Economic policy of National front government

The bachelor thesis is focused on economic policy of Czechoslovakia after 1946 up to the rejection of participation in the Marshall plan. Its hypothesis is that development of economic policy was inevitably headed for the transition to a centrally planned economy. At first it focuses on formation of National Front of Czechs and Slovaks which meant a considerable restriction of democracy. After parliamentary elections in 1946 thesis focuses on description of two-year economic plan which was an important instrument of economic policy of the National Front. The last part of thesis describes the circumstances of refusing to participate in the Marshall Plan. The main conclusion of the thesis is that due to political situation was possible other development but transition to centrally planned economy.

Social enterprise as a way to financial stability of the czech nonprofit organizations?

My diploma thesis is focused on the phenomenon of social enterprise in the Czech Republic and its relation to nonprofit organizations. The main goal is to verify in practice if the Czech nonprofit organizations fulfill principles of the social enterprise. The next purpose of this paper is to characterize specific features of the Czech nonprofit organizations that became successful social enterprises. The theoretical part serves especially to understand main conceptions that connect to social enterprise and then focus particularly on existence of this phenomenon in the Czech legal environment. It brings theoretical basis for the empirical part of the diploma thesis. The empirical part offers examples of four nonprofit organizations which became social enterprises and concentrates on finding particular characteristics that make them successful or those inhibiting them from fruitfulness. The specific outcome of the diploma thesis is general recommendation regarding characteristics which should nonprofit organizations fulfill to be able to become a successful social enterprise.

The development of government debt in the Czech Republic from 1993 to 2015

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the development of government debt in the Czech Republic from 1993 to 2015 with respect to the development of revenues and expenses of national budget as well as the development of macroeconomic indicators. The thesis is focused on evaluation of the economic policy of respective governments during the period and assessment of the effect of political reasons on the development of government debt. It also comprises a comparison of the situation in the Czech Republic with the situation in certain post - communist states. The theoretical part describes main notions the thesis deals with. Eventually it presents thoughts of selected economists on the economic policy. The practical part carries out analysis of the development of government debt in respective periods focusing on revenues and expenses, and the development of selected macroeconomic indicators. Evaluation of the economic policy of respective governments is also included. In its conclusion the thesis assesses an effect of political reasons on the amount of the government debt in view of relevant theories and hypotheses. The analysis showed that under the studied circumstances only one of the hypotheses became evident, namely that a weak position of the government leads to remarkable budgetary deficits.

According to the June survey of Public Opinion Research Centre, only 21% of Czech citizens approve the adoption of euro as legal tender in the Czech Republic, 68% oppose it. Since April 2010 a support for adoption of euro fell by 17%, while share of disapproval increased by 13%.


Czech business environment from the perspective of Italian entrepreneurs

The final thesis deals with the topic "Czech business environment from the perspective of Italian entrepreneurs." It is divided into three chapters. The first chapter covers the business environment in general and evaluates the position of the Czech Republic in various competitiveness rankings or reports. The second chapter describes the Czech business environment -- its state and development from 1989 to the present and evaluates the Czech business environment using the PEST analysis. The last chapter is purely practical and outlines the view of Italian entrepreneurs on the Czech business environment, their opinions and experience gained during doing business in the Czech Republic. The whole thesis is summarized at the end in the SWOT analysis of the Czech business environment.

Tax and legal issues of real-estate business in Austria

The purpose of this study is to compare tax and civil-law issues concerning property business in Austria and in Czech Republic in 2016 and to investigate the efficiency of the current legislation against the real estate bubble. The theoretical part of this study contains selected demographic and price statistics concerning real estate in both countries and focuses on the description of the existing law currently in effect in both compared countries. The practical part analyses tax and transactions costs that concern property trading and a comparison of possibilities of amortisations and rentability of a rented flat in both countries.

Invalidity of a resolution of the General Meeting

It was chosen with regard of my interest in commercial law and concurrently of a rarity of institute. The purpose of my thesis is to analyse the given topic globally, namely with regulation of general meeting. Invalidity of the general meeting resolution respectively the possibility to seek a court decision to invalidate the resolution of the general meeting is the protection of the persons determined by Commercial Code against the wrongful resolutions and their dire consequence. Formally the thesis is divided in the twelve chapters. In the first part of thesis is attended to the very position of general meeting in the structure of organs of a limited liability company and a join sock company. A Comparison of Two Models of the Energy Market Development in Czech Republic from 2015 to 2040

The bachelor thesis is focused on the prediction of the energy market in the Czech Republic between 2015 and 2040 and on the comparison of potential costs related to two models of energy portfolio management. The first model was created according to the National Energy Concept from 2014, while the other one was designed artificially to simulate usage of the renewable resources in 50% of the electric energy production. The theoretical part of the thesis discusses the recent situation of the Czech energy market, defines types of energy resources and explains terms related to the discussed topic. In the practical part, direct production costs of different kinds of power plants were computed and used to estimate economic demands of the two considered models. The efficiency of both models was compared and evaluated. The aim of the thesis was to decide, which of the two models would be more favourable for the Czech national economy. The concept and types of bills of exchange and promissory notes

- 1 - Abstract The topic of my diploma thesis is "The concept and types of bills of exchange and promissory notes". The reason why I chose this topic is my interest in securities law, especially in bill of exchange law, and my previous work experience. I regularly work with bill of exchange law in my employment so this is a reason why I have decided to expand my knowledge of this particular law. The bill of exchange and check act number 191/1950 Coll., as amended, is the basis of legislation for this kind of law in the Czech Republic. The most significant advantage of this act is the constancy, which is given by the general method of treatment of this issue. This advantage can be considered as one of the main disadvantages too, because the solution of unique issues is left to case law and literature. This is a reason, why the core of this diploma thesis is chapter 5, where I analyse the essential requirements of bill of exchange and promissory note.
