Vyhlídalová, Lucie ; Manová, Ludmila (referee) ; Menšíková, Naděžda (advisor) ; Šuhajda, Karel (advisor)
The project of Romany Housing is located in Brno, the urban district Maloměřice. Architecturally, it is designed as a low-rise row housing, taking into consideration the special requirements of the Romani community, such as living in larger families. Functionally, the structure is designed as a socialized housing with certain level of government support. The housing development is variable. The basis of the project are two types of houses, which alternate in the row-house structure. Moreover, each one of these types also offers different solutions altering the capacity. The houses are designed to be easily extended, even while being used. The construction is wooden, using environmentally-friendly material for cladding – ecopanels. The rows of houses follow the perimeter of the parallelogram of the site and create a peaceful relaxation area in the middle, suitable for free time activities. From the architectural point of view, the new housing development fits into the current image of the location in this quiet part of Brno, which is dominated by small houses with gabled roofs. The new buildings are characterized by asymmetrical gable and windows playfully placed in an asymmetrical pattern. Another distinctive element is the facade, which combines trapezoidal metal sheet and wooden cladding.

Švéda, Petr ; Fišer, Jiří (referee) ; Odvárka, Antonín (advisor) ; Štěpánek, Ladislav (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis solves one of the buildings of an extensive designed urban area in Mikulášek Square in Starý Lískovec, Brno. The area is spreading between two rows of eight-floor-blocks. Main goal of this project is to preserve the green areas for recreation purposes and to create an urban square that will be used as a public space with all of the community functions. That goal is accomplished by using the green roofs, the buildings, sunken halfway under a surrounding terrain, and by the soil-covered back sides of building. That enables access to the roofs for public; roofs become a part of the park. The organic-shaped urban “double-square” is spanned by a pedestrian bridge for an easier traffic. The main idea of The Cultural Center proposal is based on variability of space. Around the cultural hall, from all four sides, there is a gallery, which enables wider usage (e. g. for an avant-garde theatre performance). A huge multi-level common and an exhibition space are ones of most important spaces. The visitors will be able to have an exhilarating experience of exciting dimension of space. The Cultural Center is connected to surroundings via both floors. That makes it possible to organize some outdoor cultural performances which can easily continue to the interior.
Park of Culture Brno
Tesařová, Zuzana ; Fišer, Jiří (referee) ; Odvárka, Antonín (advisor) ; Petříček, Tomáš (advisor)
The goal of this project is to design a new cultural and social center in Brno on the Mikulasek Square, Starý Lískovec. The main idea of the project was not only to design a building that would perfectly serve its purpose, but it was also to create a lively enviroment to meet people and to spend the leisure time. It was not required to detract the green areas in this housing estate. So there was a park created on the new building’s roofs. This is how the omitted place got its character and use. There are two buildings designed under the ground level and a bridge that helps the continuity of the park. On the south side in front of the main entrances there is a space with outdoor stage and auditorium followed by a wide ramp that meanders between the two buildings. The ramp was situated to the center of the project in order not to set aside the invalids. In front of the buildings there is also an area called ‚park square‘ which is formed by an irregular grass surfaces and pathes that lead to a various directiones. This space was designed according to an analysis of the people’s movement in this area. There are trees planted and the pathes are lined with long wooden rectangular-shaped benches.
Centre of Culture Brno
Pieleszová, Katarzyna ; Teplý, Vladimír (referee) ; Odvárka, Antonín (advisor) ; Štěpánek, Ladislav (advisor)
The goal of this project is to design a new cultural centre building in the locality Brno-Starý Lískovec, Mikulášovo square. The building site is situated between two separate blocks of flats. The principle of this draft lies in a simple combination of compositional axes. The first axis is the square’s axis of symmetry, the second one represents the distinctive shapes of the built up area from the 60’s and the third one expresses a certain metaphorical axis of the landscape panorama. This connection of lines created material which, after consideration of space requirements of all the workflows and traffic, provided the final shape. The whole object is functionally divided into two parts – the cultural centre itself as the core, and the attached sub-parts. Among the supplemental facilities there are areas dedicated for a cafeteria, a bookshop with artistic theme and an exhibition space. The objective was to create a compact structure which would allow an unlimited movement across those facilities. An important part of the exterior is the façade. The building changes “moods” during the day, the colours and shades change with the sun going down. This idea includes a plan of exterior passage which can guide visitors to the main entrances. The outside areas are designed for relaxation and art.
