitors takes place .

The center of Brno is already full of all types of galleries and that is why i made just 30% of the exhibition space as is specified in the assignment and the rest is also considered in a solution that could help spawn Brno art. Gallery of art, design and architecture with a focus on exhibiting spatial objects, sculptures and architectural models. Exhibition halls are designed as a public space, which culminates in the 4th floor, where the terrace with statues and the café are. Admission is based on donations. Economic support of the gallery provide workshops and accommodation. In the part of workshop sis area for creative work. The large terrace is situated at a height comparable to that of the Moravian Square. A visitor to the terrace gets exposed to contact with the square and park Koliště while away from busy roads. The entire building is extra glass facade opens into the corner toward the Moravian Square. The facade becomes a showcase of activities taking place inside as well as the terrace becomes an attraction for passers-by.

Subject of project is urban and architectural design of object on Circuit in Brno, at eastern corner of the intersection of the Koliště street and Milady Horákové street. Designed building follows existing structures and reacts on Kpt. Jaroše street. The mass is cut out which creates public space in front of building. Entrance from north leads visitors into central foyer with reception and bar. There is also temporary exhibitions gallery. 2nd to 5th floor is designed for creative workshops, studios and ateliers. Central hall is social and exhibitional place to discuss and communicate and for exhibiton of artworks. In the last floor is elevated space containing great gallery.

Parcel of land enables integration into a dissected area with a dominant corner building, which opens its parterre city and interior creates an environment for creative studios and favorable exposure using daylight for the presentation of Architecture and Design. Individual exhibit space are atypical abstract geometric shape with friendly measure of the interior, which opens through glass surfaces panoramic views of the city and sky. By moving the staircase to create new visual relationships, the inventive exposure.
