Optimization of the switching power supplies with synchronous rectifier
Skácel, Josef ; Macháň, Ladislav (referee) ; Žák, Jaromír (advisor)
This thesis deals with switching circuit topic, especially switching power supplies. There are switching circuits without inductance and their benefits presented in the thesis. Basic topologies of switching power supplies, their properties, application area and functions of basic types of converters are also described. The next section focuses on special resonant switching power supplies and synchronous. The main part of the work is carried out simulations using three synchronous rectifiers. The work includes practical design of an SMPS with synchronous rectifier.
Step-down converter with variable output voltage in range from 20 to 100 V
Pazourek, Petr ; Šmirg, Ondřej (referee) ; Hanák, Pavel (advisor)
This master's thesis describes the design and the implementation of a step-down converter with variable output voltage for laboratory purposes. In the introduction the basic functions of switching power supplies are shown, flyback, forward and push-pull converters are described, followed by some integrated circuits for power management of converters. The second chapter discusses in detail the design of requested switched power supply, including the calculation of the electronic parts and design of the storage inductor. Following are described some observations of building this power supply, including the output characteristics. In conclusion, the obtained results are assessed, including proposals to improve whole design.
Desing and implementation of the LCC converter application for emulation validating of the integrated LLC converters
Pokorný, Ondřej ; Levek, Vladimír (referee) ; Prokop, Roman (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the design of an LLC converter, which will be used for the verification of prototypes of integrated circuit designs, as well as its applications. First, we address why we chose the LLC converter specifically for this application. We continue by analysing the specific type of converter and describe its function. The main point of this thesis is the numerical design with input parameters, which concludes with a simulation which verifies the calculated values. The product of the thesis is the design of the final wiring diagram of the LLC converter and the test board (module) and their realisation on PCB. The thesis concludes with a verification of the whole construction using a test board in a practical measurement. The work includes the author’s own design of a transformer, as well as a discussion on the problematics of the usage of magnetic circuits for LLC converters.
Measurement uncertainties in calibration of vibration sensors
Pražák, Jiří ; Uher, Miroslav (referee) ; Šedivá, Soňa (advisor)
This thesis deals with the research of uncertainties of the vibration sensor calibration measurement. The analysis of individual calibration methods of vibration sensors is also carried out in this thesis. Next, measurement of uncertainties for secondary calibration of the vibration sensors are analysed. The experimental part of this work is focused on determining the influence of different elements to type A uncertainty of vibration sensors uncertainty calculation. Experimental measurement was performed in an accredited laboratory for measurement and calibration of vibration sensors at FEEC BUT. Calculation of uncertainties of secondary calibration is also carried out in this thesis.
Resonant and quasi-resonant converters
Krška, Vlastimil ; Sedláček, Jiří (referee) ; Murina, Milan (advisor)
Project is engaged in concept and realization of quasi – resonant converter with switching in minimum voltage which derive benefit from resonance capacitor and inductor. It is one of the possibilities how to increase efficiency of switch – mode power supply. While using resonant converters the losses are reduced, when the resonant inductor will connect and disconnect at zero current in inductor, or at zero voltage on inductor. Base of the power supply is chip NCP1337. Concept comes from detailed analysis functions of integrated curcuit and others curcuits of switch – mode power supply. Project includes a complete concept of all partial curcuits, description of a construction and the main parameters measured on the realized sample.
Organizational Culture and its Influence on Effectiveness of the Work
Dostálová, Marta ; Stach, Martin (referee) ; Pokorný, Jiří (advisor)
My diplomation these is about the coulture of company, about a influence this one on the effectivity of work and the way of the expansion. The force of my diplomation these is in exact specification of firm culture and their elements. It consists of analysis, strategy and procedures, which is needed to make an suggestions leading to expansion of the company and to profess growth of their employers.
Project Management in Companies and its Application in Quality Management
Dvořák, Tomáš ; Hladík, Petr (referee) ; Smolíková, Lenka (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with project management and its application in implementation of ČSN EN ISO 9001:2009 in STAVEBNÍ PRÁCE VALEK s.r.o. organization. Further, it analyses current position of the company and proposes the solution of how to implement quality management system using project management methods.
Design of class AB audio power amplifier
Hynek, Jiří ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
his thesis is focused on a proposal of an audio power amplifier of class AB with minimum capacity of 2 x 80 Watt and with a possibility to control the frequency characteristics, volume and balance. An usage of this proposal is wide today. The proposal is designed to be made from common available components. This thesis includes proposal of an acceptable power supply and proposal of an active cooling elements.
Switched power source for electroplating
Janků, Roman ; Minárik, Vladimír (referee) ; Červinka, Dalibor (advisor)
The thesis deals with the switching source for electroplating. The theoretical principles of galvanizing, the optimal technological process and a list of most commonly used metals are described. There is also a list of well-known producers, and a description of their resources for electroplating, which have the same output parameters. In the second part of the work there is an introduction of the already-completed school source 2000A/20V, major technical imperfections is solved there. There is also proposition of technical layout made in 3D AutoCAD. Finally, there is an economic analysis of the production costs of the source and a research in suitable suppliers of components and materials. The thesis contains an estimate of the selling and total price compared with competition.
