Comparison of the athletes and bloggers influence on the behavioral intentions of secondary school students

Title: Comparison of the athletes and blogger influence on the behavioral intentions of secondary school students Objectives: The main objective of this diploma thesis is to compare the influence of athletes and bloggers on the buying preferences of the students of Czech high school through marketing research. Methods: In the thesis are used two interdependent methods. The first of these methods is a questionnaire survey, which includes 508 respondents who were high school students during the survey. 32 respondents separated in two groups attended the second method, which is a focus group. Results: The research results show that athletes influence the behavioral intentions of secondary school students more than bloggers in every researched sphere. The main difference in effectivity is clear from the comparison between both groups by respondents. Males as a target group for internet food sale

The topic of the bachelor thesis is males as a target group for internet food sale. The objective of the thesis is to assess the behaviour of the shopping men and their attitude to online shopping. The theoretical part focuses on the area of the consumer behaviour, shopping behaviour, electronic shops and internet selling which are characterized there. The practical part contents a collection of a data using questionnaires in the electronic form. The questionnaires were sent to respondents of younger (15-44) and older (over 45) age. The results of the analysis can be used for a marketing strategy or potential sellers who deal with internet food sales.
Purchasing Behaviour of Online Supermarket Customers

The aim of the thesis was to analyze shopping behaviour of online supermarket customers in South Bohemia region and to suggests, which strategies could help the company improve its marketing communication. For this thesis was chosen an e-shop with grocery Plná taška ltd. Plná taška is the first e-shop with grocery in South Bohemia. The whole thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. Theoretical part is based on study of scientific literature and especially on more recent internet resources. In theoretical part are described terms such as consumer behaviour, specifics of retailing, e-commerce and details of online sale of food are defined. The practical part includes analyses of buying behaviour in the field of the purchasing grocery online. The analyses are based on results of questionnaire survey with data collection from 404 respondents. Based on the results of research three target groups were defined. For these groups more specific consumer behaviour was determined. Based on this consumer behaviour personas and recommendations for marketing communication for them were defined. The thesis includes proposals of banner, which can be used on social network Facebook.
The category management on the supplier´s side

The Master´s Thesis deals with the category management on the supplier´s side. The main objective of the thesis is to find the best shelf optimization for the selected categories. In the theoretical part there are defined the main terms and the category management process. The analytical part is then focused on the whole category management process in Albert. The analytical part is based on primary and secondary data. The primary data consists of quantitative questionnaire, observation and interview with customers. The secondary data are based on MML-TGI research, GfK reports and Nielsen reports. In the thesis there is a big emphasis on the customer shopping behaviour. At the end of the thesis there are given shelf proposals and recommendations to the retailer.
Functional and emotional impulses during shopping at the point of sale

The Bachelor's thesis entitled "Functional and emotional impulses during shopping at the point of sale" addresses the description of buying impulses in a retail store. It illustrates those marketing possibilities for application of impulses in communication of non-chocolate sweets at the point of sale in hypermarkets. The first theoretical part defines shopping at the point of sale, its terminology, provides information about impulsive shopping and analyse particular buying impulses and possibilities of their usage. In the second part of the theses, theoretical knowledge is used from the first part to describe in-store marketing communication tools employed by different brands of non- chocolate category at the point of sale of Czech hypermarkets. Information about buying impulses is gained from literature and on-line sources. Information about POP communication tools in hypermarkets comes from my own observation and from analytic discussion of impulses' usage with materials gathered from the theoretical part. The main focus is on description of the current situation in application of POP communication tools, especially buying impulses used in communication of sweets with customers at the point of sale.
The retail space management

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to map the space management of a selected retail unit, which is Jednota, in Kamenice nad Lipou, and propose changes interpreted through the new model. The theoretic part is focused on a concept - space management. An important part of space management includes the areas of merchandising, purchasing behaviour, shopping atmosphere and a store layout. These concepts contain possible strategies by which the sellers display their goods, optimally organize floor space and improve retail environment in a shop. The practical part is concentrated on the customer satisfaction with the arrangements of selling space. A marketing research analyses and evaluates on the basis of a questionnaire the customer satisfaction. Finally, bachelor thesis includes a new model of the business unit with proposed alterations in the store.
Proposal of the Retail Network Activity Streamline

This dissertation engages in the development of proposals for the improvement of retail networks. The goal is to propose changes in the strategy of regional retail networks, which should lead to an increase in its competitiveness. The proposed changes are based primarily on observations of selected stores, as the accuracy and functionality of internal processes can only be inspected in the retail units, which creates value for customers.
Shopping behavior of Internet users with a focus on the Czech and German Market

The thesis focuses on the purchasing behaviour of the Czech and German Internet users. Based on the primary survey and analysis of secondary sources as well as data from the Google Consumer Barometer about Czech and Germany Internet users, it identifies the similarities and differences in shopping behaviour among Czech and German Internet users. Based on the findings, the thesis provides recommendations for the Czech and German traders and the businesses considering expansion to one of these markets. It advises how they can respond most effectively to their customer needs.
