Financial analysis of chosen spa company

This master´s thesis deals with financial analysis of a spa company. The aim is to determine financial situation and productivity of the chosen company Priessnitzovy léčebné lázně a.s. which owns and runs spa Jeseník. Theoretical part describes financial analysis. It presents its aims, sources from which it draws and describes chosen methods. It mentions the specifics of economy of spa companies. In the second part spa Jeseník is introduced and financial analysis on the chosen company is applied and evaluated.

Optimal production strategy of the chosen company in the area of mechanical engineering

The topic of this diploma thesis is "Optimal production strategy of the chosen company in the area of mechanical engineering" - namely the EUTECH join stock company, or more precisely its toolshop division, which deals with the manufacture of injection moulds, parts and production of special devices for aircraft industry. The aim of the paper is to evaluate, according to the defined factors, what is for the EUTECH join stock company more favourable - invest in purchase of the 5-Axis CNC machining center technology and deal with this process inside of the company or ensure this technology in cooperation with another companies. The thesis is divided into two main parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, the subjects of operation management theory and production are dealt with. The practical part deals with the production strategy of the EUTECH join stock company, or more precisely of its toolshop division in detail. The company is briefly introduced, the situational analysis of division toolshop is conducted and the production process of the company is examined. The final chapter deals with the use of cooperation in the toolshop division. The main and other factors affecting the choice of "product or sell" strategy are evaluated and consequently is decided which strategy is in case of the 5-Axis CNC machining center technology more favourable.

Analysis of the economy of selected bank institution

The aim of this thesis is a financial analysis of Komerční banka, a.s. in business years 2010-2014 and further comparsion of results of this bank with results of another financial institution which is Česká spořitelna, a.s. The thesis is composed of methodical part and application part. In methodical part are described principles of financial analysis, information sources, users and financial indicators. In application part the methods and indicators are applied to Komerční banka, a.s. and after that the results of this bank are compared with financial situation of Česká spořitelna, a.s. The conclusion of this thesis summarizes important findings and includes assesing of the whole financial situation of Komerční banka, a.s. and compared entitity Česká spořitelna, a.s.

Draft business strategy at the selected organization

This diploma thesis deals with business strategy of company Autocentrum Elán, Ltd. which should strengthen its competitiveness and provide direction and possibilities for the following period. This work is based on theoretical knowledge and describes analyses of company environment and mainly internal sources and company capabilities. The analytical part deals with the preparation of a company business strategy draft based mainly on analysis of current situation and its evaluation. The greatest emphasis is on development of operating leases when selling the new Škoda cars on which other stages and points of proposed strategy are based on.

Bank fees in Czech Republic

This thesis deals with bank fees in the Czech Republic, which has been a topical issue in recent years. The objective of this thesis is to analyse and compare bank fees in the Czech Republic. It also aims to evaluate selected bank fees in terms of their importance for generating profit for the banks as well as from the clients perspective. The introduction to the theoretical part describes the basic characteristics of the banking system. The thesis then presents bank products and services, bank fees and the bank fee policy. The work includes a survey and analysis of the banking market in term of banking institutions in the years 2007 to 2014. It also includes a financial analysis for the years 2007 to 2015 and an analysis of the banking market from the perspective of the client, which compares selected banking institutions on the basis of charges and selected banking products based on fees. It defines three sample groups for which the most suitable banking products and banking institutions are recommended. In conclusion, the results are formulated together with recommendations for banks and clients. For the client Student came out best a current account UniCredit Bank, U Konto for youngsters. The Active client is also recommended by UniCredit Bank with banking product of U Konto. For target group Pensioner is the most suitable banking institution mBank where the monthly cost is CZK 70. The client can save thousands of CZK per year by making the right choice.

Analysis of the Economy of the Town Horní Planá

The diploma thesis is focused on budgetary economy of selected minucipality, in this case the town Horní Planá. There are described functions of the municipality, its institutions and a property, separation of the property and management with it. The thesis is focused on a budgetary economy of a municipality, a budget, a budget composition, where are defined budgetary incomes and expeditures and subsequently a budgetary outlook is analyzed there. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the economy of the town Horní Planá, which is performed on the data in the next five years, based on the analysis recommend possible measures to achieve the optimum relationship between the economy, efficiency and effectiveness, or finding potential funding sources. Partial aims are evaluation of the progression budgets in the period and to determine the effects of ganges of incomes and expenditures in different years, to analyze cash flow over the period and evaluate influences on cash flow and the analysis of the property of selected municipality and its funding.

Identification opportunities for the selected company

The main aim of this Diploma thesis called "Identification opportunities for the selected company" is to identify the opportunities on market and to provide possible solutions how to use these opportunities. The Diploma thesis is divided into two main parts. First part is a literature overview that should give the reader the basic knowledge and understanding of the topic. Where the information was gained by studying different sources related to the main aim of the thesis. Second part is the analytical part of the thesis. Different analysis has been chosen to support the work. The marketing situation analysis was used and included the analysis of the macroenvironment (the STEP analysis), the microenvironment, market and sales. This analysis was followed by the analysis of part of the external environment (Porter's model of five competitive forces). The last part of the analytical part is focused on the internal analysis. The human resources, finance, sales and products were analysed. The findings from the analytical chapter were used for the final SWOT analysis.

Strategy marketing in a chosen company

The aim of the thesis is to suggest a marketing strategy for a specific company, including the marketing plan in order to deal with possible changes resulting from the current situation. Strategic marketing process, which is based on the strategic management process consists of planning, implementation and control. On the basis of marketing situational analysis SWOT analysis was set up, marketing objectives were defined, strategies were formulated and a marketing plan was suggested. The implementation of a plan is a part of an implementation phase. Finally, the interim results were evaluated and possible changes were proposed, which should lead to the achievement of the planned outputs at the end of the period.

The actor and the character

This work is dedicated mainly to the findings about character and acting as well as about myself, which I have gained during the rehearsing of the character Neschastlivtsev in Alexander Nikolayevich Ostrovsky´s play The Forest. This work not only describes the rehearsals of this play from Neschastlivtsev´s view, but also presents other examples of a director´s work and an actor´s interpretation, both from rehearsing before the boarding of the alumni class and from the following outside-of-school acting experiences.I have tried to define the method of my work on this play and on this concrete character; this method may resemble other methods on many other characters in some way. However, Neschastlivtsev is a very unconventional character - maybe because he is an actor himself, which makes him more approachable to the performer. He is a timeless and rare character as well; that is also one of the themes that I have covered in my work

The retail space management

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to map the space management of a selected retail unit, which is Jednota, in Kamenice nad Lipou, and propose changes interpreted through the new model. The theoretic part is focused on a concept - space management. An important part of space management includes the areas of merchandising, purchasing behaviour, shopping atmosphere and a store layout. These concepts contain possible strategies by which the sellers display their goods, optimally organize floor space and improve retail environment in a shop. The practical part is concentrated on the customer satisfaction with the arrangements of selling space. A marketing research analyses and evaluates on the basis of a questionnaire the customer satisfaction. Finally, bachelor thesis includes a new model of the business unit with proposed alterations in the store.
