The mechanisms of specific polutants impact on aquatic communities.
Vaněčková, Hana ; Fuksa, Josef (advisor) ; Hořická, Zuzana (referee)
With a decrease of classic pollution of water ecosystems the importance of PPCP (pharmaceutics and personal care products) increases. Their amount is increasing due to human consumption and thus the input into municipal wastewater and consequently into the surface water, eventually into the ground water increases as well. This bachelor work is a review of scientific literature in the field of PPCP water load. The goal is resuming the results of the studies of the influence of these substances on freshwater aquatic communities. In the beginning the sources of the variability (in time and space) of the concentrations of these substances in rivers are resumed. But the rate of affection of the aquatic communities depends even on the length of exposure, which is longterm with regard to the continuous flow of substances from wastewater treatment plants. That is why the effect of long-term incidence on aquatic communities is intensively studied. The emphasis is put on the incidence of endocrine disruptors (substances disrupting the endocrine system), which affect e.g. the oestral cycle of some kind of exposed populations. There are observed changes in the way of perception of a predator by his prey whereas the escape reactions of the prey happen to be affected. The additive effect of ixtures of...

Economic Diplomacy in the 21st Century
Sláma, Tomáš ; Plechanovová, Běla (advisor) ; Kučerová, Irah (referee)
This study examines the changing nature of the economic diplomacy in past and recent years. Since the end of the Cold War, there has been an important dynamics in the international relations. The consequences of this dynamics touch also the economic diplomacy, which is transformed by the effects of the economic globalisation and becomes more complex and important at the same time; it becomes one of the most influental instruments of state's foreign policy. The growing complexity means that there has been new players, issues and arenas emerged. New players, state and non-state; the latter have deep impact on the nature of economic diplomacy. Bussiness sector, represented mostly by transnational companies (TNCs) and "the global civil society" represented vy international non-governmental organisations (INGOs) shift the balance of power within the state. The central role of state is challenged and his power fragmentised. Except this horisontal widening of economic diplomacy yb growing numbers of its actors, it is also deepening in terms of its agenda. The national policies become internationalised or even globalised (services, investment, enviroment, customer protection, labour standards) and the regulation of international trade puts pressure on national governements to to reconsider the strategy and their...

Innovation in strength training of ice hockey players in the youth categories
Arnošt, Pavel ; Vojta, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Pavliš, Zdeněk (referee)
Title: Innovations in ice hockey player's strength training in youth categories Objective: The main objective of this thesis was to find out the level of strength training in youth categories and after finding the results, suggest fitness techniques and equipment. Method: In this research, we chose two methods of data collection: questionnaire and observation. The final vision of the questionnaire contains 7 questions which offer us series of answers. Research was attended by 36 players of the national team selection, selected from twenty-two Czech hockey teams. We used direct observations of training units, which were recorded and put into a document. Results: The results of this thesis showed that the training process is insufficient for the development of power capacity. Based on these results, we designed new fitness techniques and equipment. The application of nursing process in two types of healthes institutions
Klementová, Marie ; Slowik, Regina (advisor) ; Tomšová, Hana (referee) ; Marečková, Jana (referee)
Bachelor's work deals with the application of nursing process in two types of healthes institutions. It balances the distance against a method of implementing putting nursing process into practice. It tries to find facilitating factors and faktors which make difficulty for the application of nursing process. Also it compares the personnel's preparedness for introdiction of nursing process . The inquiry has been provided with nonstandard's questionnaire method. The surveyed sample are nurses near sick-bed, ward nurses, senior nursing officer from surgery, internal medicine and anaesthetic-resuscitation ward and deputy of nursing care.

Visual Programming Backend for a Mobile Robot
Staněk, Ondřej ; Obdržálek, David (advisor) ; Bednárek, David (referee)
Title: Visual Programming Backend for a Mobile Robot Author: Bc. Ondřej Staněk Department: The Department of Software Engineering Supervisor: RNDr. David Obdržálek, Ph.D. Supervisor's e-mail address: David.Obdrzalek@mff.cuni.cz Abstract: In this work, the author designs and implements a solution for programming small mobile robots using a visual programming language. A suitable visual programming front-end is selected and back-end layers are created that allow execution of the program in a mobile robot. The author designs and implements a virtual machine that runs alongside the original robot firmware on an 8-bit microcontroller with limited resources. A code generator layer compiles the visual representation of the program into a sequence of bytecode instructions that is interpreted on board of the mobile robot. The solution supports typical features of procedural programming languages, in particular: variables, expressions, conditional statements, loops, static arrays, function calls and recursion. The emphasis is put on robustness of the implementation. To verify and maintain code quality, methods of automated software testing are used. The Natural Law In The Work Of Božena Komárková
Vrátníková, Petra ; Keřkovský, Pavel (advisor) ; Trojan, Jakub (referee)
Božena Komárková put her brain to a natura law/natural justice in her study of human rights. She said that a natural law is unnatural artificial human aftifact. Komárková was influenced by The Bible and a Biblical way of a justice, law and human institutions and orders. They lost their absolute validity/authenticity, they were relative in The Bible. In The Bible is not exist any natural law. There is not only one absolute Decalog - one ordinary code - in the biblical canon There are more of the Decalogs and each of them is contextualized. The Bible helps us to find new dimension (terrestrial-time, corporeality and interpersonal) of ouf being. Komárková find an influence of biblical way of thinking in The Reformation. There is adiscrepancy between a reformation way of law and a natural law. Komárková advised of a fact that Jean Calvin finished the epoch of traditional natural law thinking. Disagreement of Karl Barth with every kind of a natural law in ethical area is just his objective disagreement with a natural theology. Komárková heavy said that a natural law is far away from The Christianity. Komárková see the faith in living God as a barrier against human tendency to absolute all knowledge. Reflection of “otherness” in international relations
Kvašňák, Daniel ; Rolenc, Jan Martin (advisor) ; Doležal, Tomáš (referee)
The current migration crisis has put significant strain on the European Union and its member states. Immigration has always been a contentious issue in societies, most often facing significant opposition. By drawing on postmodern theories of international relations and Discourse Theory, this paper analyses how immigration is being increasingly securitized by the European Union and its member states along with what makes securitization the hegemonic discourse. This is done primarily with reference to identity construction through the framing of the Other, in this case the migrant, as an unwanted and externalized element. Furthermore, the paper details how the framing of the migrant as a threat to the internal security of a country strenghtend identity politics across Europe. Finally, using the Brexit campaign in the UK, the paper analyzes how the rise in identity politics in turn raises the possibility of a successful fusion of the anti-immigration discourse with the anti-EU discourse through the exploiting of societal unease.
