Space Game Project Using Delta3D Simulation Engine
Sauer, Václav ; Milet, Tomáš (referee) ; Pečiva, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is about gaming and simulation open-source engine Delta3D and its possibilities in game design and development. Work describes basics and ideology of this engine and how engine handles drawing, physics, audio processing and other things widely used in current games. Furthermore this work describes tools offered by engine, which may be used in the process of creating games. This information is then used to implement simple game created with this engine. Process of design and implementation is described in the main part of this thesis.
Simple Game Using Java3D API
Obr, Jakub ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This thesis concentrates on an application interface Java 3D and its usability for game programming. It presents description of this interface and a short presentment of its alternates. It also presents testing scheme for this interface and the tests results. In the end it shows simple game concept using this interface and main implementation features of this concept.
Multiplayer Game for a Mobile Device
Čechák, Daniel ; Hradiš, Michal (referee) ; Bambušek, Daniel (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design and develop a simple and yet fun game for mobile devices, which can entertain players and make their moments of rest more pleasant. The game is developed in Unity. It is a board game for 2-4 players and contains four minigames. Players move around the board using dice rolls and are affected by bonuses gained in minigames based on their skill. The thesis describes the process of designing this game as well as its implementation. Last but not least, the work includes several methods of testing for this game. The game has been published and is freely available on Google Play under the name MiniBoard Champ.
Design and Implementation of a Game for Nintendo Game Boy
Krejčíř, Štěpán ; Polášek, Tomáš (referee) ; Čadík, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis briefly introduces the reader to the context surrounding the launch of the handheld console Nintendo Game Boy. It focuses on the development process for this console, lists the console's quirks that are essential to know in order to write effective code, and suggests solutions to some common problems. The practical part describes the design and implementation of a rhythm game for Game Boy using C language and GBDK-2020 toolkit.
Multi-platform environment for mobile-game development
Vacula, Ivan ; Bednárek, David (advisor) ; Ježek, Pavel (referee)
Title: Multi-platform environment for mobile-game development Author: Ivan Vacula Department: Department of Software Engineering Supervisor: RNDr. David Bednárek, Ph.D. Supervisor's e-mail address: bednarek@ksi.mff.cuni.cz Abstract: Smart mobile devices are getting more and more popular these days. But there comes a problem with their expansion as well. Mobile operating systems differ from each other, as do mobile devices themselves, so development across multiple platforms is not simple. Situation is even worse when it comes to games. These need to use limited resources of a mobile device as much as possible, taking into account quick response to user actions, graphical execution et cetera. The first goal of this thesis is to compare existing solutions for multi-platform mobile game development. The second goal is to design a new system. This system must ensure targeting of multiple platforms during mobile game development. Included in this thesis is implementation of the system on two vastly different operating systems as well as implementation of a demonstration game. Keywords: multi-platform, mobile, smartphone, game, development
Analýza Unity3D Asset Store. Uvedení produktu, taktiky pro maximalizaci tržeb
Korchun, Denis ; Bruckner, Tomáš (advisor) ; Šebesta, Michal (referee)
This thesis focuses on several topics. The first one is a description of Unity3D and its official marketplace - Asset Store, including reasons why the market is attractive for publishers. The second one aims at customers - their motivation for visiting the store and performing purchases. Also, it contains a brief analysis of Asset Store products value for customers based on game developer experience with using several products on a project. The third topic covers development of our own product over time, containing information on wide range of activities like competitors monitoring and analysis, as well as important decisions on further development taken. A path from a poorly performing product to the one of the most popular in a category is described. The last topic is focused on searching for additional ways to maximize publisher income from Asset Store. The aim of this work is to provide practical information on topics described above from two different, yet closely related point of views of both customer and publisher.
