Sport journalists as press secretaries of sportsmen or sport clubs-ethical issue

Diploma thesis "Sport journalists as press secretaries of sportsmen or sport clubs - ethical issue" deals with the problem of sport journalists who work for sportsmen, sport clubs or associations at the same time, often as press secretaries, authors of articles on their websites or press conference organizers and presenters. This could be considered as a conflict of interest and can affect his/her work for media, for example agenda setting or content of the stories. This thesis focuses on two main problems: how Czech codes of ethics deal with conflict of interest and how editors-in-chief of sport columns think about conflict of interest. The last part of this thesis is a case study of selected sport journalist who is in conflict of interest.

Issue of korfball integration in sport education at secondary schools in the region of České Budějovice

This thesis is focused on finding how korfball is integrated in the process of sport education at secondary schools in the region of České Budějovice. The survey was carried out by questionnaire and interview methods. A school was chosen where korfball was experimentally taught. The theoretical part of this thesis includes general information about korfball: rules description and clarification, the system of the game, the history and subsequent development, the club and national achievements. In the survey, issues were investigated such as korfball development in the region of České Budějovice, pitch types at schools, possible interest from student´s side and why korfball is not regularly played at schools. It was then looked into how students as well as their teachers evaluate korfball from different points of view. For example interest in collective lessons for girls and boys and its effectiveness. All results are graphically expressed and mentioned in the discussion and conclusion of this thesis.

Opportunity of sports realization for handicapped people in Prague

The thesis in its theoretical part deals with general characteristics and distribution of disability. The goal is to find and map the possibilities of physical activities of persons with disabilities in Prague, especially if there is a sufficient supply of organized sport. A closer look is devoted to sports activities of visually impaired, their classification system and the types of sports that they may operate. The practical part then explores the possibilities for sport for visually impaired people in sports clubs in the City Prague. For better orientation and understanding are assessed graphically different conditions and results of research that visual and counted showing fairly accurate the status in the possibilities of sport activities for visually impaired people.

Proposed structure of the training unit Olympic rope climbing for youth and test its functionality in practice

Aim of this work is to propose training unit, test it in practice and create an overview of possible training procedure. This training unit should be useful for rope climbing exercise in basic phase and partially in the specialized training in sports clubs and also in school physical education. This is known as a guide for training on this tools. But it is only a small part of what needs to be done to achieve good results. Testing was made by observation of sportsmen from sport club ŠSK Palestra Praha and several others when they were practising the training unit. On the basis of the observation was chosen the follow-up questionnaire method, which evaluated the pros and cons of training and recommendations for practice. Another task was to get acquainted a community of athletes and the general public with the history and the present of the discipline, with the help of contemporary pictures and texts, through this work.

Possibilities of the team collaboration via cloud tools

Subject of my bachelor work is a comparison of different ways of collaboration via cloud services. I focused on meaning of the ?collaboration? and ways of collaboration in the past and the present. I tried to define a form of collaboration in future too. But first of all, I dealt with collaboration via cloud. I also compared chosen services on specific problem and looked for their positives and negatives. Testing was performed using real sports club in České Budějovice.

Analysis of sports agents activities in connection with identifying and developing sports talents (on the examples of football and ice hockey).

1 Abstract Title: Analysis of sports agents activities in connection with identifying and developing sports talents (on the examples of football and ice hockey). Objectives: The goals of this study was to analyze the activities of sports agents in ice hockey and football. The actual research was conducted by comparing the information from 4 groups of probands - a) Sports agents, b) Coaches, c) sports managers, d) players. Methods: The main research methor chosen was a qualitative research approach, information was obtained in two ways: a) providing a structured interview (sports agents, coaches and managers) and b) a questionnaire with open questions (players). Results: The research results showed similar ways of view of sports agents in the field of football and ice hockey. Individual groups of probands understand the activities of agents in different terms. A unifying feature defined by all groups is representation of players in terms of negotiation for professional contracts with clubs. Except for a group of sports agents, no other group sees their work as important for the development of the players performance. Keywords: Sports agents, players, coaches, sports managers

THE OFFER OF ACTIVITIES FOR SOCIALLY HANDICAPPED CHILDREN HOW TO SPEND THEIR FREE TIME EFFECTIVELY

The topic of this bachelor thesis is Offer of quality leisure activities for endangered children. The theoretical part characterises basic concepts relating to endangered children, special education and leisure time. Next it describes the structure of organizations that care of these children, such as state and local authorities. The theoretical part also includes who can provide leisure activities for endangered children. Emphasis is placed on the area of volunteering. In the practical part the author focuses mainly on leisure activities offered by organizations to those children. Furthermore the author poses the question why these children are at risk. The research deals with the cooperation between parents of endangered children and organizations that provide leisure time activities. Economic dimension is also considered. Research identifies the financial participation of children or their parents. The results show that the most widespread are sports and artistic clubs. The research declares that parents of endangered children cooperate with leisure organizations. Most children, according to research results, are endangered by disability, ethnicity or unstable family background. Fees for the clubs are either missed, or they can be waived at most organizations under predefined conditions. The bachelor's thesis can be used as an overview of offered activities for endangered children in České Budějovice and Tábor.

Analysis and Projection of Health Education in Sports Training of Ice Hockey Players.

This thesis examines the impact of psycho-training based on yoga techniques in sports training of young ice hockey players. The psycho-training was aimed to develop the attention, the concentration, to improve self-confidence and psychical resilience and finally to master relaxation techniques. The intervention program of psycho-training "Intensity" (ČERNÝ, KREJČÍ, 2012) was realized within a one week season training camp. The study group consisted of 12 hockey players of ice hockey club Tabor. All volunteered players who intended to this intervention were approximately 16 years old. The participants passed through the psychological input tests before the start of study program. Psycho-training consisted of 7 sessions, each lasting 80 minutes. The education took place before training on the ice during the morning. After completion of the intervention program the participants passed through the output psychological tests. The acquired data were compared and statistically validated. The results confirmed the hypothesis. Psycho-training program "Intensity" was recommended for education of coaches of young players youth with applications in-season training camp.

Position of the local authority in sport promotion in a middle size town - case study of Příbram

Summary: Title: The role of local government in sports cultivation of a middle-size city - a case study of the city Příbram with emphasis on sports equipment. Supervisor: Doc. PhDr. Irena Slepičková, Csc. Aim: The goal ofthis thesis is to find out what role the local government performs in the area ofsport encouragement in Příbram. Methods: I utilized the knowledge and methods of the qualitative research in my thesis. I used a case study as a plan ofthe qualitative research. Results: My research showed that the local government of the town Přibram tries to support the local sports activity providers within its resources. The funding policy of the city government towards sport subjects seems, in my opinion, fair and purposeful thanks to the use of detailed principles in the sports activity funding process. Psychological training for swimmers who are regular took part in the Czech championships\\

The dissertation deals with the psychological training of swimmers from the Jihlava junior swimming club, who regularly take part in top swimming events. The theoretical part describes the mental processes in sport, personality traits, sport training, optimizing of psychophysiological conditions of performance, psychological training of swimmers. The research part searched the initial state of psychological readiness of the group and designed the intervention program, which was subsequently processed. Research participants neither were engaged in psychological training, nor had any information about it. Some of them suffer from pre-start nervousness and they reveal a high level of activation together with physiological manifestations that can affect the results of the race. The intervention program was designed so as to compensate these effects and to optimally tune, concentrate and motivate the swimmer. The knowledge of psychological training was improved and its importance was increased.
