Klinecká, Magdalena ; Tomášek, Jiří (advisor) ; Palkovská, Jana (referee)
This work treats of chamber music in several points of view. First, it deals with chamber music in itself; second, with its relation to the interpret; third, with its reference to the audience. Concerning the relation between the interpret and chamber music, we recognize different stages and levels of its prosecution - by children, pupils, amateurs and professional musicians. Further, we detect the impact of chamber music on a person listening to it. We find the positive influence of that music on diseased or handicapped people. We get knowledge of various competitions for chamber ensembles. In the end we acquaint with playing chamber music within my "initial" family and with an extract from arrangement of folksongs for children.

International involvement in the peacebuilding process on Sri Lanka
Mojžíš, Michal ; Havlová, Radka (advisor) ; Burešová, Jana (referee)
The final months of Sri Lankan civil war, the 26 year military campaign between the Government of Sri Lanka and the insurgent separatist organization Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam, are marked by allegations of war crimes committed by both parties of the conflict, including attacks on civilians, summary executions of prisoners, enforced disappearances, restrictions on humanitarian assistance and recruitment of children. Since the attempts to put the Sri Lankan issue on the agenda of the United Nations Security Council failed on the unwillingness of China and Russia, the UN bodies in Geneva have taken a leading role in promoting the peacebuilding process on the island. The thesis aims to analyse the impact of the Geneva-based human rights bodies, in particular of the United Nations Human Rights Council, on the process of reconciliation in Sri Lanka, for which is crucial that the alleged violations of human rights in the last months of the civil war would be properly investigated and that the perpetrators would be held accountable. In order to put the activity of the UN Human Rights Council into broader context, the paper will examine the political development in Sri Lanka since the end of the civil war in 2009 as well as the failed efforts of Sri Lankan governments to launch the process of reconciliation.

Ročovská, Silvie ; Sivek, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Hálková, Petra (referee)
Crisis is a part of our lives. There are situations that we are not able to solve only by our power, so we need an expert assistance. The most approachable form of help is telephone crisis intervention (TCI). The TCI is focused on stabilisation of acute state. I dealed with four organizations of telephone hotlines - for children, general and elderly population and hotline for victims of houshold violation. I described their work. Their help is immediate, available, anonymous for both participants, financial inexpensive. All the clients need in situations of crises is safeness and acceptance. Acording to the new law of social services, the workers of crisis hotlines have to improve their education in area of telephone crisis intervention. The organizations which deal with TCI often encounter problems with repeated calling of certain clients. These clients demand attention of hotlines workers because of compensation of missing relationship. The staff should provide other services and motivate clients into real relationships in their lives. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Catholic song-propaganda in the Czech lands
Kvapil, Jan ; Stromšík, Jiří (advisor) ; Petrbok, Václav (referee) ; Kurzke, Hermann (referee)
The Dissertation considers the Catholic song propaganda of the early modern times. Its research is based on Bohemian literate and musical sources. The basic methods of the song-propaganda were actually invented by Protestants. The Catholic reformers were able to react to its influence through their own song-propaganda (for instance Leisentrit and Jesuits) and modernized and developed their own new methods with just a minute delay. The song-propaganda was an outstanding device for indoctrinating common people anyway because of their analphabetism. The main attention was focused on persuasive methods used in the songpropaganda by Catholic missionaries. These methods can be classified as follows: The repetitive method was the simplest one based on a simple reproduction of fundamental Christian texts (Lord's Prayer, Credo, Ave), religious dogmas (purgatory, confession, communion) and ideological doctrines (singularity of the Catholic Church) in a musical form. It was mainly applied in the catechesis. The songs inspired by this method were mainly addressed to children and youth. The exemplary method gives either positive or negative example people should or should not follow. These songs narrated mostly a life of a exemplary saint. They were very popular among children and therefore applied in catechesis. A more...
