Application of sustainability principles in transport
Nevrlá, Alice ; Sluková, Michaela (referee) ; Holcner, Petr (advisor)
This master’s thesis summarizes the sustainable transport issues and practical applications in this field. It also deals with components of non-sustainable transport, European Union's policy and explores the theory of externalities in sustainable transport. On a practical example - parking in the Brno city center, is finding a solution to the problem of insufficient parking capacity, using principles of sustainable transport
Mobile IPv6 handover analysis
Klügl, Richard ; Hošek, Jiří (referee) ; Skořepa, Michal (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on IP mobility support for mobile users and their devices in IPv6-based wireless networks. Then the Mobile IPv6 (MIPv6) protocol was proposed for this purpose and that is also the main objective of the thesis. This consists of several basic sections and is organized as follows: The first one deals with the overview of the function of Mobile IP, which enables the mobility of nodes around the Internet, without a change of their original IP address. Moreover there are introduced the primary differences between MIPv6 and its previous version – i.e., MIPv4, proposed for IPv4-based environment. The second chapter of the master’s thesis thereafter describes detailed information about all the most important mechanisms and features of Mobile IPv6 and this way tries to explain principles of its functioning. Further the thesis analyses some of proposed MIPv6 extensions – i.e., Hierarchical Mobile IPv6 (HMIPv6), Mobile IPv6 Fast Handover (FMIPv6) a Fast Handover for HMIPv6 (F-HMIPv6) protocols, and mainly aim at signaling process during the handover of a mobile node. In the last main section of the master’s thesis an analytical method to evaluate the performance of IPv6-based mobility management protocols was proposed. Subsequently, this method is applied on the protocols which were mentioned above and are studied the effects of various network parameters on the performance of these protocols.
Mobile IPv6 in OPNET Modeler
Žáček, Martin ; Růčka, Lukáš (referee) ; Skořepa, Michal (advisor)
Master’s thesis includes knowledges about mobility support in IPv4 networks and studies abilities for mobility support in IPv6 networks. Describes protocols for mobility support, their functions and topologies like MIPv6 (RFC 3775), FMIPv6 (RFC 5568), HMIPv6 (RFC 5380) and F-HMIPv6. The thesis contains a design of the simulation MIPv6 in the OPNET Modeler program and the measured results are explained. There are analysis of source code for mobility support in MIPv6 too, which were used for design a new protocol according to FMIPv6 in the OPNET. The following parts of the proposal have been successfully resolved. The link-layer events detection, which triggers FMIPv6 protocol and implementation of two new types of messages, RtSolPr and PrRtAdv. Knowledges from this thesis could be used for next development of FMIPv6 in the OPNET. But could be used for generaly development new protocols working at network-layer too.
Localization protocol for WSN with support of node mobility
Votava, Martin ; Šimek, Milan (referee) ; Holešinský, Pavel (advisor)
Work is focused on wireless sensor networks. The main theme is the mobility and localization in these networks. This work describes different methods and capabilities of mobile and localization schemes. This work describes a new localization protocol for wireless sensor networks. Finally, there is included a new protocol in the simulation at Network Simulator 2 and evaluate the results obtained.
Determination of hazardous elements in soils with different anthropogenic contamination using sequential extraction analysis
Židek, Michal ; Sommer, Lumír (referee) ; Doležalová Weissmannová, Helena (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals about determination of hazardous elements and their mobility in soils from Brno and Ostrava. For extraction of soil samples was used sequential extraction by Tessier and BCR sequential extraction. Extraction by nitric acid was also used. Mercury was determinated by the advanced mercury analyser AMA 254. Lead, copper and zinc were determinated by the flame atomic absorption spectrometry. Cadmium and vanadium were determinated by the electrotermic atomic absorption.
Railway (flexible space)
Smržová, Kristýna ; Štěpán, Marek (referee) ; Mléčka, Jan (advisor)
Finding new use for the existing railway tracks, which prove themselves as one of the best ways to carry heavy or sizable load. Therefore they have an ability to carry a space. Verification of merging railway with everyday life. Design of a modular units and modifiable structures. Utilization of modern technologies. Demonstration of a proposal of a design using typical examples of railway structure and its surroundings. Taking advantage of railway tracks, unused train stations, neighboring unused industry grounds etc. Description: New possibilities of using railway tracks and surrounded unused sites. Design of modular structures adapted according to selected areas. Utilization of modern technologies.
Mobile Wood Splitter
Stuchlík, Jakub ; Malášek, Jiří (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the issues of the mobile wood splitter. The first part describes the basic division of splitters in the market. I am going to choose the most suitable solution for my assignment. In the second part I am going to focus on the calculation of strength and checking of chosen type of the splitter.
Mobile Machineries Used for Grinding of Aggregates and Recycled Materials from Building Waste
Hurník, Štěpán ; Malášek, Jiří (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis is the introduction to the problem of grinding natural materials and recycling building waste by mobile crushing machinery. The first part of work includes a detailed description of crushers themselves and differences between them. Next basic machine development is dealt with, as well as questions evoked by this topic. These questions are concerned with the mobility and problems of recycling. Further, there are current market offers for the preformance given. It deals with the parameters of the individual machines, on which their mutual comparison is given and displayed in graphs. The final part of the thesis consists of the general evaluation of machines for the above-mentioned purposes from different points of view: comparsion, market supply and a careful view into the possible future progress.
Chromium and chromium species cycle in environment
Nevrlá, Jana ; Sommer, Lumír (referee) ; Dočekalová, Hana (advisor)
This work focuses in the first theoretical part mainly on the possibility of entering various forms of chromium into the environment, their accumulation and transformation in environmental compartments. There are also described methods of sampling for analytical determination of chromium, the type of treatment of these samples and the most analytical methodologies for the determination of chromium in the oxidation stage III and VI. The experimental part is focused on the quantitative determination of Cr(III) and Cr(VI) in waste water, taken from the neutralizatoin station of the Chemical faculty of Brno University of Technology, by using selected spectrophotometric methods and the obtained results are compared with the results of analytical determination of total chromium by atomic absorption spectrometry.
Evacuation of Disabled Persons from Hight Buildings
Marek, Milan ; Mika, Otakar Jiří (referee) ; Kyselák, Jan (advisor)
In the introductory part the Bachelor´s thesis solves an evacuation of people complex, especially its inclusion in valid legislation of Czech Republic. Secondly, the categorization of incidents and means of separation of evacuation. Then, this work gradates to an evacuation of persons with reduced mobility, with a focus on social care sphere. The aim is to define an incident and all factors affecting the evacuation of persons and the identification of facilities of escape routes in buildings with residential care. In the last part of my work are described recent state solutions of people evacuation in social care institutions, based on monitoring made of selected residental care providers.
