Role of the nurse in screening for depression in the elderly.

The diploma thesis deals with problems of depression in older people. Mainly the work is focused on identifying and analyzing the role of nurses in screening for depression in older people in primary care, acute care, long-term care and home care. This thesis was focused on theoretical direction and was used the method of design and demonstration. In this thesis was set one main goals with five research questions. The main goal was to identify and analyze the role of nurses in screening for depression in the elderly. RQ 1: What is the role of the nurse in screening for depression in the elderly? RQ 2: What is the role of the nurse in the primary care in screening for depression in the elderly? RQ 3: What is the role of the nurse in screening for depression in hospitalized patients in acute care? RQ 4: What is the role of the nurse in screening for depression in seniors in long-term and home care? RQ 5: What rating scales and methods are used in screening for depression in the elderly? The thesis introduce the concept of depression. The following are specified the causes of and the important factors that affect depression in the elderly. It also deals the differences in the clinical symptomatology of depression in old age. It explains possibilities and various barriers in the diagnosis of depression. Another chapter introduces complete geriatric examination, diagnostic classification systems, possible screening methods and scales for detection of depression in the elderly population. It also deals methods of pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment and its possible complications associated with older age. By reason of increased suicide rate caused by depressive disorder the issue of suicidal behavior in the elderly is introduced. The next chapter deals with the nursing process, which is used by nurses in practice. It consists of the evaluation of the patient's health condition, making nursing diagnosis, creating nursing plan and subsequent implementation and evaluation. The nursing process is also needy for providing quality care. The nursing process in the stage of nursing diagnosis, introduces possible nursing diagnosis for a patient suffering from depression, which are based on the latest classification. Finally is described the role of nurses in screening for depression in the elderly in different health facilities and their contribution to the timely evaluation of depression in the elderly. This chapter introduces the role of nurses, nursing screening and collaboration with a physician. The role of nurses in screening for depression in different medical facilities is based on the first phase of the nursing process of assessment. On the basis of objective and subjective information, the nurse will assess the overall health and mental condition of the patient. Primarily, it was investigated what is the role of the nurse in screening for depression. On the basis of content analysis and synthesis it was necessary to used and processed domestic and foreign literature. A number of relevant sources are the results of various studies and Meta-analyzes, mostly from abroad, but also from the Czech Republic. The thesis can serve as a basis for nurses. The result of this thesis is to create e-learning material available for students in the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences of South Bohemia in Ceske Budejovice in the tutorial called Moodle.

Správní delikty na úseku občanských průkazů

Pro svou bakalářskou práci jsem zvolila problematiku občanských průkazů, se kterými pracuji téměř každý den ve svém současném zaměstnání, kde zastávám funkci na správním odboru, konkrétně na evidenci dokladů a osobního zájmu proniknout do problematiky. Řada občanů si velmi často neuvědomuje, že občanský průkaz je úřední doklad a je nutné se k němu podle toho také chovat. Velmi často je doklad kopírován, skenován, poskytován jako zástava apod. V praxi není výjimkou i jeho skenování a vkládání do různých systémů a jeho elektronické zasílání osobám, které požadují ověření identity osoby.
Z uvedeného důvodu je cílem mé bakalářské práce na téma: Správní delikty na úseku občanských průkazů, podat výklad problematiky občanských průkazů a podrobněji analyzovat skutečný stav v oblasti přestupků fyzických osob, správních deliktů právnických osob a fyzických osob podnikajících na obci s rozšířenou působností v Litoměřicích.
Analýza bude provedena na základě prostudované odborné literatury a jejích odkazů, praktických zkušeností autorky bakalářské práce z vykonávané funkce pracovníka evidujícího občanské průkazy a statistik úřadu obce s rozšířenou působností.
V bakalářské práci bude použita metoda výkladová, metoda analýzy, matematicko-statistická metoda a metoda komparativní. V úvodu bakalářské práce bude uvedena právní úprava problematiky občanských průkazů, dále budou vymezeny základní pojmy zákona č. 328/1999 Sb., o občanských průkazech, v platném znění, tj. charakteristika občanského průkazu, údaje zapisované do občanského průkazu, dokladů potřebných k vydání občanského průkazu, příslušnost obce k vydávání občanských průkazů a problematika vydávání potvrzení o občanském průkazu. V další části bakalářské práce bude popsán systém evidence občanských průkazů. Teoretická část bakalářské práce bude ukončena povinnostmi vlastníka občanského průkazu, přestupky fyzických osob, správními delikty právnických osob a osob fyzických podnikajících, včetně uvedením sankcí za jejich porušení.
V praktické části budou komparovány statistické údaje konkrétní obce s rozšířenou působností zaměřené na správní delikty na úseku občanských průkazů resp. přestupky fyzických osob, správní delikty právnických osob a osob fyzických podnikajících, za uplynulá období, včetně počtu sankcí a jejich výše.
V závěru bakalářské práce bude zhodnocen současný stav správních deliktů konkrétní obce s rozšířenou působností. (např., zda dochází k nárůstu či poklesu správních deliktů, popř. budou uvedeny návrhy na zlepšení stávajícího stavu).

Incubation Processes in Selected Organization

The thesis is focused on the benefits of process management in startup incubators. The thesis aims to identify the existing cycle of incubation process and subsequently also aims to propose the optimal incubation process within the incubator Point One located at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague. Identification and mapping of business processes of this organization should ensure more efficient management of incubated projects in the future.
In the first part of the thesis theoretical bases are developed, which were obtained from the literature dealing with system analysis and also with identification and modeling of business processes in the organization. Subsequently the thesis introduces different approaches and developments in business management from the oldest functional management to the process and project management.
The second part introduces the incubator Point One, located at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, along with the services offered by this organization. The author together with the manager of the Point One incubator analyzed the current state of the organization and also identified its business processes. Business process analysis is based on the method MMABP (Methodology For Modeling And Analysis Of Business Process). Such analysis clearly defines and maps the processes of Point One incubator. Based on this analysis, the proposals of optimal organizational processes are designed.

