In order to achieve this goal a research has been made the objects of which were 7-year-old children (i.e. the first class) and 12-year-old children (fifth class), both attending the same Prague-based basic school. In total, 30 children (15 of each category) participated; in each group the number of girls exceeded that of boys (8:7). The research is based on the Colour Semantic Differential Test. It is evident from the results that 7-year-old children perceive the term 'death' as an ambivalent word while 12-year-old children understand 'death' as a word having a negative connotation.

Aspects of financing the LBO acquisitions
Durdil, Lukáš ; Jílek, Josef (advisor) ; Rybáček, Václav (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the acquisition of companies by means of the Leveraged Buyout (LBO) method. This method differs in many respects from the standards M&A. This work examines the specific features of the given business transactions from the viewpoint of the target companies, procedures and entities involved in these transactions. As the key element of the LBO method is the debt financing of the acquisition, the work also deals with this aspect and evaluates the positions of the creditors from the viewpoint of the influence on the stability of the financial system. The thesis further analyses the question whether the LBO method has an effect leading to an increased effectiveness of processes in a company, or whether, conversely, the proceeds of acquisition investors are a consequence of a transfer of values from other entities. The text is based on available theoretical and empirical sources which are supplemented by the author's analyses.

This phenomenological method of work has many similarities to several famous methods and approaches, for example Satir' s constellations, Moreno's psychodrama, Rieger' s island offamily. Iťs usually presented as controversial method. We tried to present its philosophy, its procedure and signify its position in Czech Republic. We wanted to :find out, which psychologicals or therapeutics phenomena can be seen during its process. Main importance of this work is in presentation of subjective evaluation and personal experiences of people, who actually attempted this method, to help them with their problems and personal development. Based on interviews with them we were looking for what does this method brings to clients, whether does it help, whether it is according to their opinion effective or not.

Rozdíly mezi pohlavími jako reakce na prodejní pobídky
Solilyak, Maryna ; Král, Petr (advisor) ; Zlatić, Marija (referee)
Today, more and more similar products in one product line appear on store shelves, and buying decisions have become more complicated for the consumer. Despite this, producers have a clear vision that one of the most effective tools that can be used to distinguish their products is sales promotion. Nevertheless, every customer is unique, and the responses to sales promotion tools differ as well. The reason for sales promotion campaigns success depends on the depth of understanding of consumer behaviour. In order to create a successful communication campaign, marketers should be aware in the best ways of reaching the desired consumers. In this work we will take a look at the gender differences in consumer behaviour. In particular, we would like to see different responses toward men and women toward sales promotion campaigns.
