Education and training in the Islamics countries

Education and training is the term which every person deals with and it is his/her part of his/her life from birth to death. The area of education and training is a broad topic and the author of this thesis decided to examine the topic of education in Islamic countries because it is much taboo although from a global point of view it should be discussed. The bachelor thesis, "Training and education in Islamic countries", deals with big difference of these two areas in particular Islamic countries as well as difference in one country. In the first part of the thesis the general theme of Islam is introduced because the knowledge of context of this radical religion is necessary for understanding the thesis. The second part is mainly focused on the detailed training and education in different Islamic countries and their advantages and disadvantages which are stated by interviewed respondents. In a last part of the thesis the negative influence of education and training in Islamic countries and the theme of humanitarian aid are emphasized.
The Queen of Sheba in the Old Testament and in the Quran

The Queen of Sheba in the Old Testament and in the Quran Abstract: The story of the Queen of Sheba originally appears in the Bible in the book of Kings, and is repeated almost verbatim in the book of Chronicles. We see a much extended version of it in the Quran, and later, it was embellished by not only Jewish and Muslim writers, but also the Ethiopians and western Christians, as well as earning its place in folklore. This work attempts to analyze the accounts in the Bible and the Quran and show their similarities and differences, as well as offer such an interpretation of the story that could be interesting for a contemporary reader of the Holy Scriptures. I will also look into the problem of the Queen's historicity and endeavour to show possible ways in which questions about her could be answered. To this end, I will be using both traditional Biblical and Quranic commentaries and works of more unorthodox academics. Exclusivity of God's revelation according to the Bible and the relationship to other world religions, namely Buddhism and Islam

Diploma work "The exclusivity of God's revelation according to the Bible and the relationship to other world religions namely Islam and Buddhism" is about comparison between the Biblical revelation and the basic faith statements of others religions particularly Islam and Buddhism. The work also tries to answer the question if the Bible expresses the exclusivity by itself and in which area the exclusivity is the most significant for the life of believers. The aim of this work is also to look for spiritual principles that could be common with other religions as well as the principles that lead to disconnection between these religions. In the end, the work is concerning the possible ways of inter religion discussion in the context of world religion systems.
Human being by Ibn Rushd and Maimonides

This thesis interprets the concept of human being in the work of Maimonides and ibn Rushd, two representatives of major Arab and Jewish medieval philosophy. It combines the ancient Greek philosophical tradition, especially Aristotle, with a religious context. When Maimonides and Ibn Rushd tried to harmonize these two traditions, they had to deal with many opposite views, that stemmed from the difference between religious and ancient world. Behind this intellectual ground have they created the original thesis and approaches to grasping reality, the world and the human being in it. The issue of human being is analyzed in three levels. The first level consists of the relationship between human being and creation, which addresses the question about origin of the world the human soul and the resurrection. The second level, i.e. the man and the world, is devoted to describing a scheme of the world, human knowledge and the theory of prophecy. Ethical and political views are analyzed on the third level, which represents the position of human being in relation to the polis. The Identity and Status of Women in Islam on the example of Muslim Women in the Czech Republic

Goal of the thesis "The identity and status of women in islam on the exaple of muslim women in the Czech Republic" is to describe how muslim women who live in the Czech Republic perceives their identity and status and how they look on women who live in some muslim surroundings. The theoretical part is describing islam like the second most widespread religion in the world, the use of faith in everyday life and then this part is describing the situation of women in connection with their socio-legal status. In analytical part of the thesis is used qualitative research methods in the form of half-structuralized interviews. This interviews were recorded with ten muslim women who was born in Czech Republic or they live here for a long time. Questions were divided into four groups, which largely concerned the status of women and men in family, the status of women on Qur´an and islam and also by life itself of muslim women in the Czech Republic. Also, this part aims to describe how converting women perceive the role of women in the muslim surroundings.
Criminal law in the Czech Republic and in Islamic countries

The aim of this bachelor's dissertation is primarily to increase knowledge about Czech criminal law and to introduce Islamic criminal law. The work is in particular focused on criminal law - the development of criminal law and its sources, criminal liability of the individuals, offenses and types of penalties. The most essential chapter of the dissertation is the third one, whereas these two regulations are compared and where are also emphasized their mutual differences.
Modern Sacral Architecture.
PODROUŽKOVÁ, Petra
The thesis deals with European sacral architecture of the twentieth and the twenty-first century. Particularly, it refers to Judaic, Roman-Catholic and Islamic buildings. The second part puts into historical context the sacral constructions of individual religions including their function, characters and typology. In the third part of this thesis the representative sample of significant modern sacral constructions is selected, always under circumstances regarding their creation, the urban description and the setting in a specific location as well as the architectural layout, the interior arrangment and a possible use of special technological procedures at their construction. The mutual comparison and the evaluation of the modern European sacral architecture development are carried out in the fourth part. This section notices the function and the usage of light and presents some extraordinary buildings from this point of view. The final fifth part tries to answer the question, how a modern temple should look like.
Czech-Islamic marriages from the viewpoint of gender

The thesis is deal with Czech-Islamic marriages from the viewpoint of gender. The first part characterises the basic concepts, marriage traditions in a purely Czech society, the issue of gender in the Czech marriage, marriage traditions in a truly Islamic society, Islamic marriage, gender issues, gender issues in Czech-Islamic marriage, the ethical impact of migration, including the ethical impact of cultural migration, potential misuse of the Institute to ensure family reunification residence permit in the Czech Republic, an example of migration, with specific policy approach in France. The practical part includes a rationale for selecting the research sample, showing the chosen research methodology. Based on the interviews is confirmed by the hypothesis of the thesis that the cultural influence of gender, as a bearer of a different conception of the of man-woman gender in Islamic culture, and Czech, respectively. Czech-Islamic marriages is a significant factor in causing marital disharmony. Mutual two-way cultural knowledge, as well as the presence of tolerance, love and truth, is a prerequisite to guarantee the functional relationship. This fact is verified by the Czech-Islamic couple, in the final case report.
Women in Islamic World - Family and Society

The dissertation deals with the position of women in the Islamic world, with their role in the relation to the family and society. The first part includes the detailed acquaintance with Islam, its origin and mission. The second part describes what means to be a woman in the Islamic society and the traditions the Islam makes prior. It shows the differences in the position of women in the selected countries and also in the relation to the economic conditions and standard of living. It provides the view of the field which is absolutely obvious for a certain part of mankind, a natural part of their life but totally unknown for another part of mankind, recalling the feeling of harm and oppression. I have tried to provoke a reader {--} based on the provided information {--} to be more deeply interested in the Islam itself and also in the morality of the human society.
Upbringing of Children and Juveniles in Islamic or mixed Families in Germany. A Research on their everyday Life.

This diploma deals with children and the youth upbringing in Muslim or mixed families in Germany and tries to form a picture of their everyday life. This work?s heart consists of theoretical and practical chapters. The theoretical part provides basic information about Islam and children upbringing in Islamic families. These facts are grounded on knowledge emanating from the Koran and statements of Mohammed the prophet. Following theoretical chapters include an essay on the school life of the Muslim children and the role of the Islamic community. The practical part is composed of the evaluation of a questionnaire which was created for purposes of the study of the everyday life of these families. On this study basis, general conclusions will be drawn.
