Behaviour in various tennis situations by men and women
Sommer, Jakub ; Kočíb, Tomáš (advisor) ; Carboch, Jan (referee)
1 Abstract Title: Behaviour in various tennis games situations by men and women Objectives: The aim of the work is to compare two surfaces and two sexes and to learn what differences there are and what are the ways of getting points in singles. Methods: The analysis was based on observation of selected tennis matches during Wimbledon 2014 and French Open 2014. A quantitative method was used - lines used as a recording tool. The results were recorded into prepared recording sheets. The analysis of all matches itself was done by a descriptive method. Results: The results inform about differences in styles of play between men and women on grass and on clay. From those differences other tactical distinctions between men and women follow. Also, the results show differences caused by the variaty of surfaces. Keywords: Tennis, men, women, differences, clay, grass
To Dvur Kralove by train - Transfer Terminal in Dvur Kralove nad Labem
Juránek, Marek ; Svojanovský, Viktor (referee) ; Žalmanová, Petra (advisor)
The terminal is becoming a heart of traffic in Dvur Kralove nad Labem. Linking of train and bus transport is inspired by a shape of a “courtyard” - open space, that is surrounded by buildings. This is a stage where acts of transportation, meetings, happiness and worries take place every day. Space has been designed so people don’t only use it for a purpose of transport, but also to enjoy moments of free time. The appearance gives a futuristic impression, however respects city’s history and tries to enrich its surroundings, so it doesn’t become just another place where people like to spend their time. Although trains and buses enter terminal from 21st century, design respects also its history as well as surroundings and use a form and function to promote them. “courtyard” terminal is a place for meetings and goodbyes, where a time flows and journey to adventure begins.
Schopnost kokrhele menšího (Rhinanthus minor L.) parazitovat na vybraných druzích trav a snížit produkci jejich nadzemní biomasy
Křeček, Tomáš
In past, yelow rattle (Rhinanthus minor) was considered as a weed in grasslands due to grass yields reduction and rapid loss of its forage quality. But today it is valued for its ability to reduce the competitiveness of aggressive species of grasses, allowing restoration of species-rich grasslands. In dry and warm conditions in southern Moravia there was tested the suitability of different grasses to serve as host of Rhinanthus minor. The impact of irrigation was also assessed in drought conditions during spring growth on the production of aboveground biomass hemiparasitic plants and their hosts. The last part of the experiment was a test hydrophobicity and infiltration capacity of soils. Field experiment was established in Žabčice experimental station of Mendel University in Brno. To determine the ability of Rhinanthus minor to parasite on various grasses red fescue, Kentucky bluegrass, perennial ryegrass and tall fescue were chosen. Irrigation significantly increased the number of plants and biomass of Rhinanthus. The largest nu-mber of plants and the highest biomass of Rhinanthus minor was found on irrigated plots with tall fescue. On the other hand, the smallest number of plants and the biomass were on the plots with red fescue. These differences are probably related to the ability of the host plant to cope with adverse environmental conditions. The experiment results in finding that red fescue is not a suitable host for Rhi-nanthus minor in dry and warm conditions in southern Moravia. On the contrary, it se-ems that the perfect hosts are deeply rooted tall fescue and clonal (rhizomatous) smooth stalked meadow grass.
Kvalitativní a kvantitativní změny společenstva polopřirozeného travního porostu v závislosti na odstupňovaných dávkách živin, intenzitě využití a měnicích se klimatických podmínkách
Nawrath, Adam
The aim of the paper was to assess the influence of the graded doses of nutrients, different intensities of exploitation and weather conditions of the particular year on the representation of individual agro-botanical groups and dominant species, species diversity and production of dry matter forage in semi-natural grassland. The additional supply of fertilizers resulted in the increased (P<0.05) proportion of grasses, in the decreased (P<0.05) representation of other herbs and in the withdrawal (P<0.05) of clovers. Moreover, the application of nitrogen resulted in the decreased (P<0.05) of diversity indices and number of species. By contrast, PK fertilization had a positive influence on the number of species, diversity indices and proportion of clovers. The growing supply of nutrients and the higher intensity of exploitation led to the increased (P<0.05) production of dry matter forage. The most effective fertilization appears by PK fertilization after which the highest increase of dry matter forage was recorded as well as the highest effectiveness of nutrients utilization. The two cut exploitation of grasslands resulted in the dominance of grasses (P<0.05) and in the decreased (P<0.05) proportion of other herbs and clovers.

Revitalization Program of Floral Garden in Kromeriz
Guzdek, Adam ; Šupler, Libor (referee) ; Jura, Pavel (advisor)
Today's entrance through honorable courtyard is so representative that there's no sense of replacing it by a new one anywhere else. The entrance object has a triangular tympanum including Maxmilian Josef's gold signature and coat of arms. It looks like noble city palace of that period. Sense of the first floor, so called piano nobile, is slightly recognizing on a facade. It's the floor with a larger high that's intended for representation. Therefore I decided to use the historical object fully and all the visitors' equipment, exhibition and lecture spaces are placed right here. New-buildings in the garden are minimized that way. I conceived both of the resolving gardens very sparingly. The reason is their historical essence. Always they were only related to the formal part of the Flower garden. Premises used for any purpose (breeding of rare birds, resource for rabbit hill, growing tulips and oranges). Květnice with the cut lane walls to allow the visitor facilities and provide some exciting long-distance views Converging walls, disorientation in space, entertainment in the bowling alley, in the maze. These elements should remain a formal part of the garden today. They should be isolated and without competition. I design gardens with order, as well as the designed Libosad itself.
Vertex and Pixel Shaders for 3D Visualization of grass
Dokoupil, Martin ; Chudý, Peter (referee) ; Kršek, Přemysl (advisor)
This thesis describes the way to create three-dimensional visualization of grass in computer graphic. Contains progress of grass visualization from past to present. Contains shader intro and its use for visualization. Text mention scene graph which has been used for implementation. Text describes three levels of detail and implemetation of waving grass. Text compares frame speed for each level of grass and frame speed for complete visualized grass.
Rendering "Small" Plants in 3D Space
Řehánek, Jiří ; Přibyl, Jaroslav (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This masters thesis deals with a real-time low vegetation rendering in 3D space. The low vegetation means grass and shrub. At first it looks on a implementation of vegetation in a 3D games that already exist and there investigate characteristics notable while playing and after that it comes to a evaluation of visual qualities. As next will follow design of solution of this problems and description of implementation. In final part will be summary of achieved product.