Residential Complex in Brno - Komín
Ertl, Jakub ; Čelikovský, Martin (referee) ; Makovský, Zdeněk (advisor)
Urban Risen Solution parcel located on the street Pasture in the city of Brno chimney. The property is located on the edge of the city district and directly continues the surrounding forest, which is on the east side. The plot is an avenue of chestnut trees that proposal preserves intact. Oklí are good amenities. In its narrowest surroundings there are elementary school and kindergarten with their priľahlími Sports and satellites family townhouses on the south side of the property. After the eastern and northern boundary leads IMPORTANT relaxing walking routes on which the proposal responds through-beds, and a "restoration" of pastures, which once was located here. Land would extend that oľúbenú Walking and served by community residents as well as the city of the chimney. The project also own community náveznosťou room with a plate of street furniture. Architectural design Material objects based on the elongated shape of the land and is divided into three apartment buildings. Distributes land to the "street" and the "grazing". The volume responds to building orientation sides are angled wings housing the south and west. All the apartments are so perfect sunlit and overlook the "pasture". On the north side of the building they are arranged in the form of communication zasklennej galleries. The porch with loggias flats made up of separate steel structure, which forms the form of these apartment buildings. The main module becomes one living room, ensuring good housing variability. The building is located only forty apartments of sizes 1 + kk to 5 + kk apartment with terrace. Parking is in the combined form of overhead and underground parking. Building Solutions The building is designed as a reinforced concrete skeleton with dimensions of 8600 mm x 6600 mm with stiffening communication core. The shell is insulated with thermal insulation with a thickness of 200 mm. Area building openings is minimized on the north facade and vice versa is open to south and west facades, which benefits the passive energy gain. These construction holes are filled with high quality aluminum windows and doors with Triple glazing. On the frame is attached a separate steel construction porches and balcony. This concept allows a perfect insulation shell fired by a separate steel structures unheated porch and balcony, and hence a considerable degree of energy efficiency.
Genetická a morfologická variabilita skupiny \kur{Melampyrum nemorosum}
DRAHNÍK, Petr
Melampyrum nemorosum agg. is very complicated group of hemiparasitic plants. According to the traditional concept, 15 species is distinguished. Recent molecular analyses show a need of critical taxonomic revision of group and a potential importance of ancient hybridization. Analysis of 3 regions of cpDNA (trnTUGU-trnLUAA, psbA-trnHGUG, rpl32-trnLUAG) and 2 regions of nuclear DNA (Agt1 and At103) reveals well supported lineage with limited geographical distribution. Morphology and genome size of genetically supported lineages were compared.

Variability of the linear description of the Noric horses
NĚMCOVÁ, Hana
Noriker horse is native to alpine regions covering the territory of present-day Austria. From there it was extended to the Czech countries through trade routes and import of salt. This thesis deals with the variability of linear evaluation of Noric horses with emphasis on the last 15 years. In this period there were assessed and recorded in studbooks total of 707 Noric horses belonging to 25 recognized lines and 4 lines of imported stallions. For all 22 characters of the linear frequency has been identified individual point values, which corresponded to the normal distribution. Most were represented values around the center point scale. The largest variability of scores has a character type, where the range score is 3 to 9. Between the 5-year periods were found diffe-rences in tenths of the value of the average score from the overall average. Most ba-lanced assessment for each period can be found at the rear pastern character, where the average score in 2005-2009 decreased by 0, 01 than average and the character set of the neck for the period 2010-2014 by 0, 02 higher. The smallest balance of evalu-ation can be observed in the length of the stern, for the period 2000-2004 the average score increased by 0.89 and in the following period lower by 0, 94 than the average. Furthermore, in line with more than 40 individuals, the average scores for in-dividual characters are almost balanced, only Maltum line most sets itself apart, in 6 characters, in the character tap length is the average score by 0.28 higher than average. In lines with less than 40 but more than 20 individuals are significant diffe-rences between the lines due to the small number of evaluated subjects, the most stri-king differences can be observed at line 2934 Hubert Nero IX, which has the most representatives. The highest average score 6.65 amounted line 1542 Nero Diamant VI which is by 1, 02 higher than the average.
