The Authority of the Teacher.
Šolcová, Karin ; Mazáčová, Nataša (referee) ; Janošová, Pavlína (advisor)
Diploma thesis describes teacher authority from many views. It clarifies conception of the authority and it deals with the role of authority in the society and in the education. Thesis characterizes authority in the range of teaching and it focuses especially on teacher impact during pedagogical work. Diploma thesis investigates factors that effect teacher authority from student's and teacher's views respectively. Data from question-forms, which were obtained from eight schools from different cities, are basis for this work. respondents participated in this investigation. respondents were students and only 13 respondents were teachers. Results from this investigation validate authority as a necessity in the teaching and show types of competences that underline teacher authority. On other hand, manifestation of factors that attenuate teacher authority revealed complexity of interactions between teacher and student. Also severity of teacher work implies from presented investigation.

Different Points of View on Children Born with Mental Disabilities
Havelková, Eva ; Šiška, Jan (advisor) ; Zemková, Jaroslava (referee)
My diploma work called "Various aspects on a birth of mental disabled child" ties together with my bachelor work, which I wrote at Evangelic Theological Faculty at Charles Univerzity. In this bachelor work I was interested in the basical rights of mental disabled people. I taught the topic of a right to live. The meaning of this question grows with the developement of new biotechnology as an artificial insemination, an antenatal diagnostics, a miscarriage and a gene therapy. The other important question talks about the mother rights. These questions traditonally pronounce physicians, philosophers, theologians and sociologists of medicine. However special pedagogues should as well think about and participate in discussions about this topic. Special education comes to the new period with currently knowledges of not only human genome. That is why I target the bioethic sphere, different opinions and possibilities of special pedagogue's treating. in my diploma work, because bioethic spere touch the special education. I come out from historical point of view, from attitudes formulated in our history and from society attitudes to disabled individuals. The work of special pedagogues in this area should focus at disabled people and their parents who decided to take care of the child and at people who are just...

Formation of spatio-temporal molecular gradients in early embryonic development of Xenopus laevis.
Šídová, Monika ; Tlapáková, Tereza (advisor) ; Pěknicová, Jana (referee) ; Petr, Jaroslav (referee)
Clarifying the underlying spatio-temporal mechanisms that determine body pattern is important for detailed understanding of embryonic development. A crucial question of vertebrate embryogenesis remains: when and how are single blastomeres determined for differentiation that subsequently leads to body axes specification and the formation of different tissues and organs? The answer to this question will be beneficial for primary research as well as in the field of applied medicine. The main aim of the presented thesis was to study spatio-temporal molecular gradients of cell fate determinants during early embryonic development. The African clawed frog Xenopus laevis was used as a model organism because of their large size of oocytes and external embryonic development. Due to late activation of embryonic transcription, a crucial mechanism of early blastomeres determination is dependent on asymmetric localization of maternal factors within oocyte and their uneven distribution into single blastomeres during early cell division. Two main localization patterns were identified along the animal-vegetal axis of the mature Xenopus oocyte using qPCR tomography. The localization gradient with preference in either animal or vegetal hemisphere was found for maternal mRNA as well as miRNAs. Moreover, two vegetal...

