Actual state in the 2015 year of the Nun Moth (Lymantria monacha) in the Brdy region
Vondřich, Vladimír ; Šrůtka, Petr (advisor) ; Nakládal, Oto (referee)
This thesis aims to analyze actual state of the nun moth (Lymantria monacha L.) in the Brdy region in the year 2015. The main objective was to determine its population density. For the research several sites were selected in which three monitoring methods were used: adhesive tree bands, dropping method and pheromone-baited traps. The results revealed that the nun moth only occurs in the forest in minimal numbers. Another objective was to evaluate colour forms of moths and determine connection between colour forms of caterpillars and moths. For the lack of captured caterpillars no results were acquired. The majority of moths caught on pheromone-baited traps had gray colouring and relatively small number of moths (21%) had basic (white) colouring.

Air Quality in the Indoor Environment of Libraries and Archives
Mašková, Ludmila ; Smolík, Jiří
The aim of this study is to investigate concentrations and sources of airborne PM and gaseous pollutants in the indoor environment of the archives, and to establish the relationship between the indoor and outdoor environment. In 2012 the measurements take place at Zlatá Koruna and Třeboň and in 2013 at Osek and Prague. The results indicated outdoor air as the most probable source of particles in the indoor environment of archives at Zlatá Koruna and Třeboň. The penetration of particles at Třeboň was higher than at Zlatá Koruna. These results were confirmed by measurements of ventilation rate, which was at Třeboň almost ten times higher than at Zlatá Koruna.

Invenio within the NRGL: Version 1.0 and More News
Slouková, Jana
Both digital repositories maintained by NTK (NRGL and IDR) are powered by the open source software Invenio. Its great flexibility allows us its continuous development and adaptation to our needs. This year we added several features that make it easier to work with the repositories - for example, we improved the search, presentation of records, and added export to various citation managers. Following the release of new version of Invenio, we also created a new freely available installation script, that facilitates the installation and basic configuration of the system to those interested in creating their own repository.

Drozda, Jiří
Výzkumný ústav geodetický, kartografický a topografický (VÚGTK) se věnuje výzkumu a vývoji v oboru zeměměřičství, geodynamiky země a katastru nemovitostí, vývoji a testování nových technik, postupů a software a odborným konzultacím v těchto oblastech. Při těchto činnostech vzniká velké množství šedé literatury, kterou VÚGTK částečně zveřejňuje prostřednictvím svých webových stránek. V roce 2011 VÚGTK začal koncepčně řešit uchování šedé literatury s cílem vybudovat digitální repozitář. Strategickým záměrem VÚGTK je bezpečné uchování a zveřejnění šedé literatury s dodržením standardů pro výměnu dat tak, aby své výstupy mohl dále šířit prostřednictvím národních a mezinárodních bází. V příspěvku bude představeno též využití metodik a standardů Národního úložiště šedé literatury a navázání spolupráce.

The Kyrgyz republic belongs to the category of countries which, after the collapse of the USSR in 1991, got through a difficult transition from a centrally planned economy to a market economy. To this day, continue problems caused by the unpreparedness for secession from the Soviet bloc, still ranks Kyrgyzstan among the world's poorest countries. However, due to the rapid implementation of liberal reforms, it has bulit a position of the most democratic state in the region. Based on these facts, Kyrgyzstan since the beginning of its establishment operates a number of international organizations in the framework of effective cooperation making efforts to improve the current situation in the Kyrgyz Republic. Of all the Central Asian states official development assistance records the most significant share of gross national income in the Kyrgyz Republic. Kyrgyzstan also from the states of Central Asia receives the largest amount of ODA per capita. The thesis analyzes the individual donors, duration of cooperation and the amount of ODA that Kyrgyzstan receives annually from these donors. Based on the method of regression analysis, this thesis determined the expected increase in the amount of financial resources within the ODA in the next two years. This bachelor thesis also analyzed the priority sectors of cooperation for individual donors and identified the most preferred areas, supported by ODA, which are infrastructure and social services, economic infrastructure and services, health and education. In addition, it focused on the critical year 2010, in which it held a political coup, after which occurred the democratization process and the introduction into the parliamentary form of government. This bachelor thesis monitors the changes of the character of ODA after this year and the response of donors to the aforementioned events, including the subsequent ethnic riots in the south of the country. Based on the collected data and graphics, the increase in the amount of ODA for Kyrgyzstan was recorded after 2010 and the response in the form of projects aimed at the reconstruction of the affected areas.

New Roman Period settlement finds from Prague-Kbely
Malyková, Drahomíra ; Bursák, D. ; Pecinovská, Monika
Presented rescue excavations took place in north-eastern part of Prague in the year 2007 within the parish of Prague-Kbely. Most of the features and artifacts belong to the Bronze Age and the late Iron Age. In this contribution authors focus only on the part of archaeological record that brought some evidence on settlement activities datable to the Roman Period. Approximately a half of the artifacts come from eight sunken features, the other part was found widespread in the wide unstratified layer, so any house or farmstead layout is hardly recognizable. Among the common pottery sherds that belong typologically to the end of 2nd-4th Century AD and bear typical signs of Germanic pottery were found also some finds of Roman-provincial provenience. Due to the small dimensions and absence of more detailed typological traces is hard to say something more concrete about these in Bohemia rarely found artifacts. Important finds also present the metallic artifacts, mostly from 2nd and 3rd Century AD.

Effective System of Evaluation and Financing of Research, Development and Innovations Project: hopes and expectations
Hronová, Stanislava
Since 2004 the methodology of evaluating research and development results (later: methodology of evaluating results achieved by research institutions) applied in the Czech Republic has gone through many revisions which however have not changed the principles of what was devised as a not very suitable system. The deformations resulting from such evaluation became fully apparent when the results were directly linked to the distribution of funds provided for the long term development of a given organisation. In 2011 the Council for Research, Development and Innovation decided on the basis of discussions within expert community about the fate of evaluation methodology, negative effects it had on research institutions, partial outputs (at that time) of the RDI System International Audit in the Czech Republic to adopt the Long Term Principles of Evaluating the Research Institutions Results. These principles are the backbone of IPn Methodology Project that should provide the scientific community as well as the public administration with an instrument of evaluating research institutions and with the system of research and development in the Czech Republic respecting international standards and departmental differences, based on quantitative and qualitative criteria
