Haberzettl, Pavel ; Vávra, Oldřich (advisor) ; Tahal, Radek (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to analyse current situation on the market with golf packages and similar products, which contain cheaper price of entry to the golf course. Another goal is to find out why Czech golfers do not use this type of product together with accommodation. In theory-methodical part is a description of wide variety of influences affecting consumers during their shopping process, specific attributes of services and historical development of golf in the 20th century in Czech Republic, whose impact is there still present. Practical part contains deeper analysis of results from survey focused on segmentation of Czech golfers and their personal service structure preferences regarding golf packages or similar products. The interpretation of survey results is improved by interviews with managers of golf courses and one hotel, which is offering accommodation together with golf entries to surrounding golf courses. The collected data is compared with the same type of international surveys.

Application of Friction Stir Welding in Aircraft Structures
Dále jsme sestavili znalostní bázi základních svařovacích parametrů a porovnali jsme nýtování a FSW na jednoduchém modelu využitím metody konečných prvků a s cílem identifikovat rozdíly v charakteru rozložení napětí v těchto vzorcích.

Nutrition and other factors, which have influence on the formation and prevention of colorectal cancer
BENEŠOVÁ, Lucie
The full title of my bachelor thesis is Nutrition and Other Factors Influencing the Development and Prevention of Colorectal Cancer. In the theory section of the paper I have concentrated on clarifying the term "colorectal cancer", its epidemiology, and furthermore, on diet and other risk factors concerning the development and prevention of this disease. In this theory section I have included information about screening tests for occult bleeding. I have addressed the key objectives in the practical section of the thesis. I had set two key objectives. The first was to research how well respondents were informed concerning diets beneficial in the prevention of colorectal cancer, and the second objective concentrated on assessing the respondents' behaviour in relation to the information they had acquired. The research questions were formulated thus: "How well are people informed about diets aimed at preventing colorectal cancer?" and "Do people behave according to information thus gained?" The qualitative research method a semi-structured interview was used for the research section. Ten male respondents over the age of 45 took part in the interview. Five of these males were Dr Ilona Paseková's outpatients all with a genetic disposition to colorectal cancer, with most experiencing problems related to this disease. The other five respondents were without any predispositions. After receiving answers to the questions posed to the respondents, I wanted to compare both groups in order to ascertain whether those with a genetic predisposition showed a greater interest in this disease. Furthermore, I wanted to find out whether those respondents were actively seeking information concerning the prevention or treatment of colorectal and anal cancer. All those interviewed were very open and willing to answer questions. Collection of data was carried out from January 2014 to March 2014. The conclusions of this thesis show that public awareness of colorectal cancer and its prevention is inadequate. Public awareness of diets beneficial in the prevention of colorectal cancer is markedly poor, even among high-risk respondents. Having observed this lack of awareness, I proceeded to question respondents as to their dietary and lifestyle habits. Furthermore, the respondents were asked if they were aware that colorectal cancer screening was available in the Czech Republic. The results showed that some respondents, however unaware of diets beneficial in the prevention of colorectal cancer, follow a healthy diet, thus fulfilling dieticians' recommendations concerning the prevention of this disease. When asked about preventive foods, respondents most often mentioned brassicas broccoli and cabbage, etc. Conversely, the most often mentioned foods said to increase the risk of disease were smoked meat and red meat. One respondent mentioned the preventive affects of shark cartilage. I was very surprised by this assertion and subsequently searched the internet for information relating to shark cartilage. To my surprise, I found that the respondent was indeed not mistaken, and that statements to that effect can be found on websites promoting dietary supplements containing shark cartilage extract. According to these sources sharks do not suffer from cancer and therefore, their cartilage is closely studied and dietary supplements containing its extracts are produced. Furthermore, I intended to compare two groups of respondents those with genetic dispositions and those without. After carrying out the respective interviews, their comparison appeared to be futile. In both groups I identified respondents who followed a healthy diet and lifestyle as well as those who did not. I found that there is no relation between high-risk habits and predisposition to colorectal cancer. Whether a respondent with such a predisposition decided to follow a healthy diet or change his dietary habits and lifestyle or not was purely a question of his personal preferences.

Two women have an indifferent opinion? one was not sure about the capabilities of the therapist and the other was unsure about the effectiveness of the method. The last woman had a negative opinion. All questioned women have an experience with Homeopathic treatment none of them evaluated the treatment negatively. Experiences with Acupuncture have three respondents, two have never tried it. Four women have got the experience with Acupressure with a positive result. Only one has no experience with the Acupressure.

Children attachment to adult care providers in children homes - analysis of conditions and possibilities
Esterková, Manuela ; Matoušek, Oldřich (advisor) ; Pazlarová, Hana (referee)
The thesis tries to find the answer to the basic question: "What are the possible ways to strengthen attachment between children at the age from 9 to 18 months and their caregivers at the facilities of institutional care, nurses in particular?" The work also aspires to map the external conditions influencing formation of the attachment. In order to explain the topic, some theoretical findings of developmental psychology, attachment theory and information about the system of institutional care in the Czech Republic have been presented here. The answers concerning the strongest factors of attachment behavior and different attachment of one child to various caregivers and vice versa were being sought with the help of the method of an involved observation of the interaction child-caregiver during specific activities of feeding and bathing. Pieces of information about external influences of the attachment behavior and the possibilities to nurture it were being gathered by the method of semi-structural interview with the caregivers and the directors of the visited institutions. The activities of feeding and bathing, which were being observed, have been split into individual elements of attachment behavior (on the side of a child: visual attention, vocal reactions, smile and stretching arms towards the caregiver;...

