Considerable attention is devoted differences between underwritting in life and non-life insurance. Emphasis is put on differentiation of standardized and individualized type of insurance. The diploma paper is also dealt with specific process of risk management in insurance company.

Pet insurance - Analysis of the pet insurance in the Czech insurance market

The essay is attended to the analysis of the veterinary care insurace of a dog or cat including its other possible additional insurances. This kind of insurance is familiarly called the pet insurance. It depicts the insurace at its general level, introduces us to its history and its legislature and finaly to its market situation. Using the factual examples it compares price offers of each possible insurance company separately.

Diploma thesis focuses on definition of investments both from economic (financial) and accounting point of view. It solves question of all institutional investors at financial market -- which assets to choose in order to have their investments placed in safe, profitable and liquid way. Besides question -- how to place the investments -- specific aspects of financial reporting under Czech accounting standards and International Financial Reporting Standards are discussed. Practical part analyzes actual financial investments of insurance companies operating at czech insurance market.

Analýza nabídek pojišťoven na on-line pojištění v ČR a srovnání s jejich mateřskými společnostmi v zahraničí

The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to analyze on-line insurance offers of insurance companies in the Czech Republic. This thesis defines general information from insurance areas. It represents selected companies, characterizes their status on the insurance market, informs readers about services and gives a complex survey of on-line insurance offers. Part of thesis is an description of web sites and a behaviour of applications for conclusion of a insurance contract. There is also characteristic of a controlling company attached for each insurance subject with description of web pages that offers on-line insurance. Part of this thesis is also mutual comparison of insurance subjects in the Czech republic and a comparison with their controlling companies. The comparison will be done on base of chosen criteria. The end point of analysis presents evaluations and explanations of differences among proposals of separate companies and recommendation for companies in the Czech republic for a purpose to satisfy needs of their customers in better and more effective way.

First of all I will try to do some theoretic base. From the history of insurance, risk specifications and classification of insurance to the head subject: demage liability (or third-party risks). I will also say something about dodgers, marketing insurance mix and subjects on the insurance market etc. I have to introduce insurance companies and I will try to make some case studies to illustrate the offer on the Czech insurance market.

The insurance fraud issue in the Czech Republic

The thesis is being concerned with one of the serious criminal acts causing each year damages worth hundrends of millions Czech crowns. The main aim of the thesis is to provide a complex view of the problems. The thesis analyses the issue from both legal and economic angle of view, deals with the insurance fraud typology and proves the theory by evidence of particular cases. The thesis thereinafter discovers causations of commiting insurance frauds and describes the insurence fraud abatment. In the end the thesis tries to disclose the weak points of the system of prevention, to point at them and to come up with the improvement suggestions and recommendations.
