Modification parking places in VUT FSI area, Technická 2, Brno

Diploma thesis is concerned with problems of parking places in VUT FSI area, Technická 2, Brno. In introduction there are explained methods of parking, sorting and orientation proportions of vehicles. Then there are explained basic requirements for parking areas according to valid norms and rules. In this task there is analyzed original and actual status of parking. Before separating suggestions is finished calculation of required number of parking places. Solution of whole problems around parking places is in three projects. Results are compared in conclusion.

Clause analysis in Czech conmplex sentences

This Master thesis deals with identification of clauses in Czech morphologically annotated sentences and finding the inter-clausal relations. The task is approached as a machine-learning problem. An annotation scheme for clauses in Czech text is presented alongside with a method for deriving clause-annotated data from the analytical layer of Functional Generative Description coded in the Prague Markup Language. The gathered data are used for training and evaluating a system of automated identification of clauses and their relations. A method of evaluation of the result is suggested and separate software applications created during the development are presented.

Project management in selected company

This work deals with project management in chosen company. It has two parts. The first part is theoretical, which is focused to theoretical treatment of the subject. It explains what is the project, management of projects, organizations of projects, processes of project management, what is target of project, communication, control, changes and risks and more. In the practical part I focused to concrete company and project management and than I analyzed concrete project. Name of the mentioned company is OHL ŽS, a.s. It is company from Spain, which acts all over the world. In the Czech Republic has the base in Brno. This company has several divisions and every of them is focused to different professional architecture. I have chosen division of structural engineering. This division builds all kinds of buildings. It could be construction of new buildings or reconstruction. To analysis of chosen project I used various business documents, contracts with investor or suppliers, document which include billing, timetable. I especially used my experience with projects of this company, and I was part of this project. Name of this project is Reconstruction of cladding including replacement windows and insulation. During the analysis of project I found a couple major gaps. If we could avoid these gaps, we could increase profit. These graphs is especially in management. At the beginning there were appointed two temporary construction managers. They doesn't care about result project, because they knew that they will not be to the end of the project. These gaps are because there is missing motivation system. Project manager can´t affect results of employees. It doesn´t depend on performance of employees, they always has the same wages. For elimination of these gaps I proposed several suggestions for improvement. The first suggestion is modification and extension of motivation system. New motivation system include personal evaluation. This evaluation depends on performance of employee. The second part is bonus from over profit. The next suggestion is make a new working position. This position would take care about controlling and project documentation. During the building project, especially at the end is construction manager very busy. It depend of decision of construction 63 manager what kind of activity will have prefer. Project documentation and administration or controlling of building works. If they are doing everything correct and technology are respect. Suggested position would take care about invoices, real work, which is done, project documentation, controlling of budget. The third suggestion is purchase of small machinery such as chipping hammers and drills. At this time they rent all devices. Rent is higher than purchase price. The last suggestion is use credit to restoration of fleet. At this time they have obsolete fleet, because the bought all cars by cash. It is not conveniently.

Ageing of population in countries of the Visegrad Group

The Bachelor thesis deals with ageing of population in countries of the Visegrad Group. The thesis is divided into three chapters. In the first one, are introduced general indicators and terms connected with ageing of population. The second chapter includes graphs which are related to life expectancy and healthy life expectancy in the countries of the Visegrad Group. Further there are graphically illustrated demographic indicators related to ageing of population -- ageing index, dependency ratios, economic dependency ratio and average age. The third and final chapter deals wih population ageing, pension schemes in the countries given and also contains a proposal for possible modification of pension schemes. The goal of this thesis is a description and comparison of ageing in the countires of the Visegrad Group by the demographic indicators and also a suggestion of a possible solution in terms of pension schemes. All necessary data for calculation and graph creation were have been taken from the Eurostat database.

Performance of the system for energy utilization from biomass

This diploma thesis deals with the problems associated with acquisition of experimental data from technological unit for biomass combustion with nominal capacity of 1 MW, with regard to determination of thermal efficiency. In the introduction part, parameters of currently available biomass-based fuels as well as of those with large potential in the future are summarized. Further, a review in the field of biomass combustion technology is given. Biomass boilers are compared according to their technical parameters, function and benefits and drawbacks. In theoretical part methods for determination of thermal efficiency by direct method, indirect method and modified indirect method are described. Main parameters influencing resultant values of efficiency are included into the analysis. In final part an evaluation of real operational data from prototype unit combusting wooden chips is made. Recommendations for further experimental data gathering and their processing with the aim to evaluate thermal efficiency are suggested.

This Bachelor's thesis deals with marketing activities of non-profit organization in sport field, VAŠE LIGA, o. s. The goal is evaluation of VAŠE LIGA's marketing activities and suggests the recommendation, which lead to increase in awareness about the organization and to attract the players to the league. Bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part describes marketing and non-profit sector. In the practical part are written a competition analysis and SWOT analysis. In addition, it continues to describe with marketing mix. In the final part are proposed modifications, which conduce to higher public interest in organization.

Technology project and layout for holder

The project conceived within engineer‘s studies of branch 2303T002 is showing holder produce technology using by the company UniTools Press CZ Valašské Meziříčí. This holder is a part of car seat-adjusting system dedicated for Peugeot 308. According to the literary research, next part of this project is submitting two diferent solutions of produce technology and then it chooses the best one. The best one is chosen with the help of weight values table. The holder is produced in associated tool on press Arisa 400 with nominal force 4000 kN. The holder is manufactured from the roll of sheet steel S355MC (thickness 3mm). In the last part this project is suggesting the modification of produce technology in order to increase tapping tool working life and to increase the production productivity. The Study of More Effectiveness Selected Technology of Maintenance

This diploma thesis deals with a proposal how to improve technology of mainte-nance of trucks and buses of ICOM transport branch in Humpolec. Main aim of this diploma thesis is the analysis of current technology of maintenance, especially the oil system and it´s modification. This aim was reached by suggestion of the new technol-ogy of oil system, technical eguipment and elaboration of new technical methods. Modern and efficient technology of oil system for trucking and repairation is the solution of this topic. That is the set of processes with operating system (monitoring) whitch guarantees safe, enviroment storage of oils, greases and antifreezer, their de-cantation and precise dosing during distribuion.

The proposed solution MÚK D1 motorway with road I/23 and II/602 u Kývalka

The master´s thesis focuses on modification of existing interchange Kývalka on D1 motorway. The purpose of this thesis is to design optimal solution of junction of roads I/23 and II/602 with D1 motorway connecting all directions, considering transport capacity a safety. The another part of the thesis is widening motorway D1 to six lane arrangement with one lane for slow vehicles. At first, several possible designs were suggested of which two were chosen for further elaboration as a search study. In the end, thesis contains the comparison of two chosen designs.
