Strengthening of the Marketing Brand Peklik Using Modern Marketing Tools

The aim of this thesis is to strengthen the brand Peklík using modern marketing tools, especially marketing communication, which is nowadays widely spread mainly through social networks, websites and mobile applications on smart phones with effective use of the Internet. The theoretical part of this thesis describes and explains concepts related to marketing communication. The practical part of this thesis deals with creating the environmental analyses for the use of a questionnaire survey. The questionnaire has to find brand awareness Peklík leads to determine the population awareness in a given locality. Identified critical information is needed to implement the project and to build SWOT analysis, which enables to identify strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats. The result of this thesis aims at extending the brand Peklík awareness and increase of tourism in the area MAS Blanský Les.

A web site is often the first point of contact between the user and another person or company or organization, so that in the electronic world, a web site is like a calling card. Ideally therefore, a web site should load relatively quickly to prevent the user from looking elsewhere even before the web site has opened. Also, the web site should have a pleasant design to make it user-friendly, it should display helpful content, be widely accessible and, last but not least, fulfil the aims for which it was created. It is the responsibility of web site designers, programmers and creators to ensure that web sites fulfil their function. A web site audit - either during or after its construction - is the best way of checking that all factors relating to access, use, technical processes and other criteria function correctly. Methodology of Website Design

This thesis deals with the methodology of web design according to current trends and present day demands. Great emphasis is placed on the process of creating web sites, their accessibility and usability. Based on theoretical background and personal knowledge the purpose of this work is to analyze existing website and propose and implement a complete redesign of the website of the Department of Political Science and European Studies at Palacky University in Olomouc. New website will facilitate communication between the department, its students and the public. Usability of new website will be verified by usability testing.

All of these rules and principles are used in the design of company presentation of Atego, s.r.o. The web page is created using XHTML 1.0 Transitional, CSS 2.0, PHP and MySQL database system.
