Optimization of Manufacturing and Assembling Technology of the Valve Bolt
Hrouzková, Andrea ; Zapletal, Josef (referee) ; Doležal, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis aimed to study the impact of manufacturing and assembly technology, the valve bolt fitted to diesel high pressure pump CP3 in the Bosch, which has been found to leak. As experimental material was chosen heat treated bolts M16x1,5 made of material 12 050th. Groups of samples were produced in two ranges hardness. Experimental determination of the optimum range of hardness was assessed on the basis of the results of the process of the screw and set the value of plastic deformation of the sealing surfaces of the parts. Experimental section also deals with the analysis of bearing surfaces on the pump and the components, after the screw process. To some extent, is observed as surface treatment

Test bench for analysis of energy recovery in experimental vehicle
Indruch, Jiří ; Čermák, Jan (referee) ; Nevrlý, Josef (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with design of an experimental test bench for recovery energy simulation at machines with hydrostatic energy transmission. This work describes choice of connection and selection of hydrostatic and other components. A first part of the thesis deals with calculation and design of the flywheel whose is its rotational kinetic energy corresponds in a certain scale to translational kinetic energy of the experimental vehicle. The thesis outlines the efficiency of transformation of rotational kinetic energy to pressure energy its accumulation and subsequent conversion back to rotational kinetic energy. Precise determination of the effectiveness of hydrostatic recovery is one of the objectives of experiments that will be implemented at the test bench. The task of the measurement and physical-technical analysis to be conducted at the manufactured test bench is primarily to obtain data at for the precise control of the hydrostatic energy recovery system to maximize its efficiency.

Autofluorescence dřevokazné houby Fomes fomentarius
Žižka, Zdeněk ; Gabriel, Jiří
We observed the core of wood-rotting fungus Fomes fomentarius fruiting bodies in fluorescent microscopes. When excited with blue light, they featured thin-walled generative hyphae with septa and clamps, some of which emitted a strong yellow, yellow-green to yellow-red autofluorescence. In addition, we found yellow-red fluorescing thick-walled skeletal hyphae and strongly fluorescent thick-walled pith sets. On using green excitation, intensive red fluorescence was observed not in all these fruiting body components but also in the rest of the wood material

Marek, Tomáš ; Máša, Vítězslav (referee) ; Pavlas, Martin (advisor)
Scope of this thesis is the design and evaluation of a laundry processing facility. Main goal was to prepare, design and evaluate part of the technological layout for a modern, high-volume laundry processing facility. The focus was on the main apparatuses, main process flow, as well as the supporting process flow, related equipment and key components of field instrumentation with standard description. 3D facility model was prepared on the basis of proposed technological layout, using the SolidWorks software package. This model shows placement of all key equipment and components as well as physical disposition of connection tubing within the building. Final part of work reviews proposed options of process parameters measurement. Such measurements which are important for the evaluation of energy consumption of considered laundry processing. We discuss both pros and cons of evaluated and selected suitable measurement devices, tools and procedures. Constructed 3D model of piping lines shows placing and dimensions of selected measurement devices.

Comparison of quantitative LIBS analysis of steel standards utilizing single-pulse and double-pulse LIBS
Pořízka, Pavel ; Hrdlička, Aleš (referee) ; Kaiser, Jozef (advisor)
In this diploma thesis the differences between single pulse and double pulse laser induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) methods are discussed. The time evolution of laser induced plasma (LIP) parameters, such electron density, plasma temperature, density of ions and atoms is shown. Selected methods for evaluation of plasma parameters (Boltzmann equation, Saha-Boltzmann equation etc.) are also stated. The theoretical bases of local thermodynamic equilibrium (LTE), which is necessary condition for using of previously stated methods for computation of plasma parameters, are discussed. Diploma thesis also contains the description of each component of our LIBS experimental set up and the way of their optimization. Presented theoretical advantages of DP LIBS method are demonstrated on results of experimental measurements of steel standards.

Characterisation of InP layers prepared by the LPE method with Pr and Nd addition in the growth melt
Grym, Jan ; Procházková, Olga ; Zavadil, Jiří ; Žďánský, Karel
High purity InP epitaxial layers were grown by LPE from the melt conataining, besides essential components, also rare-earth elements admixture. The layers were examined by SEM, low temperature PL spectroscopy, C-V measurements and temperature dependent Hall effect. The behaviour and the impact of Pr and Nd were compared. The concentration of shallow impurities was reduced by up to three orders of magnitude. PL spectra were markedly narrowed and fine spectral features were resolved.

This diploma paper arose as a part of project, which considers by realization of simulated workplace of intensive care unit for biomedical technicians on Faculty of biomedical ingeneering. That was solved by several partial points: list of proposed instruments, space solution of laboratory, orientation calculation of recovery of investment. At first I got acquainted with Standard of Ministry of Health About intensive care unit and I analyzed the present state of this area. The first point was solved by analyse offer of instruments and patient simulator. Than individual components of laboratory were taken up in selection procedures. The second partial point was the concept of space solution of laboratory several instruments and a bed in laboratory 9. I used a recommended computer program Room Arranger for creation of solution. The third partial point was orientation calculation of time of recovery of investment, which proved, that time of recovery of investment is 9 years.

Application strategy of metacognition in professional music education
Kubíková, Jitka ; Pelikán, Jiří (referee) ; Krykorková, Hana (advisor)
Studying branches of music at conservatoire as an art school is demanding talent, personal attributes, but also the intellectual level. This work represents metacognition as a method to developmental potential and so enables the valuable cognition in various areas, including the professional preparation of future musicians and music teachers. The education at conservatoire is specific in many aspects, accordingly there is briefly mentioned the issue of educational presumptions (musical abilities and their development, components of musical talent and importance of teaching style). Main attention is paid to development of thinking skills and to another cognitive activities with the aim to adopt particular metacognitive processes. Programme of Instrumental Enrichment by R. Feuerstein is presented as a stimulation programme intended for systematic development of cognitive functions. Author interprets deficits in the area of learning and offers "tools" to overcome them. The target of intervention is to remove causes of school failure by eliminating undesirable learning dispositions.

Ceramides and Dimethylamino Acid Derivatives as Skin Barrier Modulators
Novotný, Jakub ; Vávrová, Kateřina (advisor) ; Sedlák, Miloš (referee) ; Doležal, Pavel (referee)
The purpose of this work is to contribute to the understanding of the structure-activity relationships and behavior of the skin ceramides and transdermal penetration enhancers based on dimethylamino acid esters. First two chapters provide a theoretical background for understanding the main principles of transdermal drug delivery as well as composition and function of stratum corneum barrier. The experimental work is presented in the form of individual publications in chapters three to five. The first chapter describes transport routes through the human skin and gives an overview of enhancers of transdermal permeation with main accent on their chemical structure, mechanism of action, interaction with stratum corneum components and advantages and drawbacks of their use. The second chapter brings more detailed information on the specific content and composition of stratum corneum. The main attention is paid to the ceramides - a complex group of lipids that play a crucial role as cell signaling molecules and skin barrier constituents. In the skin, these sphingolipids form a major part of the stratum corneum intercellular lipid matrix, which is the barrier for penetration of most compounds. The development of such a protective layer was a critical step in the evolution of life on a dry land. Moreover,...