Assessing the impact of grant projects on management and community development

This work deals with analyzing and evaluating subsequent management of selected small city in terms of subsidies from national and European funds. The work is preferably focused on monitoring the method of obtaining the subsidies and their effectiveness. At work is a comprehensive analysis of the financial situation of the town, especially on the part of capital income and capital expenses associated with the city's grant policy , which was drawn up using the acquired financial statements of the city.
Detail was dismantled condition of the property and its sources of coverage and subsequently analyzed capital revenue and expenditure .
The conclusion evaluates the assets and resources of its coverage of budget revenues and expenditures of the city and are also cited an opinion evaluating the management of the city získakými capital revenues , which are state subsidies and Europ .

Level and Efficiency of External Controls of Schools in Liberec Region (Focused on Founders' Competences and Mutual Cooperation During the Inspection)

My thesis analyzes and evaluates the status and functioning of the education system in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, it analyzes the causes and consequences of influence of each factor on its quality. The found knowledge is summarized in the proposal of the new external school evaluation. Conslusions are based on the results of inquiry of directors, founders and employees of Czech School Inspection of Liberec region, based on the results of the national project Road to Quality Improvement realized in the Czech Republic, as well as the conclusions are based on results of international teams interested in implementation of evalution of school systems, for example Organization for Economic Cooperation Development (OECD), McKinsey & Company and Standing Conference of Central and General Inspectorates of Education (SICI). The aim of this thesis it to find the scale of competences and responsibility of each subject in educational politics. It is focused on qualification of founders and drawing of consequences coming from all indentified aspects. This graduation theses concerned with creation of human resource branding. The teoretical part is based on the general plane of this theme, given notion and context focused on the importace. The human resource branding was in past a overlooked branch in the company s strategy, which is now increasingly used for the development of companies. While processing was drawn from professional Czech and foreign literature. On the issue was seen both in terms of personnel management in the field of employer branding focuses on current and potential future employees. Correspondingly, a stable position in the labor market. The second is the strategic management and marketing, where it is mostly about brand perception among consumers and company, linking brand and man in the organization. Mention is also beneficial use of advertising in brand building. Practical part of theses is oriented to Goodmills Česko s.r.o. company. The aim of this thesis is to define an effective employer branding strategy for the mentioned organization. When processing the issue to take into account several factors, mainly the issue of marginalization
of employer branding by Czech companies that use outdated and mostly already outdated tools, which do not help to improve their competitiveness in the labor market. To determine the current status questionnaire survey was used both by staff and by management. Selection and implementation of the information system for a project construction company

This thesis deals with the issue of information systems targeted at Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The theoretical part defines basic terminology and creates thereby the theoretical base of the issue of a company´s information systems (IS). Then an analysis of the influence of implementation of information technologies into SMEs is carried out determining the development of the region. The practical part of the thesis is based on a case study dealing with the implementation of the information system QI for a medium-sized project construction company. The case study captures the whole process consisting of the selection of the product, pre-instalment analysis, implementation of the IS, training of the users leading to the system fully operating live. Built on that is then the following economic calculation of the implementation of the IS. The portability of the used solution is then assessed and the resulting outcome of the IS for the company is then evaluated. Drawbacks of the whole process are identified and their solutions are suggested.

Maastricht Criteria and Their Role in Common Monetary Policy of the European Union

This thesis deals with the monetary union development issues and their role in the process of European Union integration. Following the Maastricht convergence criteria (price stability, foreign exchange rate stability, stability of long-term interest rates, and condition of public finance) is essential for the accession to the European Monetary Union (EMU). The sense of Maastricht criteria is to evaluate the level of economic convergence. The content of the thesis focuses both on the evaluation of the candidates ability to fulfill the Maastricht criteria and to integrate into the monetary regime of EMU, and fulfilment of the criteria by current members of EU. Next part of the thesis follows up the origin and development of a theory of optimum currency area (OCA), which assesses the suitability of using common currency within EMU by means of its criteria.
In conclusion of the thesis benefits and expenses of the common currency are compared, and the future development of EMU is mentioned.

An analysis of land fund of Domažlice district

This thesis analyzes the land in Domažlice. In this border region is experiencing significant changes in land use and thus to changes in the structure of the landscape. The work focuses mainly on the protection of soil and landscape structure in that region. It deals with not only trends in land, but the whole system of processes that changes in land fund raises. Therefore, it is also engaged in the wider context of spilling over into other areas.
In the introductory section readers outlines the social significance of soil and land resources, but also the landscape and its structure. The following describes some of the processes that occur in the country, including their impact. The following section is devoted to real estate records (katastrům), their importance and fundamental historical changes in the register of real estate. He also records of agricultural land. Subsequently also describes factors that affect the status of the land fund of the Czech Republic, including state policy and the European Union. There is described a land market and the price of land in the Czech environment. The whole chapter is concluded by a brief description of the historical development until now. The literature search should provide an overall view of issues, including relations with adjoining areas.
Another part is devoted to the identified region Domažlice. There are analyzed the conditions and diversity of this region and its historical development, because only with such knowledge can achieve an objective assessment of the issue. It also established a methodology for the job.
Part of the results is devoted to the results of background and results of individual investigations, which are in the following section compared with current scientific knowledge and partly to the socially accepted attitude.
The conclusion summarizes the results of this thesis and provided the achievement of hypotheses that have been identified in the introductory part. There are also problems outlined and possibly offered the best solution. Part of the annex is devoted to image the documents, which illustrate the text part.
