Home wireless control system for electrical appliances
Sedlář, Tomáš ; Levek, Vladimír (referee) ; Čožík, Ondřej (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the hardware and software realization of a wireless system for controlling electronic devices in the household. Firstly, the work briefly describes automation in the home environment. Next, the general structure of the designed system is described more closely. Consequently, the project discusses the design of the master and slave device of this system including the suitable components selection. The following chapter deals with designing the printed circuit boards for each device. Finally, there is an outline of the proposed software for this system.
Controlled lighting and shading in smart house
Novák, Michael ; Morávek, Jan (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis is focused on controlling lighting and shading in a smart house. Lighting control covers switching and dimming mechanisms. This thesis presents dimming options for different types of light sources. Following this is an overview of shading devices and system wiring, often called smart wiring. Specifically, the thesis focuses on the Foxtrot system from Teco a.s.. This work describes the sensors and actuators used for switching, dimming and shading control devices. New library of functional blocks for lighting and shading control for Foxtrot system was created, for they were not included in any standard library. All functional blocks that have use in the control of lighting or shading - including standard ones - are described in this work.
Drivers for power switching transistors GaN MOSFET
Fiala, Zbyněk ; Pazdera, Ivo (referee) ; Vorel, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis describes the procedure during the proposal of the driver circuits for the GaN MOSFET transistors, which are known for their fast switching especially. In the first instance of this thesis the issue of GaN MOSFET transistors is described and also the thesis describes the different types of MOSFET transistors in the way of their electrical and mechanical attributes. The specific type driver circuit is stated in the thesis, which was selected in the semestral thesis. For this circuit the boost converter with an output power 600W and high switching frequency 800kHz was proposed as an attempt measurement circuit. This boost converter was measured after its construction was done. The waveforms captured by the oscilloscope are commented also. In the conclusion the assessment is done about this new technology of power switching transistors.
Bus wiring systems for complex building management
Mokrý, Lukáš ; Macháček, Jan (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
The aim of my thesis is to examine current opportunities of bus wiring systems for complex building management, mainly its power and economic evaluation. It can be simply called intelligent electrical installation. I will examine two systems from INELS and ABB company. These systems contain functional components, mainly modules and controllers. By means of other materials, I’ll create a panel. Components will be placed there and electrically connected. After this, systems will be put into operation and programmed by means of their software. The next step is measuring of quatities during the various conditions of systems and consumption, which is one of the main aims of the thesis. Two apparatuses will be used for measuring. This thesis itself will contain theoretical analysis of systems, their description, using the way of operation and main advantages and disadvantages. Single components and complete process of measuring and working in laboratory will be described. An overall evaluation and comparison of the systems from various points of view, including the price, will be put together from results.
Design of controlled switched power source
Dvořák, Jaroslav ; Bajer, Arnošt (referee) ; Musil, Vladislav (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is focused on designing and constructing of a switch-mode power supply. Goal of this thesis is to design and create functional switch-mode power supply based on the required parameters, and use it for further research of these devices.
The effect of experience on the frequency-dependent food selectivity of predatory aquatic insects.
DUDOVÁ, Pavla
The aim of this thesis is to evaluate current knowledge of predation in aquatic insects in the light of optimal foraging theory and switching. I explain these two phenomena and discuss how they can be connected to explain frequency-dependent prey selection. The review is complemmented by laboratory experiments on the effect of experience on frequency-dependent food selectivity of larvae of dragonflies (Odonata).