Linguistic means of present french language in the field of ecology
Hrbková, Olga ; Loucká, Hana (advisor) ; Štichauer, Jaroslav (referee)
Professional style includes scientific style, practical-expert style and popular educational style. The intial theoretical introduction is followed by an analysis on four levels: pragmatic, discursive, the theme-rheme structure and lexical-syntactic. The analysis i s based on a comparison of texts which belong to various areas of professional style and thematically pertain to the subject of ecology. Description of linguistic means is used as a foundation for the analysis on the syntactic and lexical level as well as the analysis of specific features in syntactic, morphological and lexical structure: - syntactic approach examines the use of various sentential constructions and word order in relation to the standards of professional style; - morphological approach focuses on the use of grammatical tenses and grammatical moods - lexical approach surveys the use ofterminology and word-forming process. The method applied determines specific requirements for analysis on individua! levels: on the pragmatic level we study pragmatic factors ofthe communication act. On discursive level we describe overall organization and types oftextual units. On the theme-rheme structure we focus on the arrangement of semantic components within a sentence from the functional sentence perspective and the potential of these...

Theory of mind in preschool children
Hončíková, Dana ; Mertin, Václav (referee) ; Šulová, Lenka (advisor)
Theory of mind, an ability to understand one's mind as well as that of others, is a prerequisite for normal functioning in the human society. It helps us explain and anticipate other people's behaviour, enables us to share meanings and understand humour and forms a base for all social interactions. Theory of mind is the comprehension of human subjectivity - the fact that it is the representation of things, not their objective state, that determines human behaviour. The ability to attribute mental states develops along with the age thanks to the maturing of cognitive structures and acquiring experience in the social area. The most significant changes of theory of mind occur in the preschool age as the child masters mental verbs and begins to understand second-order mental representations. Most researchers conclude that an important change in the quality of theory of mind takes place around the fourth year of age. It is at this time that the child begins to realize the difference between the subjective and the objective reality, which leads to understanding that our representations of the world may not be always correct and depend on our access to information. That is why the researches focusing on the development of theory of mind use a method that examines the ability to understand the false belief - the...

Specific aspects of nursing care of a child with hemophilia.
RENDL, Lukáš
This thesis deals with care nursing for children with haemophilia. Haemophilia is a bleeding disorder that is classified as congenital coagulopathy. In the Czech Republic there are about 780 hemophiliacs, about 230 of them are hemophiliacs aged 0-18 years. Bleeding episodes are caused by the lack or the complete absence of one of coagulation factors VIII, IX and XI, each of which plays an important role in the process of coagulation and its deficiency or complete absence interferes with the clotting cascade. In the theoretical part, the classification of haemophilia according to types and stages, all types of the disease manifestations, the distinctive inheritance pattern of the disease, which causes the disease occurrence only in boys, are mentioned. From a nursing perspective, this thesis deals with psychological and social problems in these patients, the specific needs of haemophilia patients and the resulting specific nursing care. The thesis also presents a very specific haemophilia treatment according to the most modern methods and the comparison of approaches and treatment of hemophilia with other states. To conduct the practical part of this qualitative study, a quantitative survey was used, which was divided into two parts and was carried out in the period from January to April 2011. The aim was to determine how the cooperation between medical institutions and families of children with hemophilia is materialized. The research survey was carried out by using anonymous non-standardized interviews with four families with a child suffering from haemophilia and two nurses caring for heamophylic patients. Another objective was to identify the specifics of nursing care for a child with haemophilia. To meet this objective, anonymous standardized interviews with four nurses working in the children's ward of haematooncology were conducted and questionnaires for nurses and students of non medical fields were used. 12 nurses and 49 students took part in the questionnaire survey. The information received from the questionnaires has been processed into graphs. In the practical part of this thesis it has been identified how the cooperation between a medical facility and a family with a child who suffers from haemophilia works, the importance of a good approach taken by professional medical personnel especially in the early stages, when a family is confronted with the disease the first time, is referred to, and it has been found out that the health care workers´ approach influences the disease acceptance. Specific features of nursing care for a child with haemophilia have been identified, the most specific is considered dealing with coagulation factors preparates that are used to treat the disease. It includes dilution and the subsequent intravenous administration of the preparate, but also the hemophiliac´s family education on this issue. Structured education in this area contributes to the quality improvement of the life of haemophyliacs and their families so that the patients could be shifted to home treatment. The results of this thesis may contribute to the improvement of nursing care for children with haemophilia. The practical outcome is a booklet designed for children with haemophilia which can be used to teaching how to dilute coagulation factors preparates and the subsequent self-administration of the preparates.

Optimization of capital structure and shareholder's investment return
Kudela, Petr ; Marinič, Pavel (advisor) ; Genža, Jiří (referee)
Management of most of the companies pays substantially less attention to structure of raising capital, than to investing it. Sometimes managers forget that the value of the company can be increased not only through proper investments but also through choosing the right proportion of capital structure. There are many theories dealing with this issue. The best known, Miller-Modigliani theory considers as an optimal capital structure the one with the lowest weighted average cost of capital. This thesis is based on these theories and tries to apply them on Czech firm and its Brazilian daughter company.
