This diploma thesis is focused on creating an optimized e-shop model for the company. The theoretical basis includes e-shop and e-marketplace characteristics and deals with legal aspects important for e-commerce. The practical part describes a determined company and analyses chosen competing e-shops. The model of optimized e-shop is created on the basis of theoretical knowledge and this analysis.

This paper focuses on the electronic trade in the Czech Republic and on its current state. Goal of the thesis is to formulate the strategy for employing and operation of the electronic shop which would be understandable for the wide public and create a concrete proposal of the electronic shop including the strategy for the submitter. Theoretical part of the thesis focuses on defining the electronic shop as a concept. There is also an analysis of the current state in the Czech Republic there. Empirical part then formulates the strategy for implementation and operation of the electronic shop and makes a proposal of the strategy for the submitter.

Factors influencing the choice of e-shop in the shopping process

The first chapter covers the basics of the Internet as well as the strenghts and weaknesses of online shopping and data collection. The second chapter describes the decision-making process of the consumer along with possibilities of communications with customers and the differences between the bricks-and-mortar and the online customers. The third chapter provides research and results evaluation methods. The fourth chapter describes the selected search portals that help customers with the choice where to shop. The last chapter is devoted to the results of quantitative and qualitative research together with the recommendation of elements that an online store should include.

Analysis of the e-Commerce market

This work focuses on market analysis of e-Commerce in the "broad" concept. The main goal is to provide a comprehensive view of e-Commerce market in segments B2B, B2C, C2C, C2B including paid and open source e-Commerce platforms. Capture the current state of market leaders in various segments. The analysis used a freely available analysis published by analytical (eg Euromonitor, Goldman Sachs, internetretailer.com), statistical data from the ČSÚ, Eurostat. To determine the market leaders have been working with web analytics alexa.com and own website of individual leaders. The main contribution of this work is to provide a comprehensive view of e-commerce market in the "broad" concept including a comparison of advantages and disadvantages of open source and paid platforms including the evaluation effects and restrictions of E-Commerce. The first chapter defines the main principles of e-Commerce in terms of e-commerce as part of enterprise information systems and in terms of e-commerce business model as a basis. Chapter also describes the main e-marketing tools that are associated with e-Commerce. The second chapter evaluates books which were used for writing this bachelor thesis. The third chapter reviews the effects of e-Commerce, especially the pros, cons, benefits and limitations.The fourth chapter is divided into two parts. The first part analyzes the world market and the second part analyzes the czech market. A general view of the market leaders determine the individual segments and specific performance leading body of the segment are the several parts of the analysis. The fifth chapter compares the paid and open source platforms including the determination of the market leaders.
Payment methods in czech e-shops B2C

This bachelor thesis analyzes current methods and trends when paying via the Internet in the Czech environment of the B2C segment. Firstly, specifications of each payment system are described and the main focus is placed on specific payment systems that are currently available on the market. The description is based on criterions that involve comparison in a very simple way. Online payment gates that provide an integrated system of several methods are introduced in detail. The experience and preferences of customers when paying for goods and services online are then included in the results of the questionnaire. The main objective of the thesis is to help both sides, customer and merchant, to get insight into this issue. After reading this thesis, the merchant should be capable of making the right decision about which payment systems are suitable for his/her e-shop. On the other hand, the customer should be capable of choosing the most comfortable and suitable method which that particular e-shop accepts.