Orientation and mobility of individuals , who suffer from visual impairment with white stick with focus on the time of origin
TOMANOVÁ, Katarína
This bachelor thesis named "Orientation and mobility of individuals, who suffer from visual impairment with white stick to focus of origin" examines visually impaired individuals, whose sight is damaged to such a degree, that they are forced to use white stick as a compensation tool for spatial orientation. Visually handicapped people are unable to visually accept information from their surroundings, so they have to compensate this with the help of their touch and hearing senses. This can be accomplished only on condition, that there is a short distance. When there is a longer distance, they have to rely on another compensation tools, for instance white stick, which helps them to improve orientation and mobility skills. This thesis consists of three parts- theoretical one, practical one and appendix. There are five chapters in theoretical part. First chapter focus on anatomy and pathology of the organ of vision, its examination methods, sorting of congenital and acquired visual impairments and disorder of visual trajectory. The second chapter focus on person with visual impairment, especially the history of care for visually impaired, visual functions, their categories. How is the influence visual impairment that this handicap has on personal development, and finally it also describes people with visual impairment congenital and people with visual impairment acquired. The third chapter focus on counselling equipment, it define Center for early care and Special education center for people with visual impairment. The penultimate chapter focus on the spatial orientation, especially the division of areas of education, significance of spatial orientation, its sorting in the form of upbringing and orientation, principles of the movement itself and compensation tools. The last chapter further deals with history and currency of white stick, techniques of its use- like holding the stick and walking technique and who is a supposed user. Practical part was realized through qualitative research method, in order to achieve set goals. Data were collected in the form of semi structured interview and anamnesis (f. The interview was formed with prepared open questions, which focus on spatial orientation and white stick topic. Six different respondents were chosen for final data collection. Evaluation of data was carried out through analysis. All data and personal statements were at first sorted and classified and then noted into the list of results. This results are classified into charts in chapter 8.4. Evaluation od the data obtained, for better statement. List of results consist of identification data, category and diagnosis of visual impairment and also subjective opinions of respondents related to spatial orientation and white stick. In the discussion part were compared results of information given by respondents to the claim of theoretical part. The research has confirmed that white stick as a compensation tool helps visually impaired people to improve spatial orientation, also in the case of longer distance and unknown locations. Visually impaired individuals can nowadays thanks to the modern technologies get closer to the majority population of nowadays society, for instance with the possibility of more compensational tools connected to the white stick. Findings in this paper can improve general knowledge of spatial orientation, movement and white stick. It could also work as a subject for further research. After revision could be this thesis use as education material of spatial orientation and separate movement.

Left ventricle remodeling in patients with primary aldosteronism and essential hypertension
Indra, Tomáš ; Holaj, Robert (advisor) ; Ošťádal, Petr (referee) ; Paleček, Tomáš (referee)
Myocardial damage is one of the most serious consequences of arterial hypertension. Changes in the heart structure and function develop not only due to pressure overload itself, but many other hemodynamic and neurohumoral factors contribute to their formation. Our work has compared echocardiohraphic strucutural anf functional changes of the left ventricle, caused by essential hypertension and hypertension associated with primary aldosteronism (PA) as the most common reason for secondary hypertension. The first part of our work focused on the differences in left ventricle geometry in men with PA and essential hypertension after separating it's low-renin form (where, similarly to PA, the plasma volume expansion was considered to have the dominant effect on left ventricle remodelation). In men with low-renin forms of hypertension including PA, we observed greater both endsystolic and enddiastolic diameter of the left ventricle, lower relative wall thickness and more frequent eccentric type of hypertrophy when compared to essential hypertensives with normal renin levels. Whereas left ventricle cavity diameters were positively correlated to aldosterone levels, wall thicknesses were associated mainly with hypertension severity expressed as an average 24hour blood pressure and number of antihypertensives....

The influences on the incidence of orofacial clefts in Czech Republic
Bayer, Jiří ; Dušková, Markéta (advisor)
Cleft lip and palate is one of the most common congenital developmental defects . Morphological character defect has severe negative functional effects on swallowing , breathing, chewing and speech formation . aesthetically , the This is a significant handicap facial triad that affects the most overall facial appearance . Approximately 15 % of children have a defect associated with other disabilities , but isolated defect is neither lethal nor associated with mental failure . It is clear that the defect is a problem both health psychological and socio-economic . Therefore , the issue of treatment of patients with cleft recognized worldwide as so important that in this respect works close international cooperation, which is also included Czech Republic . It should be emphasized that the solution to the question of facial clefts has in the Czech Republic long tradition whose beginnings are associated with on behalf of Professor František Burian and Plastic Surgery Clinic in Prague, where he is currently the Center for cleft defects . The Czech Republic has center two , one already mentioned in Prague and one in Brno.

Effect of a soft tissue on vocal tract acoustic resonance properties in vocal exercises using phonation into tubes
Radolf, Vojtěch ; Horáček, Jaromír ; Laukkanen, A. M.
Mathematical model is introduced to clarify the influence of the vocal tract soft tissues on the acoustic resonance (formant) frequencies. The influence is studied in the context of voice therapy technique that uses phonation into tubes. Strong acoustc-structural interaction is demonstrated to take place in the vocal tract when it is prolonged by a tube with the distal end in air or submerged 2 cm and 10 cm in water. The numerical results from the model are compared with the resonance frequencies measured in humans.
